Naichang Xu and Yubao Shen's fan calligraphy - 徐乃昌暨沈瑜寶扇面書法

Xiu Naichang, known as Jiyu (courtesy name) and Sui-an (pseudonym), was born in Anhui, China. Xiu was a renowned expert in block-printing. He was also well-known for his collection of seals and block-printed books.徐乃昌，字積餘，號隨庵，安徽人。著名的刻書家。收藏豐富金石和刻書。1) Mountain ridges with dense forests are like protective screens lying across the sky. Tall peaks rise straight up from the clouds. Bamboo forests grow luxuriantly in every inch of available space. Clouds seem to make sounds while floating over the mountains. 2) The person who organized all instruments into eight categories thought that bells were more important than qing (musical stone). The person who evaluated all kinds of music schools thought that the beats of Jia (a reed instrument ) could continue the inheritance of the Sao-style poems (a verse-type style).
