SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF MONOFUNCTIONAL BENZOXAZINE FROM CARDANOL

A novel thermoplastic polybenzoxazine was synthesized based on agrochemical renewable cardanol–a by–product of cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL). A solventless synthesis of monofunctional benzoxazine monomer based on cardanol, aniline and paraformaldehyde was carried out. The liquid benzoxazine monomer was characterized by 1HNMR and FTIR spectroscopy. Curing characteristics at different temperatures were studied and monitored by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC). The appearance of two exothermic peaks associated with reaction of double bonds of the aliphatic side–chain and ring opening polymerization of benzoxazine. High thermal stability of the polymer sample was confirmed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA)

Singularni i egzaktno rješivi potencijali

The potentials involving singularities considered in this work result from the construction starting with higher-order-generation superpotentials. The second generation with a single base as well as the third one with a double base will be discussed. According to the choice of these bases, a number of results, which may be interesting from the theoretical point of view, can be observed such as the partial breaking of the symmetry or the construction of a new type of exactly solvable potentials which show existence of eigenstates with positive eigenvalues. Extension to the third generation potential of the theorem on quasi-exact solvability will also be discussed.Potencijali sa singularnostima koji se razmatraju u ovom radu slijede iz postavki za generacije superpotencijala višeg reda. Raspravlja se druga generacija s jednom osnovicom i treća generacija s dvije osnovice. Ovisno o odabiru osnovica, nalazi se niz rezultata koji mogu biti zanimljivi sa stanovišta teorije, kao djelomično kršenje simetrije ili postavka nove vrste egzaktno rješivih potencijala koji pokazuju postojanje svojstvenih stanja s pozitivnim svojstvenim vrijednostima. SIMILARITIES IN THE THOUGHTS ON EDUCATION OF PHAN CHAU TRINH AND FUKUZAWA YUKICHI

Phan Chau Trinh (1872-1926) and Fukuzawa Yukichi (1834-1901) are prominent thinkers who advocated the reform in Vietnam and Japan, respectively, in the context of both the East and the West had lots of changes in terms of historical and social situation in the second half of 19th century and first half of 20th century. In their life, each left many valuable thoughts to the archive of arguments of their respective country. One of the prominent thoughts of theirs is the thought on education. This was expressed in a rich and unique way in many aspects, such as: the role of education, the subject of education, purposes of education, contents of education, methods of education, etc. It can be seen that, although they took different directions to approach and explain issues relating to education and the influence of education on social development of each respective country, their thoughts on education still had interesting similarities.
