    Research on the Reliability Tolerance Analysis Method of Electromagnetic Relay in Aerospace

    AbstractElectromagnetic relay in aerospace is one of the main electronic components in aerospace electronic systems for information transfer, control and power distribution, and its reliability will influence the reliability of the whole aerospace electronic systems. Reliability design is the key technique of electromagnetic relay reliability engineering. This paper synthetically analyzes the present reliability design methods, and presents the reliability tolerance analyzing mathematic models of electromagnetic force basing on orthogonal design, mechanical spring force basing on probability statistics theory, and matching characteristics of electromagnetic force and mechanical spring force basing on method of stress-strength interference. Some instructive conclusions are draw by researching on the reliability tolerance of some type electromagnetic relay in aerospace

    Preparation and characterization of carboxyl-group functionalized superparamagnetic nanoparticles and t he potential for bio-applications

    In this work, a method was developed to prepare monodispersed carboxyl-group functionalized magnetic nanoparticles. Nanosized maghemite (y-Fe2O3, 7.0 ± 1.0 nm) was synthesized using thermal co-precipitation method and subsequently coated with functional groups by one-step suspension copolymerization. The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy study and thermogravitmetric analyses confirmed the successful functionalization of carboxyl groups on the surface of magnetic nanocrystals. The surface chemistry makes it possible for SPRI (solid phase reversible immobilization)-based DNA purification. Thus the nanoparticles were employed to isolate plasmid DNA from bacterial cell culture and the results demonstrated its applicability in DNA preparation

    Effect Analysis of High-efficiency Dust-free Cleaning Screen in Grain Cleaning

    In order to effectively resolve the conflicts between environmental protection,output and benefit during grain cleaning,the vibration screening,specific gravity air separation,cyclone separation,pulse dust removal,closed-loop air circulation and other dust removal technologies are integrated.Efficient dust-free cleaning screens are developed.To achieve effective impurity removal,the problems of excessive dust concentration in grain depots and enterprises’ grain processing and cleaning sites are aimed to be solved.Field tests on the grain depots show that the average impurity content of the grain can be controlled under 0.7% after cleaning,and the dust suppression effect is as follows:dust concentration at 5 m of the operation range lower than 30 mg/m³,15 m lower than 20 mg/m³ while 25 m lower than 10 mg/m³.Therefore,the cleaning effect and dust removal effect are better than common cleaning mechine

    Emerging natural and tailored perovskite-type mixed oxides–based catalysts for CO2 conversions

    The rapid economic and societal development have led to unprecedented energy demand and consumption resulting in the harmful emission of pollutants. Hence, the conversion of greenhouse gases into valuable chemicals and fuels has become an urgent challenge for the scientific community. In recent decades, perovskite-type mixed oxide-based catalysts have attracted significant attention as efficient CO2 conversion catalysts due to the characteristics of both reversible oxygen storage capacity and stable structure compared to traditional oxide-supported catalysts. In this review, we hand over a comprehensive overview of the research for CO2 conversion by these emerging perovskite-type mixed oxide-based catalysts. Three main CO2 conversions, namely reverse water gas shift reaction, CO2 methanation, and CO2 reforming of methane have been introduced over perovskite-type mixed oxide-based catalysts and their reaction mechanisms. Different approaches for promoting activity and resisting carbon deposition have also been discussed, involving increased oxygen vacancies, enhanced dispersion of active metal, and fine-tuning strong metal-support interactions.     Allele Size Miscalling due to the Pull-Up Effect Influencing Size Standard Calibration in Capillary Electrophoresis: A Case Study Using HEX Fluorescent Dye in Microsatellites

    Microsatellites are important genetic markers and have been broadly employed in many genetic studies. Currently, polymorphisms in microsatellites are often detected by an automated system of capillary electrophoresis with fluorescent dyes. In this situation, different dye combinations may cause pull-up/bleed-through problems, which introduce noise signals from one dye channel into another, causing genotyping errors. Here, we report the detection of such a problem at two microsatellite loci that used the HEX dye. Using three datasets, we tested for noise effects in four allele-scoring programmes: Genemapper, Genemarker, Gelquest and Fragman. We found that, because some allele sizes were identical or close to the size of one of the internal size standards, all four programmes gave allele size calling errors due to wrongly identifying pull-up signals as the internal size standard. In addition, because allele miscalling in this study was caused by the fluorescent dye that the microsatellites used introducing noise of the same colour as the internal size standard used, the pull-up correction function in Genemapper, Genemarker and Fragman failed to deal with this. Considering that pull-up peak scoring errors can occur with any dye colour, the phenomenon is not limited to the current HEX dye. Using different software and visual scoring of each result will allow accurate sizing of microsatellite alleles

    Phenotypic Differentiation Is Associated with Gender Plasticity and Its Responsive Delay to Environmental Changes in Alternanthera philoxeroides – Phenotypic Differentiation in Alligator Weed

    Phenotypic plasticity is common in many taxa, and it may increase an organism's fitness in heterogeneous environments. However, in some cases, the frequency of environmental changes can be faster than the ability of the individual to produce new adaptive phenotypes. The importance of such a time delay in terms of individual fitness and species adaptability has not been well studied. Here, we studied gender plasticity of Alternanthera philoxeroides to address this issue through a reciprocal transplant experiment. We observed that the genders of A. philoxeroides were plastic and reversible between monoclinous and pistillody depending on habitats, the offspring maintained the maternal genders in the first year but changed from year 2 to 5, and there was a cubic relationship between the rate of population gender changes and environmental variations. This relationship indicates that the species must overcome a threshold of environmental variations to switch its developmental path ways between the two genders. This threshold and the maternal gender stability cause a significant delay of gender changes in new environments. At the same time, they result in and maintain the two distinct habitat dependent gender phenotypes. We also observed that there was a significant and adaptive life-history differentiation between monoclinous and pistillody individuals and the gender phenotypes were developmentally linked with the life-history traits. Therefore, the gender phenotypes are adaptive. Low seed production, seed germination failure and matching phenotypes to habitats by gender plasticity indicate that the adaptive phenotypic diversity in A. philoxeroides may not be the result of ecological selection, but of gender plasticity. The delay of the adaptive gender phenotype realization in changing environments can maintain the differentiation between gender systems and their associated life-history traits, which may be an important component in evolution of novel traits and taxonomic diversity

    Neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy combined with immunotherapy for locally advanced rectal cancer: A new era for anal preservation

    For locally advanced (T3-4/N+M0) rectal cancer (LARC), neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT) followed by total mesorectal excision (TME) is the standard treatment. It was demonstrated to decrease the local recurrence rate and increase the tumor response grade. However, the distant metastasis remains an unresolved issue. And the demand for anus preservation and better quality of life increases in recent years. Radiotherapy and immunotherapy can be supplement to each other and the combination of the two treatments has a good theoretical basis. Recently, multiple clinical trials are ongoing in terms of the combination of nCRT and immunotherapy in LARC. It was reported that these trials achieved promising short-term efficacy in both MSI-H and MSS rectal cancers, which could further improve the rate of clinical complete response (cCR) and pathological complete response (pCR), so that increase the possibility of ‘Watch and Wait (W&W)’ approach. However, the cCR and pCR is not always consistent, which occurs more frequent when nCRT is combined with immunotherapy. Thus, the efficacy evaluation after neoadjuvant therapy is an important issue for patient selection of W&W approach. Evaluating the cCR accurately needs the combination of multiple traditional examinations, new detective methods, such as PET-CT, ctDNA-MRD and various omics studies. And finding accurate biomarkers can help guide the risk stratification and treatment decisions. And large-scale clinical trials need to be performed in the future to demonstrate the surprising efficacy and to explore the long-term prognosis
