Revising regularisation with linear approximation term for compressive sensing improvement

    Get PDF
In this Letter, the authors propose a novel revised regularisation to improve the performance of compressive sensing (CS) reconstruction. They suppose that a specific regularisation term is insufficient to accommodate the prior information of CS while it can be improved by further imposing a linear approximation term. They also prove that the revised regularisation is substantially equivalent to the CS preprocessing methods. They conduct extensive experiments on various CS algorithms, which show the effectiveness of their revised regularisation

Characterization of CoTiO3 Nanocrystallites Prepared by Homogeneous Precipitation Method

    Get PDF
Nanocrystalline cobalt titanate (CoTiO3) has been synthesized from a well-mixed precursor. The precursor was prepared by a homogeneous precipitation method, in which urea was used as the precipitator. The as-synthesized sample is a mixture of CoTiO3 and rutile nanocrystallites with mean sizes of around 50 nm. It strongly absorbs visible light in the wavelength range of 500-690 nm besides ultraviolet light (wavelength < 370 nm). We found the synthetic CoTiO3 is a semiconducting material with a direct band gap of 2.53 eV. The green CoTiO3 has two absorbance peaks at the wavelengths of 537 and 606 nm, which correspond to the photon energies of 2.31 and 2.05 eV, respectively. In the title compound, C26H16FN3O3, the dihedral angle between the anthryl and fluorophenyl groups is 37.8 (1)°. With respect to the imidazolyl group, the twist angles between the imidazolyl group and the anthryl unit and between the imidazoly group and the fluorophenyl group are 64.4 (1) and 74.5 (1)°, respectively

The prevalence of autism spectrum disorders in China: A comprehensive meta-analysis

    Get PDF
There are conflicting prevalence estimates of autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) in mainland China (China thereafter). This study is a comprehensive meta-analysis of the pooled prevalence of ASDs in the general population in China. Study investigators independently conducted a systematic literature search of the following databases: PubMed, EMBASE, PsycINFO, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Chinese biomedical literature service system, and Wan Fang. Studies reporting prevalence of ASDs and autism in Chinese population were identified and analysed using the Comprehensive Meta-Analysis program with the random effects model. Forty-four studies were included in the meta-analysis comprising 2,337,321 subjects of whom 46.66 % were females. The mean age of subjects ranged from 1.6 to 8 years. Based on diagnostic criteria the pooled prevalence of ASDs was 39.23 per 10,000 (95% CI: 28.44-50.03 per 10,000, I2=89.2%); specifically, the prevalence of autism was 10.18 per 10,000 (95% CI: 8.46-11.89 per 10,000, I2=92.5%). Subgroup analyses revealed significant difference in the prevalence of ASDs between genders (72.77 per 10,000 in males vs. 16.45 per 10,000 in females). In conclusion, the prevalence of ASDs and autism in China was found generally lower than those reported in other countries. Further studies are needed to clarify the variation in prevalence
