    Peruvian Agro-Export Sector: a Competitiveness Study on Their Main Products in the Period 2010-2019

    Peruvian agricultural export products have gained importance in world markets in recent years. Therefore, the main objective of the study was to compare the level of competitiveness of the five main Peruvian products against similar products from other Latin American countries in a pre-pandemic and energy crisis development period (2010-2019). For this, two categories were analyzed: the level of specialization and the level of competitiveness with the competitiveness matrix modified by Lacayo and Morales in 2007. The study found a high level of specialization in all the Peruvian products analyzed, especially for the Blueberry category; likewise, the Grape, the Blueberry and the Avocado presented high levels of competitiveness; while Coffee and Asparagus were the least competitive due to their low performance in the analysis of the level of specialization

    Impacto de las actividades de innovación en las ventas de Compañías Peruanas de Lima y Callao

    Esta investigación buscó demostrar la validez del uso de la herramienta de aprendizaje automático LASSO considerando nueve actividades de innovación y datos de la encuesta del Ministerio de la Producción del Perú, de modo que se pueda explicar el desempeño empresarial de las empresas peruanas localizadas en el área urbana de Lima y Callao. Se aplicó LASSO e identificó las variables más importantes, luego se realizaron regresiones de tipo Logit seleccionando aquellas que tuvieran respaldo en la teoría; finalmente, se comprobó que las variables que incrementan la probabilidad de mejora en las ventas son tres: (a) actividades de innovación en bienes de capital, (b) marketing, y (c) activos intangibles

    Procurement of materials: A resource to optimize costs in Peruvian small and medium-sized companies

    The main objective of this study is to design and outline a supply map to improve the logistics system in a systematic way, especially the supply management of a private company, so that management becomes important. Previously, a literature search was conducted allowing to know the latest advances achieved in this topic, and serve as a basis to know the most important aspects of procurement management and thus capture the most important concepts to develop a visual scheme of the management to be performed by any company that wants to optimize the production costs of the logistics area. As a result of the research, based on the analysis, the researchers' criteria and the literature review, a map was drawn to allow identify the most important aspects of procurement, which are purchasing, storage and inventory management. Finally, the research concludes that the logistics of a company is one of the most important aspects to consider and this must be oriented to sustainability and social responsibility, as key aspects valued by consumers today
