AbstractPhosphorescent white organic light-emitting diodes (PhWOLEDs) based on blue (Firpic) and yellow [(t-bt)2Ir(acac)] phosphorescent emitters with various doping concentration were reported. A PhWOLED with high performance characteristics has been obtained when the doping concentration for Firpic and (t-bt) 2Ir (acac) is 8 wt% and at 6 wt%, respectively. The Commission Internationale del’Eclairage (CIE) coordinates of the optimal PhWOLED is (0.333, 0.416) at 10V. The high performance of the optimized PhWOLED is attributed to effective host-guest energy transfer and efficient exciton recombination combining with suppressed exciton-quenching process in the emitting layers

Self-assembly at the nanoscale represents a powerful tool for creating materials with new structures and intriguing collective properties. Here, we report a novel strategy to synthesize nanoscale colloidosomes of noble metals by assembling primary metal nanoparticles at the interface of emulsion droplets formed by their capping agent. This strategy produces noble metal colloidosomes of unprecedentedly small sizes (<100 nm) in high yield and uniformity, which is highly desirable for practical applications. In addition, it enables the high tunability of the composition, producing a diversity of monometallic and bimetallic alloy colloidosomes. The colloidosomes exhibit interesting collective properties that are different from those of individual colloidal nanoparticles. Specifically, we demonstrate Au colloidosomes with well-controlled interparticle plasmon coupling and Au-Pd alloy colloidosomes with superior electrocatalytic performance, both thanks to the special structural features that arise from the assembly. We believe this strategy provides a general platform for producing a rich class of miniature colloidosomes that may have fascinating collective properties for a broad range of applications

Comparison of the Long-Range Climate Memory in Outgoing Longwave Radiation over the Tibetan Plateau and the Indian Monsoon Region

Based on the detrended fluctuation analysis (DFA) method, scaling behaviors of the daily outgoing longwave radiation (OLR) from 1979 to 2015 over the Tibetan Plateau (TP) and the Indian Monsoon Region (IMR) are analyzed. The results show that there is long-term memory for the OLR time series over the TP and IMR. The long-range memory behaviors of OLR over TP are stronger than those over IMR. The averaged values of the scaling exponents over TP and IMR are 0.71 and 0.64; the maximum values in the two regions are 0.81 and 0.75; the minimum values are 0.59 and 0.58. The maximum frequency counts for scaling exponents occur in the range of 0.625 and 0.675 both in TP and in IMR. The spatial distribution of the scaling exponents of the OLR sequence is closely related to the conditions of climatic high cloud cover in the two areas. The high cloud cover over TP is obviously less than that of IMR. In addition, the scaling behaviors of OLR over TP and IMR are caused by the fractal characteristics of time series, which is further proved by randomly disrupting the time series to remove trends and correlation

To address the problems in the traditional speech signal noise elimination methods, such as the residual noise, poor real-time performance and narrow applications a new method is proposed to eliminate network voice noise based on deep learning of conditional generation adversarial network. In terms of the perceptual evaluation of speech quality (PESQ) and shorttime objective intelligibility measure (STOI) functions used as the loss function in the neural network, which were used as the loss function in the neural network, the flexibility of the whole network was optimized, and the training process of the model simplified. The experimental results indicate that, under the noisy environment, especially in a restaurant, the proposed noise reduction scheme improves the STOI score by 26.23% and PESQ score by 17.18%, respectively, compared with the traditional Wiener noise reduction algorithm. Therefore, the sound sensor\u27s noise reduction scheme through our approach has achieved a remarkable noise reduction effect, more useful information transmission, and stronger practicability

3GPP-Like THz Channel Modeling for Indoor Office and Urban Microcellular Scenarios

Terahertz (THz) communication is envisioned as the possible technology for the sixth-generation (6G) communication system. THz channel propagation characteristics are the basis of designing and evaluating for THz communication system. In this paper, THz channel measurements at 100 GHz and 132 GHz are conducted in an indoor office scenario and an urban microcellular (UMi) scenario, respectively. Based on the measurement, the 3GPP-like channel parameters are extracted and analyzed. Moreover, the parameters models are available for the simulation of the channel impulse response by the geometry-based stochastic model (GBSM). Then, the comparisons between measurement-based parameter models and 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) channel models are investigated. It is observed that the case with path loss approaching free space exists in the NLoS scenario. Besides, the cluster number are 4 at LoS and 5 at NLoS in the indoor office and 4 at LoS and 3 at NLoS in the UMi, which are much less than 3GPP. The multipath component (MPC) in the THz channel distributes more simpler and more sparsely than the 3GPP millimeter wave (mm-wave) channel models. Furthermore, the ergodic capacity of mm-wave and THz are evaluated by the proposed THz GBSM implementation framework. The THz measurement model predicts the smallest capacity, indicating that high carrier frequency is limited to the single transmission mechanism of reflection and results in the reduction of cluster numbers and ergodic capacity. Generally, these results are helpful to understand and model the THz channel and apply the THz communication technique for 6G.Comment: 13 pages, 12 figures, 3 table
