Pengaruh Kepemilikan Manajerial, Kebijakan Hutang, Profitabilitas, Ukuran Perusahaan dan Investment Opportunity Set terhadap Kebijakan Dividen pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di Bei Tahun 2011-2013

The purpose of this research were to analyze the influence of managerial ownership, debt policy, profitability, firm size and investment opportunity set on dividend policy on manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange for period 2011 until 2013. This study used purposive sampling technique and the final sample that has chosen is 16 manufacturing companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Analysis technique of the data used was multiple linier regression with SPSS. The result of this research, shows that managerial ownership, debt policy, profitability, firm size and investment opportunity set have positive and significant influence on dividend policy on manufacturing company listed in Indonesian stock exchage. Partially, managerial ownership, debt policy and profitability have positive and significant influence on dividend policy, but firm size and investment opportunity set have no effect on dividend policy. The influence of managerial ownership, debt policy, profitability, firm size and investment opportunity set are about 25.3% and 74.7% are impacted by other variables.Keywords: Managerial Ownership, Debt Policy, Profitability, Firm Size, Investment Opportunity Set, Dividend Policy

Gabapentin for pain management after osmotic dilator insertion and prior to dilation and evacuation: A randomized controlled trial.

ObjectiveTo evaluate if gabapentin 600 mg reduces pain after osmotic dilator placement the day before a dilation and evacuation (D&E) procedure.Study designWe conducted a double-blind, placebo-controlled, randomized (stratified by vaginal parity) trial among women undergoing osmotic dilator placement before D&E at 15-23 5/7 weeks gestation. Subjects received gabapentin 600 mg or placebo 30 min before dilator placement, with re-dosing 8 h later. We assessed pain after dilator placement using a numeric rating scale (NRS; scale 0-10) at 5 min, 2, 4, and 8 h, and at presentation for D&E. The primary outcome was median NRS pain score change from baseline to 8 h after dilator placement. Secondary outcomes included gabapentin-related side effects and analgesic use.ResultsOf 121 randomized women, we excluded three subjects (allergic reaction [placebo], randomization error, no NRS data), leaving 60 gabapentin and 58 placebo subjects. Of 110 (93%) women who provided 8-hour data, median pain score changes from baseline did not differ between gabapentin and placebo groups overall (2 vs. 2.5, p = 0.52), in vaginally nulliparous women (2 vs. 4, p = 0.10) or in parous women (2 vs. 1.5, p = 0.37). We found no statistically significant differences in median pain score change from baseline to any timepoint overall or when stratified by parity. Beginning at 2 h after dilator placement, more gabapentin than placebo users experienced dizziness (29/53[55%] vs. 11/53[21%], p = 0.001) and tiredness (34/54[63%] vs. 17/54[31%], p = 0.002). The proportion of women using narcotics did not differ between gabapentin (35/60[58%]) or placebo (40/58[69%]) users (p = 0.26).ConclusionsGabapentin does not reduce pain with overnight osmotic dilator placement prior to D&E and causes drug-related side effects.Implications statementWomen experience pain, mostly mild to moderate, with overnight cervical dilator placement at 15-23 5/7 weeks gestation. About 2/3 of women will use a limited quantity of narcotics if provided. Gabapentin does not decrease the pain with or following dilator placement and does not decrease narcotic use

Our Stories: A Woman, A Teenager, A Single Mother: Psychological Well-being of a Single Mother Adolescents

The purpose of this study was to determine the psychological well-being of single mother adolescents. The research method used is qualitative research with a descriptive approach and data collection in the form of interviews. Participants in this study were 3 single mother adolescents with the following characteristics: a) single mother adolescents, b) aged 11-21 years, c) residing in Kupang City. The data analysis technique used in this research is data analysis technique before in the field, during in the field, and after in the field using the Miles and Huberman (1984) model. The results showed that the three teenage single mothers were psychologically prosperous based on the fulfillment of six dimensions of psychological well-being, namely self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, environmental control, life goals, and self-development

Beta Rasa: Emotion Regulation Program to Reduce Young Offenders Anxiety in LPKA Kupang

. Anxiety is one of the emotional problems experienced by young offenders in LPKA (Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak/Juvenile Detention Center) Kupang and this condition has a negative impact on their rehabilitation process. The condition requires psychological intervention. This research aimed to understand the impact of the Beta Rasa Program in reducing anxiety. Beta Rasa Program focuses on improving young offender’s emotional regulation ability. This research was a quasi-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. In total, there were 20 young offenders participating in this program for 4 sessions. Paired sample t-test was used to analyze data in this research. Young offender’s anxiety was measured by Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI). The research showed a significant decrease in young offenders’ anxiety (t = 2.116, p = 0.02) after they joined Beta Rasa Program. The effect size of this program was 0.41. The result indicates that Beta Rasa Program has a moderate effect to reduce anxiety

The Effect of Religiosity on Juvenile Delinquency in Maulafa Village

Adolescence can be said to be a time of strom and stress, so that it make  adolescents easily to change, volatile and erratic. Juvenile delinquency is a behavior that includes driving/vehicle, Alcohol, Theft, Cheat, Disturb, Fight, Drugs and media that violate the rules. one of the factors the influence juvenile delinuency is religiosity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of religiosity on juvenile delinquency in RT 027 RW 010 Maulafa Village Kecamatan District. The hypothesis in this study is the effect of religiosity on juvenile delinquency in RT 027 RW 010 Maulafa Village Kecamatan District. The research participants were teenagers RT 027 RW 010, Maulafa Village, Kecamatan District. in this study using simple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that product moment correlation of 0,516 is greater than the r table (n=80) at 0,220 with a significaant level of 5%, then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected so that there is a signifficant effect on variable X and variable Y

Relationship Between Neuroticism Type Of Personality Academic Procrastination In Dawan's Ethnic Students In The District Of South Central Timor

This study aims to find the relationship between neuroticism personality types and academic procrastination among ethnic Dawan students in South Central Timor Regency. This type of research is quantitative research. The population was students of the STKIP Soe with Dawan ethnicity who were taken based on predetermined criteria, while the sampling used was accidental sampling on 85 students Dawan ethnicity. Procrastination is a deliberate delay in an important task, done repeatedly on purpose and causes feelings of discomfort in a subjective way. Subjective cultural stereotypes to the East Timorese ethnic group, the people are anxious, jealous, believe in myths, and selfish. Such stereotypical traits can generally be observed in people with the neurotic personality type. Data were collected using a scale and processed and analyzed using the Pearson Product Moment correlation statistical test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between the Neuroticism personality type and Academic Procrastination where the Pearson Coorelation value = 0.238 with a significance value of 0.029 (ƿ <0.05
