Model transformations and Tool Integration

Model transformations are increasingly recognised as being of significant importance to many areas of software development and integration. Recent attention on model transformations has particularly focused on the OMGs Queries/Views/Transformations (QVT) Request for Proposals (RFP). In this paper I motivate the need for dedicated approaches to model transformations, particularly for the data involved in tool integration, outline the challenges involved, and then present a number of technologies and techniques which allow the construction of flexible, powerful and practical model transformations

Artist, painter, activist, VARR currently lives in the city of La Plata. In this dialogue, various aspects of her artistic practice are analysed. Her artistic practice takes place mainly in the street, a space she considers a place of debate, of resistance, but also a place of creation. Walking in the city, the "cirujeo" of materials, the creation of installations are some of the actions that he carries out on a daily basis, thus drawing a "micropolitics of painting".VARR, Valentina Andrea Rivas Robles, nació en Concepción, Chile, en 1989. Artista, pintora, activista, VARR reside actualmente en la ciudad de La Plata. En este diálogo se analizan diversos aspectos de su práctica artística. Esta se desarrolla principalmente en la calle, espacio que considera un lugar de debate, de resistencia, pero también lugar de creación. El andar en la ciudad, el “cirujeo” de materiales, la creación de instalaciones son algunas de las acciones que ejerce cotidianamente, dibujando así una « micropolítica de la pintura ».VARR, Valentina Andrea Rivas Robles, est née à Conception (Chili) en 1989. Use of near infrared spectroscopy coupled with chemometrics for fast detection of irradiated dry fermented sausages

Chemometric analysis of near infrared (NIR) spectroscopy data was applied to investigate the possibility to rapidly detect dry fermented sausages treated with ionizing radiation at 0; 0,5; 1; 2 and 3 kGy. NIR spectra from 1000 to 2500 nm were subjected to an exploratory principal component analysis (PCA) followed by orthogonal partial last square-discriminant analysis (OPLS-DA) to develop classifiers able to distinguish samples according to the irradiation dose. Models provided a correct classification rate of 100% for both irradiated and non-irradiated specimens. As for the different irradiation doses, 100% of sausages treated at 1 and 3 kGy dose, 92% of those at 2 kGy and 83% of those at 0,5 kGy were correctly classified. The successful results obtained confirmed suitability of chemometric analysis applied to NIR data for fast detection of dry fermented sausages subjected to irradiation treatment
