A Plausibility Semantics for Abstract Argumentation Frameworks
We propose and investigate a simple ranking-measure-based extension semantics
for abstract argumentation frameworks based on their generic instantiation by
default knowledge bases and the ranking construction semantics for default
reasoning. In this context, we consider the path from structured to logical to
shallow semantic instantiations. The resulting well-justified JZ-extension
semantics diverges from more traditional approaches.Comment: Proceedings of the 15th International Workshop on Non-Monotonic
Reasoning (NMR 2014). This is an improved and extended version of the

Charged Higgs production with a top in MC@NLO
The production in association with a top quark is the most promising search
channel for charged Higgs bosons at the LHC. We review its theoretical
description including next-to-leading order corrections and the combination
with a parton shower. The latter allows us to for the first time answer
questions about the kinematics of all jets in the process. We then describe the
consistent subtraction of intermediate states and present new results about the
bottom mass uncertainty impacting the parton densisities.Comment: Proceedings `Prospects for Charged Higgs Discovery at Colliders',
including new results on bottom mass induced uncertainty, on-shell
subtraction, and reference cross section
Associated production of top quarks and charged Higgs bosons at next-to-leading order
Accurate predictions for both signal and background events at the LHC are of paramount importance in order to confirm even the smallest deviations from Standard Model predicitions. Next-to-leading order Monte Carlo event generators are an essential tool to reach that goal. Concerning the charged Higgs boson, NLO calculations of the production cross section already exist. Reiterating the calculation using a subtraction formalism enables us to implement the cross section into Monte Carlo generators, which can then be used by experiments

Ranking Revision Reloaded
In the context of a general revision framework, we propose and take a first look at revision strategies for epistemic ranking measures reaching beyond minimal Jeffrey-conditionalization, a variant of Spohn-style revision
