    Get PDF
Existing macroeconomic forecasting methods primarily focus on the characteristics of economic data, but they overlook the energy-related features concealed behind these economic characteristics, which may lead to inaccurate GDP predictions. Therefore, this paper meticulously analyzes the relationship between energy big data and economic data indicators, explores the coupling feature mining of energy big data and economic data, and constructs features coupling economic and energy data. Targeting the nonlinear variation coupling features in China’s quarterly GDP data and using the long short-term memory (LSTM) neural network model based on deep learning, we employ wavelet analysis technology (WA) to decompose selected macroeconomic variables and construct a prediction model combining LSTM and WA, which is further compared with multiple benchmark models. The research findings show that, in terms of quarterly GDP data prediction, the combined deep learning model and wavelet analysis significantly outperform other methods. When processing structurally complex, nonlinear, and multi-variable data, the LSTM and WA combined prediction model demonstrate better generalization capabilities, with its prediction accuracy generally surpassing other benchmark models

    Get PDF
Although mobile services have gained huge potential market in recent years, the adoption of mobile services has been far slower than expected. Many scholars put forward mobile services adoption models to explore the causes of low adoption of mobile services. But few researchers have explained why different types of services differ in terms of popularity from the view of lifestyle. The authors attempt to explain the adoption of various mobile services in the view of lifestyle through descriptive analysis and ANOVE analysis in China. And the conclusions are as follows: 1) the adoption of different types of mobile services varies with different groups of users, because 2) different groups of users often have their own lifestyles (e.g., new life consciousness, arbitrary consciousness, financial consciousness, etc.), 3) which can significantly affect their intention to adopt various mobile services

Design of directional transmission channel models for breast photoacoustic signals based on defect state structure

In the photoacoustic detection of breast cancer, the weak intensity and severe energy attenuation of photoacoustic signals excited by the breast tissue become an important factor limiting the efficient acquisition of the ultrasound transducer. To overcome this problem, we proposed a linear defect channel and bifurcated acoustic transmission channel models at the front of the ultrasonic transducers based on the phononic crystal bandgap characteristics and defect state structure. The results of numerical analyses and simulations carried out using COMSOL demonstrated that the photoacoustic signal transmission channel proposed could confine the acoustic energy within the defects, while achieving the directional transmission and local enhancement of the acoustic field of high-frequency breast photoacoustic signals. This design effectively reduces the signal transmission loss and amplifies the mammographic signal intensity, which is conducive to efficient acquisition. In addition, the directional transmission effect is found to be strongly dependent on frequency, which makes the channel have great frequency selectivity. Through the flexible modulation of the transmission path of the artificial acoustic structure, breast photoacoustic signals of specific frequencies can be exported in separate paths to reduce the interference of noise signals. This study combines biomedical tumor detection with phononic crystals to present a novel method for efficient acquisition and deep detection of acoustic signals in tissue photoacoustic detection from the signal perspective, which is conducive to improving the sensitivity of breast cancer detection

Realizing the transformation from “dual control of energy consumption” to “dual control of carbon emissions” is the inherent requirement of realizing the “dual carbon” goal. Scientific planning of the provincial decomposition method of total carbon emissions is an important content of the top-level design of carbon emissions management, and an important support for the implementation of total carbon emissions control. Based on the application research of greenhouse gas inventory in all fields, this paper conducts a full factor analysis of the total carbon emissions of the whole society, establishes a comprehensive decomposition index system, and proposes a simple and transparent provincial decomposition method of the total carbon emissions control target, which considers fairness and efficiency. The simulated decomposition results show that the decomposition method is scientific and operable and can be used as an important reference for future practical decomposition operations

Enhanced Separation of Oil and Solids in Oily Sludge by Froth Flotation at Normal Temperature

Oily sludge (OS) contains a large number of hazardous materials, and froth flotation can achieve oil recovery and non-hazardous disposal of OS simultaneously. The influence of flotation parameters on OS treatment and the flotation mechanism were studied. OS samples were taken from Shengli Oilfield in May 2017 (OSS) and May 2020 (OST), respectively. Results showed that Na2SiO3 was the suitable flotation reagent treating OSS and OST, which could reduce the viscosity between oil and solids. Increasing flotation time, impeller speed and the ratio of liquid to OS could enhance the pulp shear effect, facilitate the formation of bubble and reduce pulp viscosity, respectively. Under the optimized parameters, the oil content of OST residue could be reduced to 1.2%, and that of OSS could be reduced to 0.6% because of OSS with low heavy oil components and wide solid particle size distribution. Orthogonal experimental results showed that the impeller speed was the most significant factor of all parameters for OSS and OST, and it could produce shear force to decrease the intensity of C-H bonds and destabilize the OS. The oil content of residue could be reduced effectively in the temperature range of 24–45 °C under the action of high impeller speed

Background: Bladder cancer is of compelling morbidity and mortality due to its high recurrence rate. Little development has been made in the last decades in the therapy methods. Thus, the mechanism of its growth and invasiveness involving novel molecular targets are needed. Objective: Our research objective is to confirm the hypothesis that miR-1-3p suppresses the proliferation, invasion and migration of bladder cancer cells. Methods: The expression levels of miR-1-3p and SFRP1 were evaluated using RT-qPCR in bladder cancer tissues and cells as well as in normal tissues and cells. J82 cell lines were selected as experiment subjects due to their low expression levels of miR-1-3p. Plasmids carrying miR-1-3p mimics, miR-1-3p inhibitors and SFRP1 were transfected into the J82 cell lines. Subsequently, the protein expression of SFRP1 was detected using Western Blot analysis, and cell proliferation, apoptosis, invasion and migration ability was measured using MTT, the flow cytometry, the Transwell test and wound healing assays, respectively Results: Bladder cancer tissues and cells exhibited significant decrease in the expression of miR-1-3p and SFRP1 compared to normal tissues and cells, and human bladder cancer cell line J82 exhibited the most significant decrease in these expressions (P < 0.05). MiR-1-3p up-regulates SFRP1 expression in bladder cancer cells, and the over-expression of miR-1-3p can suppress the proliferation, invasion and migration ability of bladder cancer cells. This mechanism is similar to the effect of SFRP1 over-expression on bladder cancer cells. Conclusion: MiR-1-3p suppresses the proliferation, invasion and migration of bladder cancer cells by up-regulating SFRP1 expression

AbstractIn the present study, a novel single domain antibody (sdAb) fusion protein, named everestmab, composing of a mutated GLP-1(A8G) fused to the tandem bispecific humanized GLP-1R-targeting and albumin-binding nanobodies was designed and characterized for the therapies for type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Surface plasmon resonance (SPR) measurements demonstrated everestmab associates with serum albumins of rat and monkey species with high affinity, and tends to be cross-reactive with rat and monkey species. In vitro GLP-1R binding and activation assays revealed that everestmab can specifically activate the GLP-1R, and the antagonist exendin-4 (9–39) did not inhibit the activation yet. In vivo multiple oral glucose tolerance tests (OGTTs) and hypoglycaemic efficacy tests proved that a single injection of everestmab reduced the blood glucose for at least 144 h in Goto-Kakizaki (GK) rats. The plasma half-lives of 4.1 and 7.8 days were observed after a single s.c. administration of everestmab in SD rats and cynomolgus monkeys, respectively. Chronic treatment of everestmab to GK and diet induced obese (DIO) rats achieved beneficial effects on weight reducing, HbA1c lowering, glucose tolerance, liver and pancreas islet function impairment. In summary, everestmab is a unique G-protein-coupled receptor-targeted nanobody fusion protein and exerts potential as a therapeutic treatment for T2DM

International audienceClimate warming and human disturbance are supposed to have severely affected the alpine grasslands on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau (QTP), a region where the extremely harsh and fragile ecological environment has attracted great attention because of its sensitivity to global change. However, there is still no unified understanding of the degree and magnitude of grassland degradation and the effectiveness of nutrient addition in this vast landscape, since most previous studies have focused on short-term observations at a single site. Here, we conducted a meta-analysis of 145 published studies on degraded alpine grassland along with 90 published studies, which concerning nutrient addition (nitrogen [N], phosphorus [P], and combined N and P [NP]) to quantitatively assess the responses of plant and soil characteristics to land degradation and restoration. Our results revealed that the response ratio (RR) of above-ground biomass (AGB), below-ground biomass (BGB), soil organic carbon (SOC), and soil total N (TN) decreased significantly (−47.23 %, −43.45 %, −32.35 %, and −37.97 %, respectively) in degraded grassland compared with non-degraded grassland. The RR of AGB was correlated with mean annual precipitation (MAP), while the RR of BGB was correlated with the interaction of MAP and mean annual temperature (MAT). Severely degraded grassland required additional nutrients to aid recovery. NP addition to severely degraded sites increased plant AGB (+32.44 %), TN (+10.99 %), soil total P (+32.25 %), and soil moisture (+9.21 %), but significantly decreased species richness (−45.46 %), diversity (−30.40 % for Shannon−Wiener index) and soil pH (−3.91 %). N addition increased the RR of AGB and grass biomass significantly by 28.77 % and 36.49 %, but had no significant effect on sedge and forb biomass. MAP influenced the RR of AGB, TN, TP under NP addition, the RR of BGB and the AGB of different function groups were significantly affected by MAT. We evidenced that the QTP has endured severe vegetation and soil degradation, which cannot be completely mitigated by supplementary fertilisation. Fertilisation could yield positive effects on plant performance and soil quality, but negative effects on biodiversity. Climate warming and associated precipitation change may regulate the effects of fertiliser on plant biomass and soil nutrients
