N=6 conformal supergravity in three dimensions
N=6 conformal supergravity in three dimensions is studied in an off-shell
component field formulation. We obtain local symmetry transformation laws and a
Lagrangian of the conformal supergravity multiplet. We then couple it to the
ABJM theory and obtain local transformation laws and a Lagrangian of the
coupled theory.Comment: 20 page
PSU(2,2|4) transformations of IIB superstring in AdS_5 x S^5
The PSU(2,2|4) transformation laws of the IIB superstring theory in the AdS_5
x S^5 background are explicitly obtained for the light-cone gauge in the
Green-Schwarz formalism.Comment: LaTeX, 14 pages, a reference adde
Local Symmetries in the AdS_7/CFT_6 Correspondence
It is shown that local symmetry transformations of the maximal AdS
supergravity in seven-dimensional anti de Sitter space induce those of the
N=(2,0) conformal supergravity on the six-dimensional boundary at infinity.
Boundary values of the AdS supergravity fields form a supermultiplet of the
conformal supergravity.Comment: 13 pages, LaTe
Supergravity in Dimensions
Supergravity theory in dimensions is studied. It is invariant
under supertransformations in 2 and 3 dimensions. One-loop divergence is
explicitly computed in the background field method and a nontrivial fixed point
is found. In quantizing the supergravity, a gauge fixing condition is devised
which explicitly isolates conformal and superconformal modes. The
renormalization of the gravitationally dressed operators is studied and their
anomalous dimensions are computed. Problems to use the dimensional reduction
are also examined.Comment: 36 pages, TIT/HEP-238, Imperial/TP/93-94/
Correlation Functions in Two-Dimensional Dilaton Gravity
The Liouville approach is applied to the quantum treatment of the dilaton
gravity in two dimensions. The physical states are obtained from the BRST
cohomology and correlation functions are computed up to three-point functions.
For the case (i.e., without matter), the cosmological term operator is
found to have the discrete momentum that plays a special role in the
Liouville gravity. The correlation functions for arbitrary numbers of operators
are found in the case, and are nonvanishing only for specific
``chirality'' configurations.Comment: 14 pages, TIT/HEP-204, STUPP-92-13
Conformally invariant supersymmetric field theories on Sp × S1 and super p-branes
We construct supersymmetric field theories on Sp × S1 for p = 1,…,5. These spaces are the boundaries of the anti-de Sitter space in (p + 2)-dimensions. Thesetheories are invariant under the super extension of the anti-de Sitter group in (p + 2)-dimensions, whose bosonic subalgebra is SO(p + 1,2) asterisk in circle SO(N), for N = 1,2,4,8. The anti-de Sitter group SO(p + 1,2) acts as the conformal group on Sp × S1. We conjecture that these theories describe the super p-branes propagating in AdSp + 2 × SN−1. The internal space is always one of the parallelizable spheres, namely S1, S3 or S7
