Global generalized solutions for Maxwell-alpha and Euler-alpha equations

We study initial-boundary value problems for the Lagrangian averaged alpha models for the equations of motion for the corotational Maxwell and inviscid fluids in 2D and 3D. We show existence of (global in time) dissipative solutions to these problems. We also discuss the idea of dissipative solution in an abstract Hilbert space framework.Comment: 27 pages, to appear in Nonlinearit

SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS IN RUSSIA: PROBLEMS AND WAYS OF DEVELOPMENT

The article presents the results of a study, which examines the basic definitions of small and medium-sized businesses, as well as the current state and challenges. In order to ensure sustainable growth and development in the short and long-term period the six initiatives have been proposed. We have considered criteria for classifying enterprises to small and medium-sized businesses. Key features of the current level of development of small and medium business in the Russian Federation have been revealed, a number of measures to be undertaken for the development of enterprises has been proposed

The current state of the problem of soft tissue defects replacement in the lower extremities in conditions of chronic osteomyelitis

Based on the data of scientific literature, the current state of the problem of soft tissue defects replacement in the lower extremities in conditions of chronic osteomyelitis has been analyzed. Taking into account certain requirements for the replacement of defects of this nature, the following reconstructive tasks have been indicated. First of all, for adequate restoration of the skin with simultaneous relief of the purulent-necrotic process, it is necessary to use blood-supplied tissue complexes, which, if possible, should be formed from tissues similar to those surrounding the defect. The predominant use of technically and economically beneficial interventions is of great importance. The most suitable are loco-regional flaps with axial blood supply, among which the most promising are perforant flaps. It is necessary to develop an algorithm for defects reconstruction using loco-regional perforant flaps, depending on the defect area. It is also necessary to conduct a comparative analysis of the anatomical advantages and effectiveness of using various perforant and insular flaps on the vascular pedicle. A one-stage orthoplastic approach will allow the most effective use of the achievements of reconstructive plastic surgery in orthopedics to restore limb function, which will improve the results of treatment of patients

On iterating concentration and periodic regimes at the anomalous diffusion in polymers

Diffusion of a penetrating liquid in a polymeric material does not often satisfy the classical diffusion equations and requires taking relaxational (viscoelastic) properties of the polymer into account. We investigate a boundary value problem on a bounded domain in space for the set of equations modelling this abnormal diffusion. It is proved that, for any sufficiently short time segment and any stress prescribed at the beginning of this segment, there exists a global in time weak solution of the boundary value problem (a pair: concentration - stress) such that the concentrations at the beginning and at the end of the segment are the same. Under an additional assumption on coefficients, existence of time-periodic weak solutions (without any restrictions of the period length) is shown.Comment: 26 pages, in Russia

БИОЛОГИЧЕСКИЕ ОСОБЕННОСТИ ЛЮМИНАЛЬНОГО В ФЕНОТИПА РАКА МОЛОЧНОЙ ЖЕЛЕЗЫ

The modern review of literatures devoted to molecular and genetic and immunological features of tumors of lyuminalny in a subtype of a breast cancer is presented in article. Tumors of this phenotype meet in 14–18% of cases, have considerably the worst forecast and a high probability of progressing,  than lyuminalny аnd subtype. Deeper understanding  of biology of this type of a breast cancer will allow to optimize and povyshit further efficiency of treatment at this category of patients.

We have studied bone marrow lymphocytes subpopulations in 67 patients with breast cancer and 13 patients with benign processes in the mammary gland. Morphological study of the cellular composition of the bone marrow and immunological analysis of lymphocyte subpopulations have been done. Comparative characterization of lymphocyte subpopulations in the bone marrow of patients with breast cancer and benign breast diseases was done by flow cytometry. The gate of Mature lymphocytes (CD45++) studied subpopulations of T cells (CD3), b cells (CD19), NK cells (CD56+CD3–). Among T lymphocytes (CD3+) was studied TCRγδ and TCRαβ cells, a subpopulation of CD4, CD8, CD4+, CD25+ T-regulatory cells. Within В-lymphocytes (CD19+) was studied subpopulations CD10, CD38, CD5 lymphocytes. We revealed a significant increase of CD5+, CD38+ B-cells in patients with breast cancer compared to benign tumors. Index of maturation of erythrocytes was significantly higher in BC 0.96 in comparison with benign processes 0.92. When comparing immunological data with histological structure of the tumor in the group of breast cancer patients, it was noted that the percent of CD10+ B-lymphocytes was significantly higher in infiltrative ductal cancer in comparison to infiltrative lobular carcinoma (19.3 and 8.0 % accordingly; p = 0.024)

Octahedral molybdenum cluster as a photoactive antimicrobial additive to a fluoroplastic

Finding methods that fight bacterial infection or contamination, while minimising our reliance on antibiotics is one of the most pressing needs of this century. Although the utilisation of UV-C light and strong oxidising agents, such as bleach, are still efficacious methods for eliminating bacterial surface contamination, both methods present severe health and/or environmental hazards. Materials with intrinsic photodynamic activity (i.e. a material's ability upon photoexcitation to convert molecular oxygen into reactive oxygen species such as singlet oxygen), which work with light within the visible photomagnetic spectrum could offer a significantly safer alternative. Here we present a new, bespoke molybdenum cluster (Bu4N)2[Mo6I8(n-C7F15COO)6], which is both efficient in the generation of singlet oxygen upon photoirradiation and compatible with the fluoropolymer (F23-L) known for its good oxygen permeability. Thus, (Bu4N)2[Mo6I8(n-C7F15COO)6]/F23-L mixtures have been solution-processed to give homogenous films of smooth and fibrous morphologies and which displayed high photoinduced antibacterial activity against four common pathogens under visible light irradiation. These materials thus have potential in applications ranging from antibacterial coatings to filtration membranes and air conditioners to prevent spread of bacterial infections
