The governance of modern vocational education’s teaching quality is regarded as a unity of value orientation for the value goal of variants-mixed teaching quality , the value judgment of multi-direction-accreting teaching quality governance, and the value choice of multi-dimension-integrated teaching quality governance. Respectively, they are demonstrated as a variants-mixed target system of quality governance featuring results, efficiency, benefits, efficacy and effects; an advantage integration conforming to needs, purposes, standards, and development nature re

Concentrating solar assisted biomass-to-fuel conversion through gasification: A review

Solar energy, the most abundant and exploitable renewable energy resource, is regarded as a major energy source for the future. Nevertheless, solar irradiation is characterized by relatively low energy density, intermittency and uneven distribution. Storage of solar energy for usage during non-solar times is required to match supply and demand rates in today’s society. In this context, the application of solar energy for converting into storable, transportable, and energy-dense fuels (i.e., solar fuels) is an attractive option, with the advantage of contributing to promoting the commercialization of solar power technologies. Solar assisted biomass gasification is a promising pathway to produce solar fuels. With concentrated solar energy providing reaction heat, carbonaceous materials can be converted to high grade syngas, which could be further synthesized into useful hydrocarbon fuels. In such process, solar energy is stored in a chemical form, with solar spectrum fully utilized. Compared with autothermal biomass gasification, the usage of high-flux concentrated solar radiation to drive endothermic gasification reactions improves energy efficiencies, saves biomass feedstocks, and is relatively free of combustion by-products. This review presents a comprehensive summary of solar assisted biomass gasification, including concentrating solar technology, fundamentals of solar biomass gasification, state-of-the-art solar gasifier designs, strategies for solar intermittence management, and downstream applications

Role of transcription factors in porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus infection: A review

Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) is an infectious disease caused by the PRRS virus that leads to reproductive disorders and severe dyspnoea in pigs, which has serious economic impacts. One of the reasons PRRSV cannot be effectively controlled is that it has developed countermeasures against the host immune response, allowing it to survive and replicate for long periods. Transcription Factors acts as a bridge in the interactions between the host and PRRSV. PRRSV can create an environment conducive to PRRSV replication through transcription factors acting on miRNAs, inflammatory factors, and immune cells. Conversely, some transcription factors also inhibit PRRSV proliferation in the host. In this review, we systematically described how PRRSV uses host transcription factors such as SP1, CEBPB, STATs, and AP-1 to escape the host immune system. Determining the role of transcription factors in immune evasion and understanding the pathogenesis of PRRSV will help to develop new treatments for PRRSV

USP18 restricts PRRSV growth through alteration of nuclear translocation of NF-κB p65 and p50 in MARC-145 cells

AbstractAlthough the functions of porcine respiratory and reproductive syndrome virus (PRRSV) proteins are increasingly understood, the roles of host factors in modifying infection are less well understood. Growing evidence places deubiquitination at the core of a multitude of regulatory processes, ranging from cell growth to innate immune response and health, such as cancer, degenerative and infectious diseases. This report provides further information on the functional role of the porcine ubiquitin-specific peptidase 18 (USP18) during innate immune responses to PRRSV. We have shown that constitutive overexpression of the porcine USP18 in MARC-145 cells restricts PRRSV growth, at least in part via early activation of NF-κB. Viral growth of PRRSV may be perturbed by increasing and decreasing nuclear translocation of p65 and p50, respectively. Our data highlight USP18 as a host restriction factor during innate immune response to PRRSV

Microarray-Based Approach Identifies Differentially Expressed MicroRNAs in Porcine Sexually Immature and Mature Testes

MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short non-coding RNA molecules which are proved to be involved in mammalian spermatogenesis. Their expression and function in the porcine germ cells are not fully understood. We employed a miRNA microarray containing 1260 unique miRNA probes to evaluate the miRNA expression patterns between sexually immature (60-day) and mature (180-day) pig testes. One hundred and twenty nine miRNAs representing 164 reporter miRNAs were expressed differently (p<0.1). Fifty one miRNAs were significantly up-regulated and 78 miRNAs were down-regulated in mature testes. Nine of these differentially expressed miRNAs were validated using quantitative RT-PCR assay. Totally 15,919 putative miRNA-target sites were detected by using RNA22 method to align 445 NCBI pig cDNA sequences with these 129 differentially expressed miRNAs, and seven putative target genes involved in spermatogenesis including DAZL, RNF4 gene were simply confirmed by quantitative RT-PCR.Overall, the results of this study indicated specific miRNAs expression in porcine testes and suggested that miRNAs had a role in regulating spermatogenesis

Challenges faced by acute care surgeons in China

Abstract The aim of this article is to describe briefly about Chinese ACS surgeons’ work status. It is an undeniable fact that the analysis of ED and ACS resources shows negative tendencies and high work overload, resulting in low patient safety and quality of care. And, there was a substantial shortage of surgeons in the subspecialty. So, a set of strategic measures and state policies should be prioritized

GAN-SAE based fault diagnosis method for electrically driven feed pumps.

The running of high-speed electrically driven feed pump has a direct impact on the safety of personnel equipment and economic benefits of power plant, as the result, intelligent condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of electrically driven feed pump becomes an urgent need. In the practical process of electrically driven feed pump fault diagnosis, the running of the equipment is in normal state for a long time, occasionally, with faults, which makes the fault data very rare in a large number of monitoring data, and makes it difficult to extract the internal fault features behind the original time series data, When the deep learning theory is used in practice, the imbalance between the fault data and the normal data occurs in the operation data set. In order to solve the problem of data imbalance, this paper proposes a fault diagnosis method of GAN-SAE. This method first makes compensation for the imbalance of sample data based on the Generative Adversarial Network (GAN), and then uses the Stacked Auto Encoder (SAE) method to extract the signal features. By designing the fault diagnosis program, compared with only using SAE, back propagation neural networks (BP) and multi-hidden layer neural networks(MNN) method, the GAN-SAE method can offer better capability of extracting features, and the accuracy of fault diagnosis of electrically driven feed pump could be improved to 98.89%
