Impact of Swiss Consumers\u27 Product Involvement on Brand Loyalty
Product involvement has been studied for 30 years, but studies connecting it to brand loyalty in Swiss hotels are missing. SOFTWAREQUAL: The Case of SPSS Statistical Software
Anecdotal evidence suggests that todayâs students (Generation Y members) do well with the internet, but struggle with applied software. Zeithaml, Parasuraman and Malhotra (2000) developed service quality measures for service encounters in an electronic environment (e.g.SITEQUAL). This preliminary study measures the gap between GenY studentsâ expectation of and satisfaction with SPSS software. Altogether, n=43 students participated in the experiment. The results suggest that GenY students seek functionality and not fancy gimmicks in application software. While overall reporting satisfaction with SPSS, some criteria do not meet very high expectations and companies should note and address these gaps

Evidence of local gastronomy in rural destinations: A cross-European study
In 2020, the Coronavirus pandemic led to domestic travel to rural destinations. Local gastronomy is key to tourists\u27 expectations, perceptions, and images of rural destinations\u27 authenticity. Empirical data supporting evidence of local gastronomy in rural communities are lacking. This archival research focused on n=549 Cittaslow and non-Cittaslow towns and cities in 19 European countries. Rural towns offer more local gastronomy than cities, and Cittaslow-certified towns more than non-Cittaslow. All rural towns should focus on expanding their local gastronomy, and Cittaslow cities even more so
