The review deals with a problem of rational treatment of cardiovascular patients. There is increased percent of surviving patients after heart operations due to improvement of surgical technique and who require the subsequent dental treatment. To the present day, there are no universal approaches to investigation and management of such patients for outpatient dental practice.Π ΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠ΅ ΠΎΡΠΎΠ±ΡΠ°ΠΆΠ΅Π½ ΠΎΠ±Π·ΠΎΡ Π»ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠ°ΡΡΡΡ, ΠΎΡΠ²Π΅ΡΠ°ΡΡΠ΅ΠΉ ΠΏΡΠΎΠ±Π»Π΅ΠΌΡ ΡΠ°ΡΠΈΠΎΠ½Π°Π»ΡΠ½ΠΎΠ³ΠΎ Π»Π΅ΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡ Π±ΠΎΠ»ΡΠ½ΡΡ

Specific Features of Electrolyte Excretion at the Early Stages of Arterial Hypertension in SHR Rats
Daytime and nighttime systolic and diastolic BP was recorded in 23-week-old SHR and Wistar rats by telemetric monitoring. Urine concentrations of sodium, potassium, and calcium were determined in SHR rats during of light (07.00-19.00 h) and dark hours (19.00-07.00 h) at the age of 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, and 23 week; 23-week-old Wistar rats were used as the control. At early stages of the experiment, urine sodium concentration was elevated in SHR rats both at daytime and at night. Thereafter, this value declined and by 22-23 week was significantly lower than in normotensive Wistar rats, but only during daytime. Daytime potassium concentration significantly surpassed the control level during weeks 18-19 of the experiment, but later, a tendency to a decrease in this parameter was observed. Daytime calcium content in SHR rats did not significantly differ from the control throughout the experiment. At night, this value exceeded the control level by more than 2 times during weeks 18-19, but then returned to the level observed in normotensive animals. Until recently, the knowledge of the peculiarities of the central nervous system (CNS) anatomy in patients with Down syndrome was based on studies of biological material. Only in recent years new technical capabilities (magnetic resonance imaging) have made it possible to identify these features in vivo, and the data about a slightly smaller volume of the brain and disproportional cerebellum have been confirmed. In this study the authors used neurosonography to evaluate the characteristic features of neuroanatomy of the central nervous system in patients with Down syndrome. A comparative study of the brain in 32 infants and newborns with Down syndrome and 32 healthy newborns and infants helped identify a characteristic ultrasound symptom called "ventriculo-frontal distance". It was found that the "ventriculo-frontal distance" in children with Down syndrome is 3-4 mm smaller than in the children of the control group. In the study the authors determined that ultrasound images of the frontal horns of the lateral ventricles have a more elongated and curved shape. The practical significance of "ventriculo-frontal distance" as a marker of Down syndrome is that this sign can be used as an additional criterion to diagnose or suspect Down syndrome in conjunction with other indicators of this syndrome in fetal screening studies during the 2nd and 3rd trimesters of pregnancy.ΠΠΎ Π½Π΅Π΄Π°Π²Π½Π΅Π³ΠΎ Π²ΡΠ΅ΠΌΠ΅Π½ΠΈ Π·Π½Π°Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΎ ΠΏΡΠΈΡΡΡΠΈΡ

The article is devoted to the experience of using collagen biodegradable materials with sanguiritrin and lidocaine in the prevention of post-extraction complications in persons who have surgical treatment for acute or exacerbation of chronic dental disease against the background of poor oral hygiene. The use of collagen cones showed the effectiveness in the degree of reduction of visits, when the patients of the comparison group needed 2.2Β±0.2 visits, and in the main group - 1.2Β±0.2 visits. A pronounced antituberculosis effect was also noted, which was evaluated using the Wong-Baker numerical scale: moderate pain was noted in 40% of patients in the comparison group, and slight pain in 17% of cases in the main group. 89% of patients diagnosed with K04.8 with a root cyst according to the CT data changed the bone pattern density by the 28th day, indicating the appearance of young trabecular bone.Π¦Π΅Π»ΡΡ ΠΈΡΡΠ»Π΅Π΄ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ ΡΠ²ΠΈΠ»Π°ΡΡ ΠΊΠ»ΠΈΠ½ΠΈΠΊΠΎ-ΡΠ΅Π½ΡΠ³Π΅Π½ΠΎΠ»ΠΎΠ³ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠ°Ρ ΠΎΡΠ΅Π½ΠΊΠ° ΡΡΡΠ΅ΠΊΡΠΈΠ²Π½ΠΎΡΡΠΈ ΠΈΡΠΏΠΎΠ»ΡΠ·ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΠΈΠΊΡΠΎΡΡΠΏΡΠ΅ΡΠΎΠ² - ΡΠ°ΡΡΠ°ΡΡΠ²Π°ΡΡΠΈΡ

Terminological and debatable issues of the intraosseous organization of the anterior part of the mandible [Terminologicheskie i diskussionnye voprosy vnutrikostnoi organizatsii perednego otdela nizhnei chelyusti cheloveka]
In the scientific literature, one can find conflicting assumptions about the presence of Β«proper mental boneΒ» and Β«upper and lower lingual canalsΒ», which make up a separate ossified area in the chin of the mandible and the system of blood supply and innervation. However, calling these lesions Β«lingual canalsΒ» or Β«incisal canalsΒ», as is often found in various articles, is incorrect based on the position of International Anatomical Terminology. This is due to the lack of topographic reference in the term, which can equally be understood as the canal of the tongue, the neurovascular bundle of the same name, and the root canal system of the teeth of the lower jaw and can also be associated with the maxilla. We searched for information in English, without time limits, in the PubMed Central database, and searched on Google and analyzed the bibliography, relevant studies and reviews. The selection of publications was carried out by request Β«mental spine canalsΒ», 58 articles were found in PubMed, of which 21 were relevant. For the analysis, publications were selected that described in detail the anatomical, clinical and radiological features of the structure of the anterior part of the mandible. As a result of previous studies and the study of literature data, the intraosseous structures of the anterior part of the lower jaw were refined and classified, which solve not only terminological disputes, but also are important clinical guidelines for endodontic treatment, dental implantation and local anesthesia.Π Π»ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠ°ΡΡΡΠ΅ ΠΈΠΌΠ΅ΡΡΡΡ ΠΏΡΠΎΡΠΈΠ²ΠΎΡΠ΅ΡΠΈΠ²ΡΠ΅ ΠΏΡΠ΅Π΄ΠΏΠΎΠ»ΠΎΠΆΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡ ΠΎ Π½Π°Π»ΠΈΡΠΈΠΈ Β«ΡΠΎΠ±ΡΡΠ²Π΅Π½Π½ΠΎ ΠΏΠΎΠ΄Π±ΠΎΡΠΎΠ΄ΠΎΡΠ½ΠΎΠΉ ΠΊΠΎΡΡΠΈΒ» ΠΈ Β«Π²Π΅ΡΡ

Impedance properties and microwave magnetic field dependence of surface resistance of YBaCuO
The microwave magnetic field IIw dependence of the surface resistance Rs for a YBaβCuβO-Ξ΄ ceramic and thin film has been studied in 8 mm wave band. It is shown that for the film one of mechanisms consistent with the obtained dependence Rs(Hw) may be microwave-induced flux motion. For the ceramic specimen, the above dependence is in agreement with the model of Sridhar for the nonlinear high-frequency response of a planer superconductor in a current-induced critical state and with Gurevich's theory of the nonlinear dynamics of vortices in high-Jc overdamped Josephson contacts. An approach was applied which allows us to perform measurements without preliminary patterning of the samples
Biosorbents based on pine sawdust and malt sprouts for preconcentration and ICP-OES determination of nonferrous, heavy, and precious metals in the environmental samples
Pine sawdust and malt sprouts modified with orthophosphoric acid and carbamide have been proposed for solid-phase extraction (SPE) of nonferrous, heavy, and precious metals and their subsequent determination in the environmental samples by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES). Modified adsorbents were characterized by SEM, TGA, and FT-IR and compared with native matrixes. SPE of some nonferrous and precious metal ions by biosorbents was studied. Depending on the SPE conditions, it was possible to separate nonferrous and heavy metals from alkali and alkaline earth metals. The proposed adsorbents are effective for preconcentration of nonferrous and heavy metals from natural waters and precious metals from solutions after digestion of geological samples.
