    This study aimed to describe the elements that build up the beauty of the sound of a mantra in mantra sinyaruba'atn Dayak Kanayatn and knowing diction and function in the rituals of Dayak Kanayatn. The method used is descriptive method qualitative form. The approach used is structural semiotic approach to analyze every research problem. The results of the data analysis is the choice of words used are common words, special words and concrete word choice. Rima used include full rima, rima absolute, half rhyme, assonance rhyme, rhyme konsonansi, desonansi rima, rima form, rhyme alliteration, rhyme chain, rima beginning, middle rhyme, and rhymes akhir.fungdi mantra includes projection function and function as a tool the enactment of coercive social norms. Disposable covers an area of storytelling environment sinyaruba'atn mantra used by 4 villages and the speaker's situation spells are locals who got the gift directly by Jubata (God)

    Developing a Stochastic Model for Studying and Simulating Sediment Transport in Ports and Harbors

    This research article published by the International Journal of Advances in Scientific Research and Engineering, Volume 5, Issue 9, September - 2019A particle model to describe and predict sediment transport in shallow water is developed with the use of random walk models. The model is developed by showing consistency between the Fokker-Plank equation and the Advection diffusion equations. Erosion and deposition process in the model are developed probabilistically where the erosion term is considered to be a constant and deposition term is taken as a function by relating sediment settling velocity and diffusion coefficient. Eventually, we simulated the particle model by considering three environment tests. In each environment test the simulations show the distribution of particle and the position of each particle at any given time t. The simulations also show the particles that will finally remain in suspension state and the particles that will be deposited during the transport process following the deployment of 10,000 particles. It was also established that there is uniform distribution of particles in test environment I and III and a linear dependence between the number of particles in different grid cell and the water depth in test environment I

    Electrodecoration and characterization of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles with bioactive synergistic nanocopper: Magnetic hyperthermia-induced ionic release for anti-biofilm action

    none14The urgency for the availability of new antibacterial/disinfectant agents has become a worldwide priority. At the same time, along with the extensive use of other metal nanoparticles (NPs), the investigation of magnetic NPs (MNPs) in antibacterial studies has turned out to be an increasingly attractive research field. In this context, we present the preparation and characterization of superparamagnetic iron oxide NPs, electrodecorated with antimicrobial copper NPs, able to modulate the release of bioactive species not only by the NP’s stabilizer, but also through the application of a suitable magnetic field. Antimicrobial synergistic CuNPs stabilized by benzalkonium chloride have been used in the current study. We demonstrate the successful preparation of Cu@Fe3O4 MNPs composites through morphological and spectroscopic results. Additionally, an extensive magnetic characterization is reported, along with hyperthermia-induced copper ionic release.
