In the title compound, C14H10Cl2N2O2, the configuration about the C=N double bond is E and the dihedral angle between the benzene rings is 1.75 (5)°. An intramolecular N—H⋯O interaction generates an S(6) ring. In the crystal, molecules are linked by N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, resulting in [101] chains

How the Design Leadership and Strategic Design Drive New Value in Enterprises and Organizations

    Get PDF
Today's design has shifted from the original primary pursuit of appearance and function to processes and systems, creating new meanings for corporate strategies, products and services. Nowadays, enterprises are increasingly paying attention to the power of design, and regard design as the main innovation method and incorporate it into the organizations. Design began to be considered a key role at the top of large organizations. Although people recognize that design can bring good effects to enterprises and organizations, and there is growing interest in cultivating design thinking, what are the leaders who can lead enterprises, organizations and have design thinking? Their characteristics and how to formulate and plan strategic design still not fully elucidated. Therefore, this research uses related theories to understand the way of thinking and characteristics of design leaders, only in this way we formulate good strategic design for enterprises and organizations, and become an indispensable and important help in today rapidly changing world

A maximal clique based multiobjective evolutionary algorithm for overlapping community detection

Detecting community structure has become one im-portant technique for studying complex networks. Although many community detection algorithms have been proposed, most of them focus on separated communities, where each node can be-long to only one community. However, in many real-world net-works, communities are often overlapped with each other. De-veloping overlapping community detection algorithms thus be-comes necessary. Along this avenue, this paper proposes a maxi-mal clique based multiobjective evolutionary algorithm for over-lapping community detection. In this algorithm, a new represen-tation scheme based on the introduced maximal-clique graph is presented. Since the maximal-clique graph is defined by using a set of maximal cliques of original graph as nodes and two maximal cliques are allowed to share the same nodes of the original graph, overlap is an intrinsic property of the maximal-clique graph. Attributing to this property, the new representation scheme al-lows multiobjective evolutionary algorithms to handle the over-lapping community detection problem in a way similar to that of the separated community detection, such that the optimization problems are simplified. As a result, the proposed algorithm could detect overlapping community structure with higher partition accuracy and lower computational cost when compared with the existing ones. The experiments on both synthetic and real-world networks validate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm

The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C19H12N4O·H2O, contains one organic molecule and one solvent water molecule, which are connected by N—H⋯O and O—H⋯N hydrogen bonds. In addition, there is one intramolecular O—H⋯N hydrogen bond. The organic molecule is essentially planar (r.m.s. deviation for all non-H atoms = 0.028 Å)

Purpose. To investigate the clinical value of 99Tcm-MDP SPECT for the diagnosis of unilateral condylar hyperplasia (UCH). Methods. One hundred forty-nine patients who underwent mandibular 99Tcm-MDP SPECT between January 2009 and December 2012 were studied, including 105 cases that were clinically suspected of UCH and 44 comparable cases without UCH as a control group. Results. Increased bone activity was observed in the affected condyles for all UCH patients. In the UCH group, the relative percentage uptake on the affected side was 59% (SD±4.3%), significantly higher than the 41% (SD±4.1%) uptake on the contralateral side (P<0.001). Similarly, the condyle/skull ratio was significantly higher for the affected side (1.66±0.63) than for the contralateral side (1.34±0.34, P<0.01. No significant difference was found in the control group between the left and right condyles. Values for the sensitivity (95%), specificity (61%), positive (84.4%) and negative (84.6%) predictive values, and accuracy (84.5%) for 99Tcm-MDP SPECT in the diagnosis of UCH were calculated. However, for the hyperplastic condyle, no correlation was observed between the thickness of each cartilage layer and the relative uptake in the SPECT image. Conclusion. 99Tcm-MDP SPECT is accurate for diagnosing UCH and can provide a reference for treatment options

The role of EGFR mutation as a prognostic factor in survival after diagnosis of brain metastasis in non-small cell lung cancer: A systematic review and meta-analysis

    Get PDF
Abstract Background The brain is a common site for metastasis in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This study was designed to evaluate the relationship between the mutational of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and overall survival (OS) in NSCLC patients with brain metastases. Methods Searches were performed in PubMed, EmBase, and the Cochrane Library to identify studies evaluating the association of EGFR mutation with OS in NSCLC patients through September 2017. Results 4373 NSCLC patients with brain metastases in 18 studies were involved. Mutated EGFR associated with significantly improved OS compared with wild type. Subgroup analyses suggested that this relationship persisted in studies conducted in Eastern, with retrospective design, with sample size ≥500, mean age of patients ≥65.0 years, percentage male < 50.0%, percentage of patients receiving tyrosine kinase inhibitor ≥30.0%. Finally, although significant publication bias was observed using the Egger test, the results were not changed after adjustment using the trim and fill method. Conclusions This meta-analysis suggests that EGFR mutation is an important predictive factor linked to improved OS for NSCLC patients with brain metastases. It can serve as a useful index in the prognostic assessment of NSCLC patients with brain metastases
