AbstractCultural architecture, specially, museum architecture, is of significant social value and importance for the improvement of city image, and for the optimization of people's living environment. Consequently, it is significant to analyze such kind of architecture from various perspectives so as to explore its spatial constitution and functional organization. This paper generalizes and puts forward methodology to design interesting exhibition space, convenient traffic space and diversified rest space

The paper, based on ANSYS/LS-DYNA software, made a computational study on the overload characteristic curves of projectile penetrating metal objects. Adopting Lagrange method, Lagrangian-Eulerian coupling algorithm and SPH method, respectively, simulated the over-load characteristics of projectiles penetrating single-layer steel plates and multi-layer steel and aluminum alloy plates. The results affirmed that the curves agreed well with each other. The curves reached its peak during every penetrating layer and the accelerator peak declined with layers increasing. And the overload value fluctuated around zero during the penetrating interval. The fact, gained from the velocity curves, was that it dropped gradually, however, reached a plateau during the interval, suggesting that the velocity kept constant, and overload value came to zero. The simulation and the experimental results of penetrating the multi-layer aluminum alloy plates were in well accord. Besides, the overload curves shared the same trends with penetrating the multi-layer steel plates

Purpose: To prepare and characterise ciprofloxacin mucoadhesive buccal films for localised, improved drug delivery in periodontitis. Methods: Ciprofloxacin-loaded buccal films containing 50 mg ciprofloxacin were prepared mucoadhesive polymers sodium cellulose (SCMC) and sodium alginate, using a solvent evaporation method. The films were evaluated in terms of thickness, weight, folding endurance, surface pH, drug content, swelling, mucoadhesive properties, release characteristics, and in vivo anti-periodontitis activity, using ampicillin as the standard. Results: The buccal films showed good drug loading (94.50 ± 0.04 to 99.69 ± 0.21 %) and significant mucoadhesion in terms of in vitro residence time, as well as significant swelling (38.20 ± 1.62 to 54.42 ± 2.32 %). In addition to the good physicochemical properties of the films, ex vivo drug release was high (83.22 ± 1.42 to 90.24 ± 2.01 after 12 h. The films displayed potent anti-periodontitis activity, as indicated by a significant reduction in the bacterial count in a periodontitis model. The samples treated with BFC4 formulation (containing 3:1 SCMC and sodium alginate) exhibited the lowest growth of colonies (57 ± 2.02 CFU/mL) compared with those treated with the BFC3 formulation (69 ± 2.41 CFU/mL) and the standard (80 ± 5.22 CFU/mL).Conclusion: Formulation BFC4 has suitable physicochemical, drug release, and anti-periodontitis activity for buccal administration. Keywords: Periodontitis, Ciprofloxacin, Buccal film, Mucoadhesive, Periodontitis, Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, Sodium alginat

SNHG22 promotes migration and invasion of trophoblasts via miR-128-3p/PCDH11X axis and activates PI3K/Akt signaling pathway

Objectives: Long non-coding RNAs (LncRNAs) act as an indispensable role in the Preeclampsia (PE)-related trophoblast function, while its relationship with Small Nucleolar RNA Host Gene 22 (SNHG22) remains unknown. Hence, this study aimed to investigate the roles of lncRNA SNHG22 in the Preeclampsia (PE)-related trophoblasts function and the underlying mechanism. Method: Normal placentas and placentas from PE patients were collected to detect the expression of lncRNA SNHG22. Then, trophoblasts HTR-8/Svneo and JEG-3 were purchased, cultured, and treated to investigate the roles of lncRNA SNHG22 on cell migration and invasion as well as its underlying regulatory mechanism. Results: The SNHG22 was downregulated in PE patients, and it was found that SNHG22 overexpression could drive migration and invasion of trophoblasts, while SNHG22 depletion exerted a suppressive effect. Mechanistically, SNHG22 was validated to regulate microRNA-128-3p (miR-128-3p), and Protocadherin 11 X-Linked (PCDH11X) was identified as the target gene of miR-128-3p. Furthermore, it was found that SNHG22 acted as a promoter in the migration and invasion of trophoblast cells in a miR-128-3p/PCDH11X dependent manner, and SNHG22 silencing weakened the activation of PCDH11X-mediated PI3K/Akt signaling pathways through inhibiting miR-128-3p, thereby preventing migration and invasion of trophoblasts. Conclusion: SNHG22 acted as a driver in the migration and invasion of trophoblasts and may be considered a candidate for the amelioration of PE
