But as I am a foreigner in regard to this matter (although much to my pleasure an Honorary Member of your Club) I think that anything I might say would be indiscreet.Mr. Bryce, the present British Ambassador at Washington is a man, who could and I think would do more for you than I can. He possesses distinguished ability, and has held his difficult position to all-round satisfaction for a long time. I know that he feels in this matter like ourselves, and I think, if 04684 2) it should be brought before him, that he would do all that his position would permit.If this letter seems cold, pray excuse me. I am entirely with you in desiring Beauty spots to be reserved for the future. Upon the other side of the border (in Canada) this matter has been taken in hand seriously, and you will find upon enquiring that immense spaces have been reserved for the public enjoyment for ever and ever.Personally, I rejoice to know it. Análisis del espectro radioeléctrico, modificación, asignación y optimización durante la transición de televisión analógica a digital terrestre en el Ecuador

Se realizó el análisis del espectro radioeléctrico, modificación, asignación y optimización durante la transición de televisión analógica a digital terrestre en el Ecuador, con el objetivo de elaborar un estudio actual de la ocupación del espectro radioeléctrico, para determinar una propuesta de asignación de bandas de frecuencias. Se utilizó el método analítico para determinar los parámetros técnicos que intervienen en el sistema de televisión, como son frecuencias óptimas para la transmisión de dicha tecnología, espectro radioeléctrico para conocer cuan utilizadas están las bandas VHF, UHF , los sistemas de radiocomunicaciones que operan en este rango y su posible migración, además se realizó un estudio económico para crear un programa de televisión para informar si las operadoras se encuentran en condiciones de compartir el ancho de banda, además se realizó una investigación de posibles interferencias entre canales de televisión durante la transmisión simultánea, tecnología analógica y digital. Este análisis fue efectuado con datos de la Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones, TVS canal 13, con los parámetros técnicos que indica la Norma Técnica de Televisión Digital Terrestre de Brasil, Plan Maestro de Transición a la Televisión Digital Terrestre en el Ecuador. Con los resultados obtenidos se determina que la banda óptima para el funcionamiento de TDT es la banda UHF, en los canales del canal 14 al 49 existe un 69.72% de frecuencias libres, en VHF se determina el 37.85% para su asignación sin embargo no se considerará por características técnicas, también existe la posible asignación de frecuencias en canales adyacentes durante la transición de analógico a digital, igualmente la compartición del ancho de banda de 6 MHz en caso de canales de televisión de cobertura local debido a que la producción de un programa de televisión tiene un costo aproximado de $ 2.254,73, en base a esto se considera poco probable la producción de dos programas simultáneamente
