    The Effectiveness of Investigation Group Learning Model Based on Marzano's Instructional Framework in Improving Students' Higher Order Thinking Skill

    The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of investigation group learning model based on Marzano’s instructional framework in improving students’ higher order thinking skills. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental method with the matching only control group pretest-posttest design. Here, the data were collected through observations, questionnaires, and tests. The tests consisting of limited and extensive tests aim to analyze the effectiveness of the investigation group learning model based on Marzano’s instructional framework in improving students’ higher order thinking skills. The results of the study showed that the majority of students (>75%) have an increased level of higher order thinking skills (critical and creative thinking skills). It was proved by the results of statistical analysis where the sig. value < 0.05 and t(table) > t(count) .Thus, H0 is rejected meaning that there is a significant difference on students’ higher order thinking skills before and after applying the investigation group learning model based on Marzano’s instructional framework in the teaching and learning process. Then, if it is classified, the improvement of students’ critical and creative thinking skills is included into the medium category. Hence, it can be concluded that the investigation group learning model based on Marzano’s instructional framework is effective in improving students’ higher order thinking skills in social studies learning.     : The title of this research is Increasing Learning Process of social Sciences by Cooperative Model STAD type at Grade 4th Student in SDN 16 Mangkup, Toba, Sanggau. The aim of this research is increasing the learning process, which the teacheris more active in speaking and the student are only listen so has effect to low of students result. From odd semester, from 30 students are only 9 students are completed or 30 %. The method of this research is descriptive, qualitative approach by research planning class action.The subyect of this research is teacher of the class and the 4 th student which total 30students, consists of 17girls and 13 boys. Tehnique that used is observation and direct communication. The tools of data collection are used observation sheets and interview sheets. The result of research is cooperative model planning STAD type that is increased at cycle I 47,5%.At cycle II is increased 74,5% and at cycle III is increased to 90,6%

    This research is aimed to knowing (a) do by using letter card can improve student creativity in recognizing letter form?(b) Do by using letter card can improve student creativity in reading correct pronunciation letter? (c) do by using letter card can improve student creativity in reading syllable ? (d) do by using letter card can improve student activity in reading a sentence? do by using letter card can improve result of students study evaluation? it is because the teacher using only uninteresting teachers guide book and dont use media. It can be seen in reading lesson, student still hasnt recognized the letter and cant read correct pronunciation. The aim of this research is to raise the understanding of reading beginner by using word card. This research using descriptive method and qualitative approach with the design of class behavior research. This design research consist of introduction (first observation), design, action implement, observation, and reflection.Data sources in this research is student in reading learning process by using word card media. First research instrument is the observer herself as a collector data using support instrument such as observation sheet. Data analyze is done by followed data slot analyze consist of collecting data, data reduction, giving data, and problem solving. The result of reading action implement by using word card media in every its cycle always increase. In first cycle the rate of succeed up to 64%. For the second cycle the rate of succeed up to 84,57%. It is showing that Indonesia learning uses card media can improve understanding begin reading for the first grade SDN 14 Teraju Toba, Sanggau

    The general purpose of this research is to improve the learners' learning activities using mathematical approach realisitic in fourth grade at SDN 34 Pontianak Kota. This research was conducted by 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The results obtained are the ability of teacher to implement the learning, in the first cycle APKG total score is 17.17 or 3.43, and the mean total score of the second cycle increased to 18.92 or the average increased to 3.78. While the ability of teacher to implement the learning, in the first cycle APKG total score is 10.97 or the average is 3.66 and the mean total score of the second cycle increased to 11,75 or the average is 3,92. The average result or student learning activities in the first cycle is 53.98% increased to 81.90% in the second cycle. While the average student learning outcomes in the first cycle is increased to 71.85 and 89.91 in the second cycle
