Strengthening National Defence: Coordinating Waters and Air Territory Security under the Indonesian National Police

This study aims to analyse the role of a corps under the Indonesian National Police, known as Air and Water Police Corps (Ditpolair Korpolairud Baharkam) to strengthen national defence. Being on the equator makes Indonesia rich in natural resources, but, its strategic position also poses a threat, especially in the defence and security sector in border areas, both regional and international trade routes. The actual threats at trade crossings where about 40% of trade routes pass through Indonesia are the high cases of smuggling of illegal goods, human trafficking, illegal fishing, and many other cases that occur in Indonesian waters. In accordance with Article 6 of Law Number 34 Year 2004 that the Indonesian Navy as the main component functions as an antidote, act and restore the condition of state security. The Indonesian Navy as a Military Defence Force has a heavy role because as a military, police, diplomacy and support, it also functions as a marine controller and power projection. While Non-militer Defence entities such as the National Police, Indonesian Ministry of Marine and Fisheries Affairs (KKP), Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla) as the coordinator. The normative juridical approach has been used and qualitative research methods are explained in descriptive analysis. The result shows that Ditpolair Korpolairud Baharkam carried out their roles as mandated by laws and regulations and the need for communication and coordination in synergy with all defence forces handling maritime, so that the integrity of Indonesia remained intact

PENGARUH KUALITAS PRODUK, KUALITAS PELAYANAN, DAN KEPERCAYAAN SEBAGAI MODERASI TERHADAP KEPUASAN PELANGGAN DAN LOYALITAS PELANGGAN DI UD.SUMBER TANI

The development of the agricultural business sector is currently experiencing a fairly positive increase. According to data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) provides information that agriculture is the highest contributor to national economic growth. Seeing good opportunities for agricultural business actors such as UD.Sumber Tani. The object used in this research is UD.Sumber Tani which was founded in 2003 in Ponorogo, East Java. This study aims to analyze the effect of product quality, service quality, and trust as a moderator on customer satisfaction and customer loyalty at UD.Sumber Tani. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study are UD Sumber Tani customers. The sample used in the study was 60 respondents. The data was collected using a questionnaire method which was filled out using a Likert Scale with the Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis method and the SmartPLS 3.0 tool. The results of this study indicate that product quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, service quality has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, trust does not moderate the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty, customer satisfaction has a significant effect on customer loyalty at UD.Sumber Tani

Development of a mechanism to facilitate the safety stock planning configuration in ERP

Safety stock planning in ERP in general is dependent upon the planner having the experience to simulate planning scenarios. This paper focuses on the development of a mechanism to calculate adequate safety stocks in accordance with required service levels while enabling efficient configuration of the ERP safety stock parameters. The proposed mechanism could be of great benefit to industrial firms as it offers the ability to classify demand patterns, proposes replenishment strategies that are consistent with the demand profile, calculates key parameters and identifies the changes required to the ERP master data. The associated real world application is able to identify potential to save approximately £1.2 M in stock reductions and, more importantly, allows targeted actions to be implemented at material level. These results demonstrated that the proposed mechanism can be considered as a valuable new development for manufacturing industry to gain the competitive advantage

РАЗРАБОТКА МЕТОДИКИ РАСЧЕТА ХАРАКТЕРИСТИК УПЛОТНЕНИЙ С УЧЕТОМ ДЕФОРМАЦИЙ ЭЛЕМЕНТОВ ОПОРЫ

The object of the article is the retainer as a part of bearing part is gas-turbine engine compressor. For the general case of loading there is shown a classification of stressing affected on elements of bearing part. It has been investigated seal spacing in three front-radial and one labyrinth sealing retainers. Due to the calculations on the whole variety of main mode for key stressing factors (pressure, temperature and axial force) there were determined excursion of sealing and its form along with pressurization change. It was marked an opening of retainer due to in-flight modes and increasing of seal leakage till 20 g/sec on the «full afterburner» flight mode. There is represented a necessity bearing part deformations accountant in the design of the retainer. .В статье рассматривается уплотнение в составе опоры компрессора авиационного двигателя. Для общего случая нагружения дана классификация нагрузок, действующих на элементы опоры. Исследовались уплотнительные зазоры в трех радиально-торцовы/х и одном лабиринтном уплотнении. При расчете на всех основных режимах для основных факторов нагружения (давления, температуры и осевой силы) определялось изменение величины и формы зазора и рассчитывалось изменение герметичности каждого уплотне­ния. Отмечено раскрытие уплотнений на полетных режимах и увеличение утечек через уплотнение до 20 г/с на режиме «Полный форсаж». Показана необходимость учета деформаций элементов опоры при проектировании уплотнения.

Policy Implementation of Lantamal VIII Manado in Handling Transnational Crimes in the North Sulawesi Marine Border

This study aims to identify the policy of Main Naval Base VIII (Lantamal VIII) Manado to handle transnational crimes in the Manado sea border, North Sulawesi. It is implemented in order to support Indonesia's maritime security which contains communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study. Data collection using interviews and documentation while examining the data’s validity using triangulation. The argument of this study is the communication made by Lantamal VIII Manado which represents the relation of Indonesia and the Philippines, while coordination between the competent agencies in the waters of North Sulawesi requires good synergy. Nevertheless, there are several problems encountered by Lantamal VIII Manado, namely the lack of personnel and defence equipment. The disposition aspect has been going well according to the command mechanism. In addition, from the bureaucratic structure, Lantamal VIII Manado has a clear division of regional work
