    Community Personal Hygiene Knowledge and Attitude to Covid-19 Prevention Behavior

    Background: The rise of Covid-19 cases has become a global issue. The government has issued guidelines for the public to reduce exposure and spread of disease or infection through personal hygiene. The purpose of this study is to ascertain community knowledge and attitudes toward personal hygiene in preventing Covid-19 in Bengkulu City. Method: This research method uses a quantitative approach. This type of research is an observational study with a cross-sectional approach. The sample in this quantitative study was taken using a simple random technique. Based on the calculation of the sample, the minimum sample size is 100 people. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires, univariate and bivariate analyses were performed. Results: The results were there was a significant association between personal hygiene knowledge toward Covid-19 prevention behaviors in Bengkulu City (p<0.05; OR= 2.6; CI 95%= 1.137-5.951). Knowledge is the collection of information about the occurrence and prevention of Covid-19, understood and acquired from the learning process throughout life, in which there are significant associations. In Bengkulu City, there was a significant association between people's attitudes toward personal hygiene and the prevention of Covid-19 (p<0.05; OR= 2.658; CI 95%= 1.184-5.969). Attitude is one of the factors that determine a person's actions in maintaining individual and group good in preventing disease. Conclusion: The results show that personal hygiene knowledge and attitudes are significantly associated with Covid-19 prevention behaviors

    Penerapan Atraumatik Care: Audiovisual terhadap Penurunan Kecemasan pada Anak Usia Prasekolah

    This study aims to determine the effect of applying atraumatic care with audiovisuals to reduce or minimize the anxiety of hospitalized children during the COVID-19 pandemic at Harapan and Doa Hospital, Bengkulu City. This research method is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design. The results showed that the difference in the average decrease in anxiety frequency before and after the intervention was 2,500 with a standard deviation of 1,761, the value of 95% CI (0,652 - 4,348), p-value obtained 0.018 < = 0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant effect on the level of anxiety of preschoolers before and after the audiovisual intervention at Harapan and Doa Hospital Bengkulu City.   Keywords: Children, Audiovisual, Anxiet

    GAMBARAN PNEUMONIA PADA BALITA DI KOTA BENGKULU

    Provinsi Bengkulu merupakan Provinsi yang menduduki peringkat ke 2 tertinggi kasus pneumonia pada balita setelah Papua yaitu mencapai 3,4%. Kejadian kasus pneumonia selama 5 tahun sebelumnya pada balita cukup fluktuatif hal ini dapat dilihat dari jumlah penderita yang ditemukan dan ditangani pada setiap tahunnya, di Kota Bengkulu tahun 2018 jumlah kasus pneumonia pada balita mencapai 3.411. Tahun 2017 sebanyak 3.437 penderita, hal ini menunjukan trend peningkatan yang sangat tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya dimana pada tahun 2016 sebanyak 31 orang, tahun 2015 berjumlah 125 kasus, tahun 2014 berjumlah 35 kasus, dan tahun 2013 berjumlah 26 kasus. Meningkatnya kasus pneumonia ini akan berdampak pada status kesehatan bayi dan anak di masa akan datang. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran Kejadian Pneumonia pada Balita Di Kota Bengkulu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, Penelitian ini akan dilaksanakan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas yang jumlah kasus pneumonianya tinggi yaitu terdapat 4 (empat) Puskesmas yaitu Puskesmas Sukamerindu, Puskesmas Betungan, Puskesmas Basuki Rahmat dan Puskesmas Kuala Lempuing. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 90 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara penyebaran kuesioner. Selanjutnya data yang telah terkumpul dilakukan analisis univariat dan disajikan dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kejadian pneumonia pada Balita dari 90 responden terdapat 52 balita (57,8%) menderita pneumonia dan 38 balita (42,2%) tidak menderita pneumonia. Rata rata Ibu balita yang berependidikan tinggi terdapat 77 orang (85,6%). Masih ada ibu balita yang tidak memberikan ASI Ekslusif sebanyak 36 orang (40%). Rata rata status imunisasi balitanya tidak lengkap sebanyak 58 orang (64,4%) dan memiliki riwayat ISPA sebanyak 47 orang (52,2%). Masih ada rumah dengan kepadatan hunian padat sebanyak 35 rumah (38,9%)

    FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PENERAPAN PERILAKU HIDUP BERSIH DAN SEHAT DI SDN 42 KOTA BENGKULU

    Sebagian besar penyakit yang sering diderita anak usia sekolah (usia 6–10) ternyata berkaitan dengan PHBS. Perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di sekolah merupakan upaya memperdayakan peserta didik, guru, dan masyarakat lingkungan sekolah agar tahu, mau, dan mampu mempraktikkan PHBS dan berperan aktif dalam mewujudkan sekolah sehat. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling. Total sampel 62 siswa analisis data menggunakan uji chi squre. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak adanya hubungan antara variabel pengetahuan dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,226), kantin sekolah dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,378), tempat sampah dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,785), dan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara variable sikap dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,013), jamban dengan penerapan PHBS (P= 0,027). Kesimpulan adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara sikap, penggunaan jamban dengan penerapan PHBS di SDN 42 Kota Bengkulu. Saran Bagi sekolah agar pihak sekolah lebih memperhatikan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) siswa, dalam hal ini melengkapi fasilitas sarana yang masih kurang dan menetapkan peraturan yang mendukung kebiasaan di sekolah

    An Analysis on the Implementation of Posbindu PTM Program at Beringin Raya Community Health Center Bengkulu

    Background: The implementation of Integrated Health Post or Pos Binaan Terpadu (Posbindu) Program for Non-Communicable Diseases is an effective and efficient strategy to control risk factor. The low interest in visiting Posbindu was shown from the number of visits that decreased in 2017 (75.4%) and 2018 (64.4%). This study aims to analyze the Integrated Health Post for Non-Communicable Diseases or Pos Binaan Terpadu Penyakit Tidak Menular (Posbindu PTM) program at Beringin Raya Community Health Center in Bengkulu. Method: This study used qualitative and descriptive approach, and was conducted in March-August 2020 using in-depth interview techniques. Results: The implementation of the Posbindu program was in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Funding for this program came from the Health Operational Assistance. However, it was not sufficient. Posbindu activities were held once a month and used 5 steps system (registration, health interviews, health checks, referrals, and health education). The examination results was only recorded on the visiting book, and they did not have specific monitoring tools. The supervision of the implementation and the evaluation were discussed in the monthly mini workshop. In addition, the facilities and infrastructure were still inadequate. There was a shortage medicine supplies, and the community participation in Posbindu PTM was still low. Conclusion: Posbindu PTM has been implemented according to the SOP, but the overall implementation such as funding, drug procurement, infrastructure, and the number of Posbindu visits is still insufficient

    Utilization of Puskesmas in Efforts to Prevent COVID-19 in Bengkulu City

    Background: Puskesmas as First Level Health Facilities (FKTP) plays a vital role during the Covid-19 pandemic in preventing and controlling the number of Covid-19 cases by anticipating, detecting, responding to events. However, at this time, the puskesmas are still underutilized by the community. The highest confirmed positive cases in Bengkulu City were in the Gading Cempaka District, with 990 cases. This study aimed to determine the variables related to the utilization of puskesmas in Bengkulu City. Methods: This research was quantitative research with a cross-sectional study design. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to respondents using an accidental sampling technique executed in March-August 2021. The research population was the entire community of Bengkulu City, with a sample of 110 respondents from the Gading Cempaka District, Bengkulu City. Data were analyzed by univariate to multivariate logistic regression. Results: The results show that 88 respondents (78.2%) have utilized the puskesmas, as many as 86 (78.2%) were female, 86 respondents (60.9%) belonged to the young age group, respondents with higher education were 73 respondents ( 66.4%), 73 respondents (66.4%) worked and as many as 79 respondents (71.8%) have income <UMP. The bivariate analysis results showed that the factors related to the utilization of the puskesmas (p<0.05) were variables of age, education, occupation, and income despite no relationship between gender, distance, knowledge, and family support (p>α). The results of the multivariate analysis showed that education was the dominant factor influencing the utilization of the puskesmas with (p-value = 0.010; B = 2.707; 95% CI = 1.892-118.569). Conclusion: The community has taken advantage of the puskesmas in terms of preventing Covid-19. The utilization of puskesmas is affected by age and education level

    Analisis Faktor Risiko yang Berhubungan dengan Kejadian Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD)

    Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui analisis faktor risiko yang berhubungan dengan kejadian Demam Berdarah Dengue (DBD) di wilayah Puskesmas Muara Bangkahulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kasus-kontrol dan metodologi analitik observasional. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi-square. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian diketahui ada dua faktor yaitu retensi air (p-value = 0,004) OR = 7,000 dan perilaku responden (p-value = 0,004). 0,005) Ord = 7.000 6.760 sesuai dengan ini. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hubungan kejadian penyakit demam berdarah di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Muara Bangkahulu dengan koefisien penyimpanan air dan perilaku masyarakat.     EDUKASI BOOKLET TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP DAN PEMANFAATAN AIR SUNGAI KABUPATEN LEBONG

    Pendahuluan: Pengelolaan emas dengan mengunakan alat yang di sebut dengan proses almalgamasi dilakukan dengan cara tradisional dengan mengunakan merkuri (Hg) hingga menghasilkan limbah yang umumnya masih mengandung merkuri dibuang langsung ke air sungai dan bersentuhan dengan biota air dan manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui diketahui pengaruh edukasi booklet terhadap pengetahuan, sikap dan pemanfaatan masyarakat tentang bahaya merkuri. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Experiment Design dengan metode kuantitatif analisis statistik yaitu uji Nonparametrik test Uji Wilcoxon. rancangan ini mengunkan 2 kelompok (KK dan KE) dengan pengukuran pretest-posttest dengan jumlah sampel yaitu sebanyak 36 sampel yang terbagi atas kelompok eksprimen 18 dan kelompok kontrol 18, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Tambang Saweak Kecamatan Pinang Belapis Kabupaten Lebong yang di lakukan pada tanggal 28 Febuari-01 Maret 2022 dengan mengunakan istrumen berupa kuisioner, booklet, pena dan kamera. Hasil dan Pembahasan: Pada hasil analisis univariat diperoleh mayoritas umur responden berumur 37-47 tahun, jenis kelamin responden adalah perempuan dengan 36 responden, dengan pendidikan terakhir mayoritas responden adalah SD. Hasil Adanya pengaruh edukasi booklet tentang bahaya merkuri terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap. Kesimpulan: Sebagai upaya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat, edukasi menggunkan booklet efektif untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat

    This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards Covid-19 prevention behavior at the Pancasila Islamic Boarding School in Bengkulu City. This research method is a quantitative research with cross sectional method. The results of the univariate analysis showed that 55.9% of students had good knowledge, 50.00% of students had an attitude of supporting Covid-19 prevention, and 55.9% of students behaved well in preventing Covid-19. The results of the chi-square test obtained that the p-value between knowledge and attitudes with Covid-19 related to Covid-19 prevention was 0.539 and 1,000. In conclusion, there is no relationship between knowledge and attitudes with Covid-19 prevention behavior at the Bengkulu City Pancasila Islamic Boarding School.   Keywords: COVID-19 Prevention, Knowledge, Attitud

    Persepsi Pasien tentang Kualitas Pelayanan Rumah Sakit pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19

    This study aims to determine the patient's perception of the quality of service at the Harapan and Doa Hospital in Bengkulu City during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design used was quantitative using a cross-sectional design. Overall, the results showed that the patient's perception of the five dimensions of service quality was still not good, namely 57.1% reliability, 63.8% responsiveness, 56.2% assurance, 50.5% empathy, and 55.2% physical evidence. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a significant effect between age (p-value = 0.001) , gender (p-value = 0.001), education (p-value = 0.001), occupation (p-value = 0.001) on patients' perceptions of quality. service. In conclusion, most of the respondents stated that the Outpatient Polyclinic of Harapan and Doa Hospital Bengkulu City was still not good.
