The title of this research is the role of Government and Society in the Implementation of Cable TV in Pekanbaru City Year 2015-2016 Based on the discovery of the phenomenon that occurred in the field is still the Cable TV Company that is merely licensed Broadcasting Implementation (IPP) but have already quoted premiums paid to thousands of customers Pekanbaru like Hope Blooms Multi Vision and Vision, and the persistence of the Cable TV company that is operational is not taking care of broadcast licenses but has long operated the information found that although not currently have approval Cable TV company has been able to encompass thousands of customers in the city of Pekanbaru. The type used in this research is descriptive qualitative survey techniques. Data collection techniques used in this study was observational, a note of Field, documentation and interviews with informants research. Location of the research conducted at the Regional Office of the Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (Commission) Riau.Based on the results of the analysis of the research data in order to uncover and answer research questions related to the role of government and the public in the administration of cable TV in the city of Pekanbaru can be concluded that the Government is KPID have done their job well but KPID also can not work with members are strictly limited to certain areas reach areas, the government is in dire need of cooperation with the community in which the participation of the public in supervising companies that are not good or are not abiding by the rules that have been set

Nonlinear ER effects in an ac applied field

The electric field used in most electrorheological (ER) experiments is usually quite high, and nonlinear ER effects have been theoretically predicted and experimentally measured recently. A direct method of measuring the nonlinear ER effects is to examine the frequency dependence of the same effects. For a sinusoidal applied field, we calculate the ac response which generally includes higher harmonics. In is work, we develop a multiple image formula, and calculate the total dipole moments of a pair of dielectric spheres, embedded in a nonlinear host. The higher harmonics due to the nonlinearity are calculated systematically.Comment: Presented at Conference on Computational Physics (CCP2000), held at Gold Coast, Australia from 3-8, December 200

A study of the ionogram derived effective scale height around the ionospheric hmF2

Get PDF
International audienceThe diurnal, seasonal, and solar activity variations of the ionogram derived scale height around the ionospheric F-layer peak (Hm) are statistically analyzed at Wuhan (114.4° E, 30.6° N) and the yearly variations of Hm are also investigated for Wuhan and 12 other stations where Hm data are available. Hm, as a measure of the slope of the topside electron number density profiles, is calculated from the bottomside electron density profiles derived from vertical sounding ionograms using the UMLCAR SAO-Explorer. Results indicate that the value of median Hm increases with increasing solar flux. Hm is highest in summer and lowest in winter during the daytime, while it exhibits a much smaller seasonal variation at night. A common feature presented at these 13 stations is that Hm undergoes a yearly annual variation with a maximum in summer during the daytime. The annual variation becomes much weaker or disappears from late night to pre-sunrise. In addition, a moderate positive correlation is found between Hm with hmF2 and a strong correlation between the bottomside thickness parameter B0 and Hm. The latter provides a new and convenient way for empirical modeling the topside ionospheric shape only from the established B0 parameter set

Responses of equatorial anomaly to the October-November 2003 superstorms

International audienceThe responses of Equatorial Ionization Anomaly (EIA) to the superstorms of October-November 2003 were investigated using the total electron content (TEC) measured with global positioning system (GPS) receivers in China, Southeast Asia, Australian (CSAA), and the American regions. Enhanced EIA was seen to be correlated with the southward turning of the interplanetary magnetic field Bz. In both the CSAA and American regions, EIA was intensified, corresponding to a large increase in the F-layer peak height (hmF2) measured by ionosonde and digisonde at middle and equatorial latitudes. However, the enhanced EIA was shown to be more significant during the daytime in the American region, which was associated with a series of large substorms when Bz was stable southward. The prompt penetration electric field and the wind disturbances dynamo electric field are suggested to be responsible for this observation according to current theory, although some features cannot be totally decipherable. Both the ionogram and magnetometer data show the existence of a weak shielding effect whose effect still needs further study. A clear asymmetric ionospheric response was shown in our TEC observations, even though it was only one month after autumnal equinox. The southern EIA crest was totally obliterated on 29 and 30 October in the CSAA region and on 31 October in the American region. Ion temperatures from the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) spacecraft revealed that the unequal energy injection at the polar region might be the reason for this effect. It is concluded that different physical processes have varying degrees of importance on the evolution of EIA in the CSAA and American regions

Searching for Dark Matter Signals in the Left-Right Symmetric Gauge Model with CP Symmetry

We investigate singlet scalar dark matter (DM) candidate in a left-right symmetric gauge model with two Higgs bidoublets (2HBDM) in which the stabilization of the DM particle is induced by the discrete symmetries P and CP. According to the observed DM abundance, we predict the DM direct and indirect detection cross sections for the DM mass range from 10 GeV to 500 GeV. We show that the DM indirect detection cross section is not sensitive to the light Higgs mixing and Yukawa couplings except the resonance regions. The predicted spin-independent DM-nucleon elastic scattering cross section is found to be significantly dependent on the above two factors. Our results show that the future DM direct search experiments can cover the most parts of the allowed parameter space. The PAMELA antiproton data can only exclude two very narrow regions in the 2HBDM. It is very difficult to detect the DM direct or indirect signals in the resonance regions due to the Breit-Wigner resonance effect.Comment: 24 pages, 8 figures. minor changes and a reference added, published in Phys. Dust ion-acoustic shocks in quantum dusty pair-ion plasmas

The formation of dust ion-acoustic shocks (DIASs) in a four-component quantum plasma whose constituents are electrons, both positive and negative ions and immobile charged dust grains, is studied. The effects of both the dissipation due to kinematic viscosity and the dispersion caused by the charge separation as well as the quantum tunneling due to the Bohm potential are taken into account. The propagation of small but finite amplitude dust ion-acoustic waves (DIAWs) is governed by the Korteweg-de Vries-Burger (KdVB) equation which exhibits both oscillatory and monotonic shocks depending not only on the viscosity parameters, but also on the quantum parameter H (the ratio of the electron plasmon to the electron Fermi energy) and the positive to negative ion density ratio. Large amplitude stationary shocks are recovered for a Mach number exceeding its critical value. Unlike the small amplitude shocks, quite a smaller value of the viscosity parameter, H and the density ratio may lead to the large amplitude monotonic shock strucutres. The results could be of importance in astrophysical and laser produced plasmas.Comment: 15 pages, 5 figure
