Simulation of gamma-initiated showers
The main average characteristics of muon, electron and hadron components of extensive air showers were calculate using a standard model of nuclear interaction. The obtained results are in good agreement with Tien Shan experimental data
Diethyl [(9-anthryl)(4-methylanilino)methyl]phosphonate
The title compound, C26H28NO3P, crystallized with two independent molecules in the asymmetric unit. The structural features (bond lengths and angles) of the two molecules are almost identical. The interplanar angle between the anthracene and toluidine rings is similar in the two molecules, with values of 82.92 (5) and 80.70 (5)°. In the crystal, both molecules form inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds. Three of the four ethyl groups are disordered over two sets of sites, the major components having occupancies of 0.748 (15), 0.77 (4) and 0.518 (19)
rac-Dimethyl [(9-anthryl)(4-methylanilino)methyl]phosphonate
The title compound, C24H24NO3P, crystallizes as a racemate with two molecules in the asymmetric unit. The structural features (bond lengths and angles) of the two molecules are almost identical. The dihedral angle between the anthracene and toluidine rings is similar in the two molecules, with values of 48.36 (9) and 51.15 (9)°. The methyl groups of one of the methoxy groups in one molecule is disordered over two sets of sites, the major component having a site occupancy of 0.636 (3). In the crystal, both molecules are linked into inversion dimers by pairs of N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds
ETHICAL DIMENSIONS OF PROFESSIONAL DUTY IN NURSING
Over time, nursing practice has emerged as an independent profession based on theoretical knowledge,
practical experience, and scientific justification. The professional duty of medical specialists corresponds to
the rights of the patient. To be professionally responsible means to make decisions about what is good or
bad, right or wrong, taking into account the final result of the actions - the greatest benefit to the patient.
PURPOSE: The purpose of this paper is to examine the ethical aspects of professional duty in the nursing
profession by analyzing international and national codes of ethics.
METHODS: In order to achieve this goal, we have used general and private science methods and approaches,
including documentary method, analysis and synthesis, comparative method.
RESULTS: Various nursing codes of ethics were reviewed- The Nightingale Pledge, The ICN Code of Ethics
for Nurses, The ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements, The Code of Professional
ethics for Nurses, Midwives and Associated Medical Specialists in the Republic of Bulgaria, Guidance for
good medical practice. The codes were analyzed in a comparative aspect in terms of volume, content, and
practical orientation.
CONCLUSION: Codes of ethics are meaningless without professionals who are motivated to act morally in
every situation containing ethical issue. Nursing students must understand their role as responsible future
professionals and be familiar with the content of the Ethical code and the Guidance of good medical practice.
The implementation of the ethical norms is controlled by specially formed bodies of the professional
organization
Opportunities for the applications of FMEA Model in logistics processes in Bulgarian enterprises
The article explores the use of FMEA method in the logistics processes in manufacturing plants in Bulgaria. The surveyed enterprises have a system ISO 9001 and apply different methods of analysis and assessment of logistics processes. The purpose of this study is to present a model for improving the reliability of logistics processes through the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method.
An inquiry among 14 organizations in the implementation of FMEA was conducted. The results show that FMEA is not used for assessment in logistics processes and provides useful insights for decision-making to improve the reliability of supply. A framework based on the survey is presented for determining the reliability of logistics processes in manufacturing plants. The study demonstrates the applicability of the method in logistics processes and the role FMEA can play in assessing logistics processes
Cluster analysis of Bulgarian meat processing industry
The goal of research is to perform a cluster analisys of the Bulgarian meat industry from the point of view of the logistics development. In order to study the state and development of the meat industry logistics in Bulgarian meat processing organizations, a wide range of statistical and analytical methods are used (comparison, group average, graphical method, cluster analysis and others). The date processing in done by a computer program for statistical date processing - SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences). The object of the industry is the meat processing companies in Bulgariq. According to the MFA Agro statictics for November 2010, the meat processing industry includes 65 factories for cutting red meat, 30 white meat slaughterhouses, 283 meat processing factories and the minced meat factories - meat preparations and mechanically separated meat, making a total of 378 companies in the industry. The result of the study show that logistics plays a vital role for the meat processing organizations, because of the growing demand for quality, price and speed of delivery of products. Successful management of logistics allows time saving through faster movement of information, details and products from one process to another
The Fundamental Significance of The Social and Ethical Criteria for Primary Care Quality Assessment
A vital aspect of the medical activity on which the medical care quality directly depends has been the doctor-patient relationship; it is of complex nature and is formed by a number of factors: professional ethics, communication culture of the doctor, the patients’ confidence in the doctor, etc. From an ethical point of view, the confidence of the patient has been an ethical indicator and criterion of particular importance for the quality and interpersonal relationship between the doctor and the patient. Data from the overview of a number of papers, as well as data from our own empirical study, has indicated the presence of a number of unresolved problems in this relationship. That has raised the significant necessity of a more thorough and comprehensive training of the medical staffin professional medical ethics in undergraduate and postgraduate training
