Influência dos teores de CO2 e O2 na corrente de transição globular-goticular utilizando misturas a base de argônio durante a soldagem GMAW de arame ER70S-6 The Influence of the CO2 e O2 contend on globular-spray transition current when using argon-base blends in GMAW of ER70S-6 wire
The way in which the metal is transferred from the electrode tip to the weld pool affects the MIG/MAG process productivity and stability, as well as the weld bead geometrical characteristics. Among the modes of metal transfer, a very important parameter to know is the value of globular-spray transition current, which occurs in a narrow band of current and changes considerably the frequency and diameter of the transferred drops, therefore, the process stability. The transition current was experimentally investigated using techniques of at high speed video camera associated with a new proposed methodology for transition current identification applied to binary and ternary mixtures of O2 and CO2 the basis of Ar
Rhetorical Structure and Function in The Anatomy of Melancholy
In writing The Anatomy of Melancholy Robert Burton was working within the system of classical rhetoric as revived in the Renaissance, specifically the epideictic genus. A juxtaposition of the topics, arguments, and tripartite form employed by Burton with the treatment of epideictic in Aristotle's Rhetoric, as well as with aspects of the Roman and Hellenistic rhetorical traditions, shows how Burton has playfully adapted Renaissance conceptions of epideictic rhetoric forencyclopaedic, satirical, andself-expressive purposes. The function of rhetoric in the Anatomy is both to 'dissect' the corpus of knowledge about melancholy and to 'show forth' the author's own melancholic condition. © International Society for History of Rhetoric
