    The wedding party for the Javanese community is the main event from a series of the wedding events. The wedding reception was held twice in the Javanese community. The reception was held by female (bride) family and male (groom) family. Every event of the wedding has a different ceremonial procession. The purpose of this study was to determine the form of behavioral changes in the Javanese community in organizing wedding receptions or party and the factors which influence the organization of the wedding reception. The subject of this study is Javanese society in Surakarta. This study was descriptive qualitative study and analyzed using behavioral sociological theory by BF Skinner and adapted theory by Robert K. Merton. The data collection in this study was used observation techniques involving 26 informants. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data analysis technique used was an interactive analysis technique that consists of three components. Those are data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of the study showed that there has been a change in the implementation of a traditional wedding reception in Javanese society. The changes are the result of the adjustment between the old traditions of Javanese culture and modern changes. The changes cannot be separated from the role of couple\u27s parents as organizers. The parent\u27s decisions in this event is a part of the parent\u27s response from the surrounding influences. The adjustments in organizing the reception is due to several factors including the change of parents\u27s mindset, the influence of the environment and others. The changes of series of processions in the wedding ceremony is a proof that Javanese society always changes following the times

    Appropriate counseling and education can be adopted to achieve a change in attitude, knowledge and perception. Still there is a wrong perception of a given intervention. Peer support through a process of social learning, the process of growing understanding of how to process information from experience, observational include: attention (attention), given (retention), reproduction of motion (reproduction), motivation (motivation), and communication. The purpose of this study was to analyze resident self-efficacy to regardless of drug addiction through family support. This study employed qualitative approach with case study design. Subjects in this study were residents, ex drugs user, peer support, and resident family. The results showed that peer support from fellow residents and the support of the major on duty (MOD) very meaningful and helpful for resident in the healing process

    Indonesia is an archipelago with vast geographical area and a very diverse culture. Cultural diversity can be seen physically that could be seen from a variety of language, traditional clothing, traditional foods, traditional ceremony, art owned by their respective regions. Almost every province in Indonesia has its cultural diversity, respectively. But along with the times,the people get carried away by globalization and customs began to forget the legacy of their ancestors.Along with the development of the mobile game industry at the moment, the game is now not only serve as entertainment games but games can be used to study media interest, one of which is learning about Indonesian culture. In this study developed an game E-Budi (Edukasi Budaya Indonesia) that was developed using the Android platform, where players will be given the questions about the culture of Indonesia, which is a question that will take the form of words, a video piece, piece mp3, so as to provide information about the Indonesian culture very clearly. Hopefully with the presence of this educational game will better understand and appreciate the diversity of cultures that exist in Indonesia

    Factors Associated with Exercise Among Elderly in Boyolali, Indonesia

    Background: The elderly will face more problems by getting older. One of which is degenerative disease due to of aging process, such as cardiovascular disease. In the year 2001 (SKRT) data indicated that there were 26.4% elderly suffered from hypertension disease. Exercise for elderly is one of primary preventive actions. Research should be done related to the practice exercise for elderly. This study was aimed to determine the factors of physical exercise for elderly based on health belief model (HBM).Subjects and Method: This was an analytic qualitative study with cross-sectional design. This conducted in Sobokerto, Ngemplak, Boyolali, Central Java, Indonesia. A total sample of 80 elderly with hypertension and participate in physical exercises. Data analysis used chi square and logistic regression.Results: The results showed that the perceived susceptibility, perceived benefits, perceived barriers and cues to action have relationship with physical exercise. There is positive relationship and statically significant between perceived susceptibility with high phycical exercise (OR= 27.01; 95% CI= 2.04 to 357.91; p= 0.012), high perceived benefits (OR= 26.95; 95% CI= 2.20 to 392.05; p= 0.010), high perceived barriers (OR= 0.021; 95% CI= 0.00 to 0.90 p= 0.044), cues to action (OR= 21.37; 95% CI= 1.94 to 259.92; p = 0.044).Conclusion: The HBM constructs on the physical exercise of elderly who are at risk for hypertension.     A Path Analysis on the Socioeconomics Factors Affecting the Utilization of Primary Health Services of Mothers and Children at Nunukan District, North Kalimantan

    Background: Primary Health Care (PHC) was adopted as a basic mechanism to promote health care to the population. This system brings health care as close as possible to where people live and work and it constitutes the first element of a continuing health care process. The previous study reported that in developing county health care services have remained inaccessible in many respects and have therefore negatively affected its optimum utilization. This study aimed to analyze the socioeconomics factors affecting the utilization of primary health services of mothers and children at Nunukan District, North Kalimantan. Subjects and Method: This was a cross-sectional study was conducted at six community health centers in Nunukan, North Kalimantan, from October to November 2017. A total sample of 208 mothers was collected using stratified multi-stage random sampling. The dependent variables were antenatal care (ANC) service, place of birth delivery, and basic immunization.The independent variables were maternal education, maternal employment status, family income, family welfare, and residence. The data were collected by questionnaire and analyzed by path analysis. Results: Utilization of ANC increased with better family welfare (b=1.42; 95% CI= 0.34 to 2.49; p=0.010). Use of basic immunization increased with higher maternal education (b=0.71; 95% CI= 0.06 to 1.35; p=0.032). Place of birth delivery at formal health facility increased with living in urban area (b= 3.2; 95% CI= 1.97 to 4.44; p< 0.001), maternal employment (b=2.34; 95% CI= 0.77 to 3.91; p= 0.003), and regular ANC (b= 1.04; 95% CI= -0.10 to 2.18; p=0.074). Family income increased with higher maternal education level (b=1.21; 95% CI= 0.50 to1.92; p=0.001) and maternal employment (b= 2.54; 95% CI= 1.67 to 3.41; p <0.001). Family welfare increased with living in urban area (b= 1.4; 95% CI= 0.09 to 2.68; p= 0.035) and higher family income (b= 2.5; 95% CI= 0.44 to 4.54; p= 0.017). Maternal employment status increased with higher maternal education level (b= 2.45; 95% CI= 1.63 to 3.26; p< 0.001). Conclusion: Utilization of ANC directly increases with better family welfare. Utilization of basic immunization increases with higher maternal education. Place of birth delivery at formal health facility increases with living in urban area, maternal employment, and regular ANC.     The objective of research was to find out the behavioral pattern andimpact of housewives using mobile merchandise loan (mindring) in PundungTegal Sari Hamlet, Desa Manjung. This study employed a qualitativeapproach method with a single embedded case study. The data source wasobtained from informant, event and activity, document and archive. Thesampling technique used was purposive sampling one with maximumvariation sampling. The data collection was conducted using directobservation, interview, documentation and photographs. The data validationtest was carried out using source triangulation. Mindring activity among thehousewives was encouraged by inadequate cash ownership to buy the goods tofulfill the family's personal and collective needs. In this case housewives were able to divide the money that had to obtain various goods and consumergoods.     Association Between Cigarette Package Warning Messages, Self-Efficacy, and Smoking Behavior Among Students at Health Polytechnic in Surakarta, Indonesia

    Background: Total number of smokers around the worldwide is approximately 140 million. The number of deaths caused by tobacco smoking related diseases is approximately 300,000 per year. Average age to start smoking is 17.6 years. The high number of smokers at young age indicates that public awareness of the dangers of smoking is still very low. This study aimed to determine the association between cigarette package warning messages, self-efficacy, and smoking behavior among students.Subject and Methods: This was an analytical observational study with cross sectional design, carried out in Surakarta, Indonesia. A total of 71 students at Polytechnic of health and sciences were selected by using random sampling technique. The dependent variable was smoking behavior. The independent variables were illustrated the dangers of cigarette smoking advertising and self-efficacy. The data was collected by questionnaire and analyzed by using regression logistic.Results: there is a relationship between an ad illustrated the dangers of cigarette smoking with smoking behavior (OR= 2.87; 95% CI= 0.91 to 9.03; p = 0.071). There is a relationship between the smoking behavior of yourself with the efficacy (OR = 0.23; 95% CI= 0.07 to 0.74; p = 0.013). The ads illustrated the dangers of cigarette smoking and self-efficacy was able to explain the smoking behavior of 16.2% and amounted to 83.8% explained by factors other than the research model.Conclusion: there is a connection between the ads illustrated the dangers of cigarette smoking and the smoking behavior of self-efficacy with the students.Keywords: cigarette package warning messages, self-efficacy, smoking behaviorCorrespondence: Roy Romey Daulas Mangunsong.     Marriage is one of human cultures and being apart of the life cycle. It's a base of forming a family. In ancient era, marriage was considered as conventionally, means women did the marriage because of the culture and society's persepective. Along with the times growing, changes in the way of human thinking began. Marriage was not only considered as a must in cultural, but it became a personal and rational choice of women. A single woman started to express herself to be involved in many public media, to make her being educated and reach the higher level to catch her desire. Marriage now becomes an important thing, but it's not the main priority.The purpose of this research is to find the meaning of marriage for a single women workers, social condition of single woman with their job, and marriage preparation of single women. Theory to analize this problem is interpretative understanding of Weber. This is a qualitative research by using case study research strategy, located in Bulukerto district. Sampling technique was purposive sampling. Data collection technique was interview. Data validity using source triangulation and method triangulation.Data analizing technique using interactive analysis model.Research result and discussion analysis showed that women have started to move on the increasing and progress of prosperity in many fields. Including on the education quality. The involvement of women on the public sphere have opened a new discourse on their way of thinking. This influence on meaning on a perception friction about the meaning of marriage. Single women perception about their life partner is influenced by internal and exsternal factor. Marriage is considered as an individual freedom right. Social condition of single woman toward her job can be seen from their condition of hard working, achievement of goals, focus on profession, high awarenesss of profession and carrier chances, improvement of work, appreciation of work, and discipline of work.     The aim of this research is (1) to find out how the shift of wedding contribution reciprocity is in Brongsongan society, Sidorejo Village, Bendosari, Sukoharjo Regency, and (2) to find out the cause of reciprocity shift in wedding contribution in Brongsongan society, Sidorejo Village, Bendosari, Sukoharjo Regency. This study was taken place in Brongsongan Village, Bendosari, Sukoharjo Regency. The research strategy employed was ethnography study, aiming to get an in-depth meaning of social-cultural activities interrelationship. The data was collected through direct observation and in-depth interview.The result of research showed that the shift of wedding contribution in Brongsongan society could be seen from: form, way of contributing and contribution function. Contributing was no longer a part of mechanic solidarity, but a part of organic solidarity and various transactional activity in the objective of getting either material or social benefit
