The title compound, C18H16N2, crystallizes with one and a half independent mol­ecules in the asymmetric unit, with the half-mol­ecule being completed by crystallographic inversion symmetry. Both independent mol­ecules are almost planar, with the non-H atoms exhibiting r.m.s. deviations from the least-squares mol­ecular plane of 0.175 and 0.118 Å, respectively

This work tests the action of microalgae at different concentrations on the postlarval growth rate of the abalone Ealiotis tuberaulata from the creeping stage to 60 days,. depending with different kinds of water during the breeding (running water, closed, system, still water). The growth's curves are ajusted with an exponential function. These data were adapted to an experimental hatchery with a view to a big scale production.Cette étude porte sur l'action du régime alimentaire d'algues unicellulaires sur la croissance post-larvaire de l'ormeau Ealiotis tuberaulata de la fixation jusqu 'à 60 jours, en fonction de différents types d'élevage (circuit ouvert, circuit fermé, eau stagnante). Les courbes de croissance obtenues en fonction de ces différents paramètres sont ajustées à une fonction exponentielle L = a.ebt. Ces résultats ont été adaptés à une production à grande échelle dans le cadre d'une écloserie expérimental
