    Pentingnya tingkat pendidikan dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai adalah untuk mengoptimalkan dan memaksimalkan kinerja organisasi hingga bisa mencapai dan mengelolah tujuan dari organisasi tersebut, kompensasi tersebut bertujuan untuk memberikan motivasi dan menambah kinerja dari para pegawai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pribadi. Tugas dari dinas kesehatan untuk membantuh gubernur dalam bidang kesehatan, maka dari itu tingkat pendidikan di dinas kesehatan harus lebih di optimalkan, dan diperlukan dukungan kompensasi untuk menambah semangat kerja dari para pegawai tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh tingkat pendidikan dan kompensasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara.Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner ini dibagikan kepada pegawai yang bekerja pada Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Sampel yang di ambil berjumlah 62 pegawai. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat pendidikan berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara, sedangkan kompensasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai pada Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara

    Keberhasilan suatu Perusahaan tergantung dari kualitas sumber daya manusia yang berada didalamnya.Oleh karena itu, Perusahaan berusaha meningkatkan kinerja karyawannya agar lebih terampil dan berkompetensi tinggi dalam bidangnya, agar Perusahaan dapat memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada konsumen dan dapat memberikan kinerja yang optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Pendidikan, Pengalaman Kerja, dan Kompetensi berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) wilayah Suluttengo. Metode yang digunakan asosiatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 168 dan sampel yang digunakan 70 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Pendidikan, Pengalaman Kerja, dan Kompetensi berpengaruh baik secara simultan maupun parsial terhadap Kinerja Karyawan. Sebaiknya pimpinan PT. PLN (Persero) Suluttenggo memperhatikan pendidikan, pengalaman kerja dan kompetensi karyawan karena memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerjanya serta untuk mencapai tujuan Perusahaannya.     ABSTRACT EFFECT OF THE ADDITION OF RICE BRAN AND CORN FLOUR ON THE PHYSICAL QUALITY OF ENSILAGE ELEPHANT GRASS (Pennisetum purpureumcv.Hawaii). The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the addition of rice bran and corn flour on the physical quality of elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Hawaii)silage.The present study used elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Hawaii)in the ensilage process. Rice bran and corn flour were then added to the elephant grass in the ensilage processing. The present study used Completely Randomized Design with 7 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments were formulated as follow: R0 = elephant grass 100%; R1 = elephant grass + 8% rice bran; R2 = elephant grass + 12% rice bran; R3 = elephant grass + 8% corn flour; R4 = elephant grass + 12% corn flour; R5 = elephant grass + 4% rice bran + 4% corn flour; R6 = elephantgrass + 6% rice bran + 6% corn flour. The variables measured were physical quality of elephant grass silage, including:  texture, color, and aroma. The research results showed that the addition of rice bran and corn flour did not significantly affect (P>0,01) ensilage color and aroma, but significantly affect (P<0,01) the texture of the ensilage. It can be concluded that the addition of  8% rice bran gave the best result on theensilage textureof elephant grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Hawaii).     Baryons in Holographic QCD

    We study the baryon in holographic QCD with D4/D8/D8ˉD4/D8/\bar{D8} multi-DD brane system. In holographic QCD, the baryon appears as a topologically non-trivial chiral soliton in a four-dimensional effective theory of mesons. We call this topological soliton as Brane-induced Skyrmion. Some review of D4/D8/D8ˉD4/D8/\bar{D8} holographic QCD is presented from the viewpoints of recent hadron physics and phenomenologies. Four-dimensional effective theory with pions and ρ\rho mesons is uniquely derived from the non-abelian Dirac-Born-Infeld (DBI) action of D8D8 brane with D4D4 supergravity background, without small amplitude expansion of meson fields to discuss chiral solitons. For the hedgehog configuration of pion and ρ\rho-meson fields, we derive the energy functional and the Euler-Lagrange equation of Brane-induced Skyrmion from the meson effective action induced by holographic QCD. Performing the numerical calculation, we obtain the pion profile F(r)F(r) and the ρ\rho-meson profile G(r)G(r) of the Brane-induced Skyrmion, and estimate its total energy, energy density distribution, and root-mean-square radius. These results are compared with the experimental quantities of baryons and also with the profiles of standard Skyrmion without ρ\rho mesons. We analyze interaction terms of pions and ρ\rho mesons in Brane-induced Skyrmion, and consider the role of ρ\rho-meson component appearing in baryons.Comment: 28 pages, 11 figure

    Holographic chiral magnetic spiral

    We study the ground state of baryonic/axial matter at zero temperature chiral-symmetry broken phase under a large magnetic field, in the framework of holographic QCD by Sakai-Sugimoto. Our study is motivated by a recent proposal of chiral magnetic spiral phase that has been argued to be favored against previously studied phase of homogeneous distribution of axial/baryonic currents in terms of meson super-currents dictated by triangle anomalies in QCD. Our results provide an existence proof of chiral magnetic spiral in strong coupling regime via holography, at least for large axial chemical potentials, whereas we don't find the phenomenon in the case of purely baryonic chemical potential.Comment: 24 pages, 15 figure

    The PIAS-like Coactivator Zmiz1 Is a Direct and Selective Cofactor of Notch1 in T Cell Development and Leukemia

    SummaryPan-NOTCH inhibitors are poorly tolerated in clinical trials because NOTCH signals are crucial for intestinal homeostasis. These inhibitors might also promote cancer because NOTCH can act as a tumor suppressor. We previously reported that the PIAS-like coactivator ZMIZ1 is frequently co-expressed with activated NOTCH1 in T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL). Here, we show that similar to Notch1, Zmiz1 was important for T cell development and controlled the expression of certain Notch target genes, such as Myc. However, unlike Notch, Zmiz1 had no major role in intestinal homeostasis or myeloid suppression. Deletion of Zmiz1 impaired the initiation and maintenance of Notch-induced T-ALL. Zmiz1 directly interacted with Notch1 via a tetratricopeptide repeat domain at a special class of Notch-regulatory sites. In contrast to the Notch cofactor Maml, which is nonselective, Zmiz1 was selective. Thus, targeting the NOTCH1-ZMIZ1 interaction might combat leukemic growth while avoiding the intolerable toxicities of NOTCH inhibitors
