A Survey of Customer Service System Based on Learning

    Get PDF
With the rapid development of artificial intelligence, people have moved from manual customer service to handling affairs, and now they are more inclined to use intelligent customer service systems. The intelligent customer service system is generally a chat robot based on natural language processing, and it is a dialogue system. Therefore, it plays a vital role in many fields, especially in the field of e-commerce. In this article, to help researchers further study the customer service system for e-commerce, we survey the learning-based methods in dialogue understanding, dialogue management and dialogue response generation in the customer service system. In particular, we compare the advantages and disadvantages of these methods and pointed out further research directions

Conceal an entrance by means of superscatterer

By using the novel property of the rectangular superscatterer, we propose a design which can conceal an entrance from electromagnetic wave detection. Such a superscatterer is realized by coating a negative index material shell on a perfect electrical conductor rectangle cylinder. The results are numerically confirmed by full-wave simulations both in the far-field and near-field.Comment: 10 pages, 4 figure

Automatic Help System with Voice Input for Passengers of Drop Taxi

With the changes of the times and the advancement of science, there are more and more cars around us. Cars bring great convenience to people\u27s lives, such as drop taxis can be on call, cheaper and convenient. However, in recent years, there have been many incidents of female passengers being killed by drop taxi drivers, which has resulted in many female compatriots not being safely out of the country. This motivated us to develop artificial intelligence systems using voice input to identify crime tendency of taxi drivers. The system we developed uses the keyword input technology of voice input. Specifically, we first build up the keyword library of criminal tendencies based on similar cases reported in news. Then we present the details of how our system recognizes the crime tendency of a driver through what he talked with a female passenger. Finally, we explain how the system automatically takes the corresponding warning or send out help signal to police officers after it identifies a driver has a criminal tendency

An Empirical Analysis of Consumer Impulse Purchases

In China, shopping festivals such as T-mall Double Eleven, Double Twelve, and JD 618 are the best times for merchants to sell their products. In this paper, to help sellers in shopping festivals, we do an empirical study to identify the main factors that stimulate consumers to make impulsive purchases. Our research results show: (1) logistics services, product praise rate, and product sales volume indirectly affect impulse buying through perceived value as an intermediary; (2) source reliability, pre-sales service, and after-sales service indirectly affect impulse purchase through perceived risk as an intermediary; and (3) commodity prices and product discounts directly affect impulse purchase

    An Irrationally Rational Game Model

    Get PDF
In the application of game theory into the scenario of selling and buying a product in real life, sellers and buyers concern not only the acquisition utility of the good but also the transaction utility. To this end, in this paper we develop a game model with payoff matrix of aggregating transaction utility and acquisition utility, where we set the perceived transaction utility of a customer according to prospect theory. Moreover, we also study how the equilibrium of a game of this kind is influenced by some irrational factors that can be reflected by transaction utility. Finally, we use our model explain why online promotion selling in Tmall.com on Singlesā€™ Day is so successful in China

Supply groove effects on characteristics of squeeze film damper

    Get PDF
Variation of film pressure was studied by short bearing hypothesis and differential method for grooving on film inner-face. The results were compared with those of FLUENT analysis. Then, effects of the position of groove were studied on film pressure and damping through differential method. The results shown that short bearing hypothesis cannot conform to the actual situation considering grooving. The effect of grooving on the pressure distribution of film was researched by differential method, and the results are consistent with the FLUENT simulation analysis. Side grooving has less effect on film pressure and damping, so it is recommended when the design and assembly conditions are allowed

KEMNAD: A Knowledge Engineering Methodology for Negotiating Agent Development

    Get PDF
Automated negotiation is widely applied in various domains. However, the development of such systems is a complex knowledge and software engineering task. So, a methodology there will be helpful. Unfortunately, none of existing methodologies can offer sufficient, detailed support for such system development. To remove this limitation, this paper develops a new methodology made up of: (1) a generic framework (architectural pattern) for the main task, and (2) a library of modular and reusable design pattern (templates) of subtasks. Thus, it is much easier to build a negotiating agent by assembling these standardised components rather than reinventing the wheel each time. Moreover, since these patterns are identified from a wide variety of existing negotiating agents(especially high impact ones), they can also improve the quality of the final systems developed. In addition, our methodology reveals what types of domain knowledge need to be input into the negotiating agents. This in turn provides a basis for developing techniques to acquire the domain knowledge from human users. This is important because negotiation agents act faithfully on the behalf of their human users and thus the relevant domain knowledge must be acquired from the human users. Finally, our methodology is validated with one high impact system
