This study aims to determine the perceptions of students majoring in Accounting in Bandung on the factors that customers consider in meeting the needs of banking services. Purposive sampling technique was used for the research sample, namely sampling based on the ease of data collection. The data were taken from respondents, namely students, from the Department of Accounting at Maranatha Christian University and Telkom University, with a total sample size of 77 people. The results showed that students majoring in accounting in Bandung perceived that the factors of transaction facilities and ease, services and service facilities, burdens and benefits and security were considered by customers in meeting the needs of banking services. The results of this study also show that there is no difference in perceptions between students with a GPA ≥ 3.0 and those with a GPA. 3.0. From the findings, it can be identified that respondents interpreted customers as individuals. Based on the analysis of the questions / statements for each item of the questionnaire, it shows that the security factor, as represented by the presence of CCTV or an alert security guard, timeliness of service, the number of branch offices owned and the bank can accept salary payments. The first factor to be considered in meeting the needs for banking services. The most recent factors to consider are banks operating on weekend, being able to use shared ATMs, competitive interest rates for savings or satisfactory profit sharing and the ease of obtaining loans

EFFECT OF MOTIVATION AND JOB SATISFACTION ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES IN BANDUNG

This study aims to determine how the motivation, job satisfaction and employee performance at private universities in Bandung and the effect of motivation and satisfaction on performance. Using the purposive sampling method, a research sample of 81 people consisting of 42 lecturers and 39 non-lecturers has been successfully obtained. The results showed that the motivation, job satisfaction, and employee performance at private universities in Bandung were high, but the group of lecturers had much higher motivation, job satisfaction, and performance than the group of non-lecturers. Motivation and job satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at private universities in Bandung. Motivation and job satisfaction partially have a significant effect on employee performance at private universities in Bandung. However, based on a partial analysis, it is also revealed that the motivation of non-lecturer employees, with a significance level (α) of 5%, had no significant effect on the performance of the non-lecturer employees. The follow-up findings show that the group of non-lecturers is better at maintaining punctuality in clocking in to the office and in establishing organizational relationships with their superiors than the group of lecturers

THE EFFECT OF TRAINING AND WORK DISCIPLINE ON EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE AT EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN BANDUNG

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of training and work discipline on employee performance at educational institutions in the city of Bandung. Job training and work discipline are the main factors that are thought to have a positive effect on work performance at companies in general. However, does the same thing happen to non-profit organizations such as educational institutions? Samples were taken from non-educator employees at educational institutions in Bandung, as many as 59 respondents through a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that training and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance at educational institutions in Bandung. In addition, work discipline partially has a significant effect on work performance, but partially training does not have a significant effect on the work performance of non-educator employees at educational institutions in Bandung
