    It has been applied the arisan card active learning strategy to improve students learning achievement on the subject of Hydrocarbons in class X of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru. The research is an experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The samples of this research were the students of class X5 as the experimental class and the students of class X6 as the control class. They were randomly determined after given the tests of normality and homogeneity. Experimental class is a class which was given a treatment by applying active learning strategy of arisan card in learning process. The data were analyzed by using t-test. Based on the result of data analysis, it obtained tcount> ttable, which is 2,85 >1.67. It means that the application of active learning strategy of arisan card can improve student learning achievement on the subject of Hydrocarbons in class X of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru. The improvement category of student achievement at experiment class was high category with normalized N-gain which is 0,81

    Pemanfaatan Ekstrak Tanaman Ketan Hitam (Oryza Sativa Glutinosa) sebagai Indikator Asam Basa

    Research was conducted with the aims to determine pH range, percentage acid base indicator titration error, and stability of Oryza sativa Glutinosa extract as acid base indicator. Oryza sativa Glutinosa grains respectively extracted with maseration using ethanol (HCl 1%). pH range determined by added the extract into buffer solutions pH 1-9. Percentage acid base indicator titration error determined by applied the extract in strong acid-strong base, weak acid-strong base, strong acid-weak base titration. The stability determined by applied the extract in strong acid- strong base titration for 4 (four) months with interval 1 (one) month. The pH range known at 6-7. Percentage acid base indicator titration error were 0,0714 ± 0,0736 % for strong acid-strong base titration, 0,0495 ± 0,0379% for weak acid- strong base, and 3,5635 ± 1,1621% for strong acid-weak base. The stability of the extract shown by small percentage acid base indicator titration error about 0,0803 ± 0,0416%

    This research was carried out by implementing the cooperative learning model Course Review Horay in order to increase student achievement the subject colloid in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru. The type of this research is experimental research with pretest-postest design. The sample consists of two classes. They are class XI Science 1 as an experimental class and class XI Science 4 as a control class which were decided randomly after doing normality and homogenity test. Experimental class is a class that is applied cooperative learning model Course Review Horay, while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is the t-test.     Research implementation of cooperative learning model of active knowledge sharing aims to achieve mastery learning students on the subject of the reaction rate in class XI state senior high school 1 Gunung toar. his study uses a case study desihn one shot-study case. Time date retrieval from the 1st of November to 17 november 2014. The population is class XI science senior high school 1 gunung toar which consists of one class. The sample is total sample consisting of 1 class. Date were analyzed using classical learning completeness percentage calculation. Data retrieval technique is a technique test. Results of the research showed classical learning completeness 89,29% student attitudes 100% and skills of the students major domains 100%. Concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model of active knowledge sharing can achieve mastery learning students on the subject of the rate of reaction in class XI state senior high school 1 gunung toar Regency kuantan singingi

    Relationship of Transformational Leadership, Organizational Learning and Organizational Performance

    Purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of transformational leadership on organizational performance through the dynamic capabilities of organizational learning in telecom sector of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Structural equation modeling was used to test the research hypotheses. The data was collected through survey questionnaires which were distributed to the employees of telecom sector of KSA. A random sample of 70 employees was used to collect the data. The response rate was 80%. The results reveal that transformational leadership positively influences the organizational performance and learning. The study also confirms existence of positive association between organizational learning and performance. The study is useful for the managers in telecom sector to understand the impact of transformation leaders to enhance learning capabilities of the employees which ultimately increases the performance of the employees in telecom sector.     Quality of life satisfaction among converted Kelantan Chinese Muslims

    This article investigates the quality of life of the Kelantan Chinese Muslim community before and after conversion to Islam, focusing on their level of satisfaction in term of economic aspect. This research was carried out using the sequential explanatory mixed method design involving 75 respondents selected for quantitative and five respondents for qualitative. The sampling method adopted was convenience and snowball samplings. The research data was collected using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The results revealed that respondents were moderately satisfied before conversion and satisfied after conversion. Besides that, there is no significant difference of quality of life before and after conversion to Islam (F = 0.868, p = 0.355) and it was not influenced by the period of conversion to Islam (F = 0.832, p = 0.589). This analysis indicates numerous respondents are still moderately satisfied in their quality of life even though the average data shows they are satisfied after conversion
