Inverse Projection Representation and Category Contribution Rate for Robust Tumor Recognition
Sparse representation based classification (SRC) methods have achieved
remarkable results. SRC, however, still suffer from requiring enough training
samples, insufficient use of test samples and instability of representation. In
this paper, a stable inverse projection representation based classification
(IPRC) is presented to tackle these problems by effectively using test samples.
An IPR is firstly proposed and its feasibility and stability are analyzed. A
classification criterion named category contribution rate is constructed to
match the IPR and complete classification. Moreover, a statistical measure is
introduced to quantify the stability of representation-based classification
methods. Based on the IPRC technique, a robust tumor recognition framework is
presented by interpreting microarray gene expression data, where a two-stage
hybrid gene selection method is introduced to select informative genes.
Finally, the functional analysis of candidate's pathogenicity-related genes is
given. Extensive experiments on six public tumor microarray gene expression
datasets demonstrate the proposed technique is competitive with

Connection problem of the first Painlev\'{e} transcendents with large initial data
In previous work, Bender and Komijani (2015 J. Phys. A: Math. Theor. 48
475202) showed that the separatrix solutions to the first Painlev\'e (PI)
equations are determined by a -symmetric Hamiltonian, and a
sequence of initial conditions give rise to separatrix solutions. In the
present work, we consider the initial value problem of the PI equation in a
more general setting and show that the initial conditions and
located on a sequence of curves , , will give rise to
separatrix solutions, and we find the limiting form equation of the curves
as . These curves separate the singular solutions and
oscillating solutions of PI. Our analytical asymptotic formula of

Modeling Government Credit Information Systems Diffusion in China: A System Dynamics Approach
This paper examines the usage and diffusion of Government Credit Information Systems (GCIS) in district-level governments in shanghai. The diffusion of GCIS was studied from a process-oriented perspective. A System Dynamics (SD) model is developed to simulate the relationships of technological, organizational and environmental, and institutional factors on GCIS diffusion under different management policies. A holistic view on the feedback loops, the consequently nonlinear behavior pattern of GCIS usage, and its diffusion in Shanghai government agencies is examined. Our research model and results suggest that workload faced by GCIS users and the tolerable maximum workload have a high impact on GCIS usage, task volume brought by GCIS, work pressure and the perception of technological factors. Different combination of work intensity and the tolerable maximum work intensity significantly influence the system usage. The contribution of our study lies in revealing that the diffusion of GCIS requires a systematic consideration of the business development plan, the GCIS user\u27s workload and the organization\u27s business environment. Flexible managerial incentive strategy will enhance user\u27s work efficiency, thus lead to effective diffusion of GCIS in organizations. Optimal View Angle in Collective Dynamics of Self-propelled Agents
We study a system of self-propelled agents in which each agent has a part of
omnidirectional or panoramic view of its sensor disc, the field of vision of
the agent in this case is only a sector of a disc bounded by two radii and the
included arc. The inclination of these two radii is characterized as the view
angle. Contrary to our intuition, we find that, the non-omnidirectional-view
for swarm agents with periodic boundary conditions in noiseless Vicsek model
can accelerate the transient process of the emergence of the ordered state. One
consequent implication is that, there are generally superfluous communications
in the Vicsek Model, which may even obstruct the possible fast swarm emergence.
This phenomenon may invoke further efforts and attentions to explore the
underlying mechanism of the emergence in self-propelled agents.Comment: 4 pages, 6 figure
