    Charged BTZ-like black hole solutions and the diffusivity-butterfly velocity relation

    We show that there exists a class of charged BTZ-like black hole solutions in Lifshitz spacetime with a hyperscaling violating factor. The charged BTZ is characterized by a charge-dependent logarithmic term in the metric function. As concrete examples, we give five such charged BTZ-like black hole solutions and the standard charged BTZ metric can be regarded as a special instance of them. In order to check the recent proposed universal relations between diffusivity and the butterfly velocity, we first compute the diffusion constants of the standard charged BTZ black holes and then extend our calculation to arbitrary dimension dd, exponents zz and θ\theta. Remarkably, the case d=θd=\theta and z=2z=2 is a very special in that the charge diffusion DcD_c is a constant and the energy diffusion DeD_e might be ill-defined, but vB2τv^2_B\tau diverges. We also compute the diffusion constants for the case that the DC conductivity is finite but in the absence of momentum relaxation.Comment: 30 pages, 2 figure

    Time series forecasting and SVM are widely used in many domains, for example, smart city and digital services. Focusing on SVM related time series forecasting model, in this paper we empirical investigate the performance of eight linear combination techniques by using M3 competition dataset which includes 3003 time series. The results reveals that the “forecast combination puzzle” is not exist for combining SVM related forecasting model as the simple average is almost the worst combination technique

    Composite Rotor Blade Design Optimization for Vibration Reduction with Aeroelastic Constraints

    AbstractThe paper presents an analytical study of the helicopter rotor vibratory load reduction design optimization with aeroelastic stability constraints. The composite rotor blade is modeled by beam type finite elements, and warping deformation is taken into consideration for 2 dimension analysis, while the one-dimension nonlinear differential equations of blade motion are formulated via Hamilton's principle. The rotor hub vibratory loads is chosen as the objective function, while rotor blade section construction parameter, composite material ply structure and blade tip swept angle as the design variables, and autorotation inertia, natural frequency and aeroelastic stability as the constraints. A 3 bladed rotor is designed, as an example, based on the vibratory hub load reduction optimization process with swept tip angle and composite material. The calculating results show a 24. 9%-33% reduction of 3/rev hub loads in comparison with the base-line rotor

    Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) is a high-risk signal of acute ischemic cerebrovascular disease, indicates a significant increase in the risk of ischemic stroke, especially within 7 days. Risk assessment and stratification are important in patient with TIA. A variety of simple prediction scales were developed based on the risk factors for stroke in patients with TIA, such as the California scale, ABCD scale, and ABCD2 scale. Among them, the ABCD scale score is used most commonly, but as its application becomes more and more common, the defects of this scale are also increasingly apparent. In recent years, some derived scales of ABCD score were introduced in order to improve the sensitivity and specificity of prediction. This article reviews the evolution, contents, characteristics, and predictive value of the ABCD score and its derived scales in the prediction of the stroke risk in patients with TIA

    DEFB1 rs11362 Polymorphism and Risk of Chronic Periodontitis: A Meta-Analysis of Unadjusted and Adjusted Data

    Objective: Chronic periodontitis (CP) is a growing problem that affects the worldwide population, having significant impacts on people's daily lives and economic development. Genetics is an important component in the determination of individual susceptibility to periodontal diseases. Numerous studies have been performed to investigate the association between beta defensin 1 (DEFB1) rs11362 polymorphism and risk of CP, but the results are still inconclusive. Therefore, we conducted this meta-analysis to ascertain whether this variation in DEFB1 is associated with CP susceptibility.Methods: The relevant studies were searched in PubMed and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) databases up to January 9, 2018. Two independent authors selected citations and extracted the data from eligible studies. Odds ratios (ORs) with their 95% confidence intervals (95% CIs) were used to assess the strength of the association.Results: Seven case-control studies were included in this meta-analysis. Based on unadjusted data, there was no obvious association between DEFB1 rs11362 polymorphism and CP risk in all genetic models (A vs. G: OR = 0.86, 95%CI = 0.61–1.20; AA vs. GG: OR = 0.83, 95% CI = 00.50–1.39; AG vs. GG: OR = 1.01, 95%CI = 0.73–1.39; AG+AA vs. GG: OR = 0.91, 95% CI = 00.74–1.11; and AA vs. AG+GG: OR = 0.83, 95% CI = 00.57–1.21); the results of adjusted data also showed no significant relationship. Subgroup analyses based on ethnicity, participants' smoking status, HWE in controls and severity of CP all revealed similar results to that of the overall analysis. Sensitivity analysis indicated the results were robust and no evidence of publication bias was found.Conclusions: Our meta-analysis suggests that DEFB1 rs11362 polymorphism may not have an important effect on the risk of CP. Further large-scale and well-designed studies are necessary to validate our conclusion in the future
