Analysing and attacking the 4-way handshake of IEEE 802.11i standard
The IEEE 802.11i standard has been designed to enhance security in wireless networks. In the 4-way handshake the supplicant and the authenticator use the pairwise master key (PMK) to derive a fresh pairwise transient key (PTK). The PMK is not used directly for security while assuming the supplicant and authenticator have the same PMK before running 4-way handshake. In this paper, the 4-way handshake phase has been analysed using Isabelle tool to identify a new Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack. The attack prevents the authenticator from receiving message 4 after the supplicant sends it out. This attack forces the authenticator to re-send the message 3 until time out and subsequently to de-authenticate supplicant. This paper has proposed improvements to the 4-way handshake to avoid the Denial-of-Service attack
Quantum transport through double-dot Aharonov-Bohm interferometry in Coulomb blockade regime
Transport through two quantum dots laterally embedded in Aharonov-Bohm
interferometry with infinite intradot and arbitrary interdot Coulomb repulsion
is analyzed in the weak coupling and Coulomb blockade regime. By employing the
modified quantum rate equations and the slave-boson approach, we establish a
general dc current formula at temperatures higher than the Kondo temperature
for the case that the spin degenerate levels of two dots are close to each
other. We examine two simple examples for identical dots - no doubly occupied
states and no empty state. In the former, completely destructive coherent
transport and phase locking appear at magnetic flux and
respectively; in the latter, partially coherent transport exhibits an

A Class of Coupled KdV systems and Their Bi-Hamiltonian Formulations
A Hamiltonian pair with arbitrary constants is proposed and thus a sort of
hereditary operators is resulted. All the corresponding systems of evolution
equations possess local bi-Hamiltonian formulation and a special choice of the

Effect of polymer concentration and length of hydrophobic end block on the unimer-micelle transition broadness in amphiphilic ABA symmetric triblock copolymer solutions
The effects of the length of each hydrophobic end block N_{st} and polymer
concentration \bar{\phi}_{P} on the transition broadness in amphiphilic ABA
symmetric triblock copolymer solutions are studied using the self-consistent
field lattice model. When the system is cooled, micelles are observed, i.e.,the
homogenous solution (unimer)-micelle transition occurs. When N_{st} is
increased, at fixed \bar{\phi}_{P}, micelles occur at higher temperature, and
the temperature-dependent range of micellar aggregation and half-width of
specific heat peak for unimer-micelle transition increase monotonously.
Compared with associative polymers, it is found that the magnitude of the
transition broadness is determined by the ratio of hydrophobic to hydrophilic
blocks, instead of chain length. When \bar{\phi}_{P} is decreased, given a
large N_{st}, the temperature-dependent range of micellar aggregation and
half-width of specific heat peak initially decease, and then remain nearly
constant. It is shown that the transition broadness is concerned with the
changes of the relative magnitudes of the eductions of nonstickers and solvents
