    Implementing Fun Cooking Media in Healthy Food: A Computer-based Use

    This paper analyzes an implementation of fun cooking in healthy food toward a computer-based use to increase the knowledge of students aged 5-6 years. Respondents were students of group B in Ikal 1 Kindergarten at East Jakarta, Kreativa Kindergarten at Bogor City, Generasi Bangsa Early Childhood Education Program, and An-Nashihin Kindergarten. Data analysis was done using qualitative analysis for quantitative data and qualitative analysis or inference (Z-test) for quantitative data in order to analyze the results of a trial model using an experimental design. This research design used a two-group pretest-posttest. Paired Sample Test results obtained a pvalue of 0.000 smaller than 0.05. H0 is rejected, and H1 is accepted. It means that there is significant influence between knowledge of students aged 5-6 years before and after implementing fun cooking media in healthy food toward a computer-based use. It has an average value of 96% which expects higher media effectiveness.

    Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is an infectious disease that there are still be a problem, because it can cause death.Vector transmission of dengue fever is Aedes aegypti. One way to avoid mosquito is by using repellent derived from the volatile oil. The purpose of this research is to characterized and investigated of repellent activity of volatile oil akar wangiVetiveria zizanoides L.), cengkeh (Syzygium aromaticum (L.) Merr. & L.M.Perry), sereh wangi (Cymbopogon nardus L), and nilam (Pogostemon cablin (Blanco) Benth.) from Garut district against Aedes aegypti female. Characterization of volatile oils contain of determinations of colours, spesific gravity, refracty index, ethanol solubility and acid number. The repellent activity test was carried out using arms volunteers.Virgin coconut oil ( VCO) was used as negative control, while control positive was using n, n,-dietil-m-toluamida ( DEET ). Concentrations of volatile oil used in this study were 2.5 %, 5 %, and 10 %.Observation of repellentheld every 5 minutes to 15 minutes with 3 times repeated. The sample has potent repellent activity if it has ≥ 95% potential repellent. The result showed that the volatile oil of sereh wangi has repellent activity with 96.26 % potential repellent in 10 % concentration

    Jurusan Sistem Informasi ITS sebagai instansi pendidikan yang berperan sebagai pengelola publikasi ilmiah memiliki ruang lingkup pengelolaan mencakup jurnal SISFO yang diterbitkan tahunan. Proses pengelolaan saat ini belum berbasis aplikasi memungkinkan terjadinya ketidakjelasan cakupan pembagian kerja, sehingga pengelolaan tidak berjalan efisien. Publikasi yang dilakukan saat ini masih melalui media cetak, sehingga belum dapat diakses secara mudah. Berbagai macam permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pengelolaan jurnal ilmiah saat ini di Jurusan Sistem Informasi menjadi pokok dari dibutuhkannya aplikasi manajemen publikasi ilmiah berbasis online yang mampu mengelola kegiatan publikasi ilmiah untuk menciptakan pengelolaan dan publikasi yang lebih baik dan meningkatkan kemudahan akses. Perancangan aplikasi dalam penelitian ini dibangun dengan metode Unified Software Development Process dan perancangan aplikasi menggunakan Unified Modeling Languague (UML). Mekanisme pengerjaan penelitian ini dibuat secara iteratif dari proses pembuatan Spesifikasi Kebutuhan Perangkat Lunak (SKPL), kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan Desain Perancangan Perangkat Lunak (DPPL), kemudian diikuti dengan pembuatan aplikasi dan ditutup dengan pengujian.     Currently, publication for events held by committees of Student Organizations at Petra Christian University still uses conventional media, such as printed posters posted on announcement boards. This causes most of the students unable to see the posters since only some of them are willing to see the posters posted. Another issue is the paper USAge for most of the events evaluation process of Student Organizations with relatively numerous questions which makes the students reluctant to answer. All this time, the evaluation results for the events are not published by the committees. Therefore, only few of the students know the results for each event. If most of the students know the results, this will help Student Organizations\u27 events be more well prepared.Therefore, the writter made a website based information system to answer the problem. This website has features, such as event publications; event reports; and event evaluations by providing rating, comments, and brief questions for each event. Also, the website is supported with delivering credit points to BAKA server using SOAP, saving videos on Youtube for the events, saving the events\u27 photos, showing the highest rating to encourage the committees in making better events, using add location by Google Map, and notifications using phpmailer.From the research and questionnaires which consist of some criterias filled by student organization\u27s members, the results received are 63% of the respondents give moderate score for the interface design, 100% of the respondents give excellent score for the utility 100% of the respondents give excellent score for website USAge; 100% of the respondents give excellent score for the feature completeness; and 100% of the respondents give excellent score for the overall aspects. Thus, it can be concluded that this website is useful, complete, and helpful for student organization\u27s publications and events

    Practicing Lesson Study Based on Group Investigation Learning Model with Local Materials in Ecosystem to Improve Metacognition Skills and Cognitive Learning Outcomes of Graders X at SMAN 1 Mojo Kediri

    This research aims to find out the impact of implementation of Group Investigation learning model in the form of Lesson Study based Local Materials in ecosystem to improve metacognition skills and cognitive learning outcomes of graders X at SMAN 1 Mojo Kediri. This research used Class Action Research, which was collaborated with Lesson Study, and designed using two cycles. It was started on March to April 2015 which involve one model teacher and 4 observers. The data of cognitive learning outcomes was collected using essay test and the data of metacognition skills collected by metacognition skills rubric that was integrated in cognitive learning outcomes. The data was analysed using descriptive analysis. The result of this research showed that there was enhancement of metacognition skills, from 73% to 75%. Students learning outcomes also showed that it increased from 53,61 became 76,14%. The positive value of Class Action Research which collaborated with Lesson Study are teachers can find the problem in learning process and the problem solved by collaboration

    Struktur gedung pascasarjana poltekes didesain dengan mengacu pada SNI 03-2847-2002, SNI 03-1726-2012, SNI 03-1729-2015 dan PPIUG 1987. Metode dynamic respons spectrum digunakan dalam menganalisis gempa.Gaya gempa pada struktur direncanakan dengan menggunakan konfigurasi struktur sistem rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus (SRPMK) karena struktur termasuk kedalam Kategori Desain Seismik tipe D. Sistem rangka berupa rangka yang tersusun dari balok dan kolom, dimana kolom dibuat lebih kuat dari balok (strong column weak beam). Untuk menghindari terjadinya kegagalan struktur pada pertemuan balok-kolom, maka sendi plastis direncanakan terjadi di balok sedangkan pada kolom sendi plastis hanya terjadi di kolom bagian atas pondasi.Program analisis struktur yang digunakan untuk membantu pemodelan struktur dan menghitung gaya dalam yang bekerja pada struktur adalah SAP 2000. Material yang digunakan yaitu beton f'c30 MPa, sedangkan untuk besi tulangan fy 400 Mpa dan 240 Mpa

    Spread of microplastics in the digestive systems of grouper fish (Genus epinephelus) from the Pasar Bengkulu coastal zone in Indonesia

    Microplastics (MPs) have infected fish, crustaceans, and mollusks, among other marine fisheries products. This investigation was to determine the microplastic content of the gills, musscle, and intestines of Grouper (Genus epinephelus) in Pasar Bengkulu, Indonesia. This study was conducted in July-August 2022 with a random sample of 25 participants. At the Laboratory of Fisheries Marine Science Univerisity of Bengkulu, microplastics were analyzed. In the gills, musscle, and intestinal of Grouper Fish (Genus epinephelus), researchers discovered three types of microplastics, including fiber, film, and fragments, with a total abundance of 3.60 particles per individual. Transparent, black, and yellow were the hues discovered. Black predominated the color palette of the microplastic. 40.32μm - 675.31μm was the range of microplastic size.
