    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya perbedaan hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 20 Ambon kelas VII yang di ajarkan dengan  dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW) pada materi Think Talk Write (TTW). Tipe penelitian yang digunanakan adalah tipe desain Prosttest Only Group Design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini di ambil adalah sampel jenuh atau sampling jenuh atau sampel total. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sisiwa dengan modek pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL)  dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Talk Write (TTW). Hal ini ditunjukan pada hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan SPPS 20.0 yang diperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) = 0.044 lebih keci dari  sehingga menyebabkan  ditolak  dan diterim

    ABSTRACT: The function of the environment which has been supporting the daily needs of the community has been converted into a nickel (Ni) processing industrial area by the Indonesian Limited Liability Company Weda Bay Industrial Park (PT. IWIP). Purposes of the research to explain the form of legal liability to know and analyze the requirements so that the case of the Indonesian Limited Liability Company Weda Bay Industrial Park (PT. IWIP) for environmental damage caused by the processing of nickel mines can be subject to the principle of strict liability. This study uses a type of normative legal research. The processing techniques for legal materials that have been collected are carried out through stages; inventory, identification, classification, and systematization. Meanwhile, the technique of analyzing legal materials uses qualitative analysis methods. As a result, the authors conclude that, first, the form of legal liability for the Indonesian Limited Liability Company Weda Bay Industrial Park (PT. IWIP) for environmental damage caused by the processing of nickel mines is liability based on acts of violating laws (liability based on fault) and strike liability. Second, conditions for cases of environmental damage resulting from the processing of the Indonesian Limited Liability Company Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (PT. IWIP) nickel mine can be subject to the principle of immediate liability (strict liability), including: every person, group of people, and also includes legal antities such as industrial companies; actions, businesses or activities that use, produce, and utilize B3 (Hazardous and Toxic Materials) and B3 waste; there is a serious threat; and is absolutely responsible for losses without the need to prove and elemen of guilt

    Gerakan Pencegahan Stunting Melalui Pemberdayaan Masyarakat di Desa Sumbersekar Dau Malang

    Stunting menjadi permasalahan kesehatan yang cukup serius di Indonesia. Data Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) menunjukkan prevalensi balita stunting di tahun 2018 mencapai 30,8 persen, dimana artinya satu dari tiga balita mengalami stunting. Stunting yaitu merujuk pada kondisi tinggi anak yang lebih pendek dari tinggi badan anak pada umumnya, disebabkan kekurangan asupan gizi dalam waktu lama pada masa 1000 hari pertama kehidupan (HPK). Ketika dewasa, anak yang stunting aka rentan terhadap serangan penyakit tidak menular seperti: jantung, stroke, diabetes, ataupun gagal ginjal; menghambat bonus demografis Indonesia dimana rasio penduduk usia tidak bekerja terhadap penduduk usia kerja menurun; ancaman pengurangan tingkat intelejensi sebesar 5-11 poin. Melihat bahaya dari stunting tersebut, maka diperlukan langkah strategis dan sistematis dari berbagai elemen masyarakat (stakeholders). Karena stunting salah satu penyebabnya adalah faktor pengetahuan masyarakat (terutama ibu hamil dan ibu balita) mengenai stunting, maka diadakannya pemberdayaan masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mencegah kejadian stunting melalui rancangan desa sehat, sosialisasi, pelatihan, peningkatan kapasitas kelembagaan, dan peningkatan kesadaran, serta peningkatan ketersediaan pangan. Metode kegiatan yaitu cross sectional dan partisipasi masyarakat, serta metode penelitian menggunakan deskripsi murni. Populasi adalah Kader Posyandu, Kepala Desa Sumbersekar dan jajarannya, Ketua TPPKK dan anggota PKK, dan stakeholders lainnya, dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus-November 2022. Hasil dari kegiatan pemberdayaan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan, kesadaran, kapasitas masyarakat dalam pencegahan dan penanganan stunting, termasuk di dalamnya akses pangan sebagai sumber gizi untuk penanganan stunting

    OPA1-related auditory neuropathy: site of lesion and outcome of cochlear implantation.

    Hearing impairment is the second most prevalent clinical feature after optic atrophy in Dominant Optic Atrophy associated with mutations in the OPA1 gene. In this study we characterized the hearing dysfunction in OPA1-linked disorders and provided effective rehabilitative options to improve speech perception. We studied two groups of OPA1 subjects, one comprising 11 patients (7 males; age range 13-79 years) carrying OPA1 mutations inducing haploinsufficiency, the other, 10 subjects (3 males; age range 5-58 years) carrying OPA1 missense mutations. Both groups underwent audiometric assessment with pure tone and speech perception evaluation, and otoacoustic emissions and auditory brainstem response recording. Cochlear potentials were recorded through transtympanic electrocochleography from the group of patients harboring OPA1 missense mutations and were compared to recordings obtained from 20 normally-hearing controls and from 19 subjects with cochlear hearing loss. Eight patients carrying OPA1 missense mutations underwent cochlear implantation. Speech perception measures and electrically-evoked auditory nerve and brainstem responses were obtained after one year of cochlear implant use. Nine out of 11 patients carrying OPA1 mutations inducing haploinsufficiency had normal hearing function. In contrast, all but one subject harboring OPA1 missense mutations displayed impaired speech perception, abnormal brainstem responses and presence of otoacoustic emissions consistent with auditory neuropathy. In electrocochleography recordings, cochlear microphonic had enhanced amplitudes while summating potential showed normal latency and peak amplitude consistent with preservation of both outer and inner hair cell activities. After cancelling the cochlear microphonic, the synchronized neural response seen in both normally-hearing controls and subjects with cochlear hearing loss was replaced by a prolonged, low-amplitude negative potential that decreased in both amplitude and duration during rapid stimulation consistent with neural generation. The use of cochlear implant improved speech perception in all but one patient. Brainstem potentials were recorded in response to electrical stimulation in five subjects out of six, whereas no compound action potential was evoked from the auditory nerve through the cochlear implant. These findings indicate that underlying the hearing impairment in patients carrying OPA1 missense mutations is a disordered synchrony in auditory nerve fiber activity resulting from neural degeneration affecting the terminal dendrites.     Hearing dysfunction in a large family affected by dominant optic atrophy (OPA8-related DOA): A human model of hidden auditory neuropathy

    Hidden auditory neuropathy is characterized by reduced performances in challenging auditory tasks with the preservation of hearing thresholds, resulting from diffuse loss of cochlear inner hair cell (IHC) synapses following primary degeneration of unmyelinated terminals of auditory fibers. We report the audiological and electrophysiological findings collected from 10 members (4 males, 6 females) of a large Italian family affected by dominant optic atrophy, associated with the OPA8 locus, who complained of difficulties in understanding speech in the presence of noise. The patients were pooled into two groups, one consisting of 4 young adults (19\u201350 years) with normal hearing thresholds, and the other made up of 6 patients of an older age (55\u201372 years) showing mild hearing loss. Speech perception scores were normal in the first group and decreased in the second. Otoacoustic emissions (OAEs) and cochlear microphonics (CMs) recordings were consistent with preservation of outer hair cell (OHC) function in all patients, whereas auditory brainstem responses (ABRs) showed attenuated amplitudes in the first group and severe abnormalities in the second. Middle ear acoustic reflexes had delayed peak latencies in all patients in comparison with normally hearing individuals. Transtympanic electrocochleography (ECochG) recordings in response to 0.1 ms clicks at intensities from 120 to 60 dB peak equivalent SPL showed a reduction in amplitude of both summating potential (SP) and compound action potential (CAP) together with delayed CAP peak latencies and prolonged CAP duration in all patients in comparison with a control group of 20 normally hearing individuals. These findings indicate that underlying the hearing impairment in OPA8 patients is hidden AN resulting from diffuse loss of IHCs synapses. At an early stage the functional alterations only consist of abnormalities of ABR and ECochG potentials with increased latencies of acoustic reflexes, whereas reduction in speech perception scores become apparent with progression of the disease.     Highly Functionalized SWCNTs with a Dopamine Derivative as a Support for Pd Nanoparticles: A Recyclable Catalyst for the Reduction of Nitro Compounds and the Heck Reaction

    Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) were functionalized with a dopamine derivative in which the amine group was converted to azide (dopamine azide). The direct reaction of SWCNTs and dopamine azide in o-dichlorobenzene at high temperature (160 °C) led to very highly functionalized CNTs (≈60 wt.%). Surprisingly, despite this high degree of functionalization, Raman spectroscopy detected a low disruption of the π-network of the carbonaceous support. This finding was justified by the rehybridization from sp3 to sp2 of the sidewall carbon atoms of CNTs involved in the functionalization process. Further characterization by means of different techniques such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) analysis and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) allowed to shed some light on the chemical composition and morphology of the obtained material. Moreover, the estimation of the total content of phenolic units and their reducing potential after CNTs functionalization was also assessed using Folin and Ciocalteu and 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl hydrazide (DPPH) assays. The functionalization of CNTs was exploited to immobilize palladium(II) species that were subsequently reduced with NaBH4 leading to the formation of Pd nanoparticles (NPs).     A second case with the V374A KCND3 pathogenic variant in an Italian patient with early-onset spinocerebellar ataxia

    Background and Objectives To date, approximately 20 heterozygous mainly loss-of-function variants in KCND3 have been associated with spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA) type 19 and 22, a clinically heterogeneous group of neurodegenerative disorders. We aimed at reporting the second patients with the V374A KCND3 mutation from an independent family, confirming its pathogenic role. Methods We describe the clinical history of a patient with SCA and conducted genetic investigations including mitochondrial DNA analysis and exome sequencing. Results This male patient was reported to have unstable gait with tremors at the lower limbs and dysarthric speech since childhood. A neurologic examination also showed dysarthria, nystagmus, action tremor, dysmetria, and weak deep tendon reflexes. He had marked cerebellar atrophy at brain MRI, more evident at vermis. Molecular analysis, including exome sequencing and an in silico panel analysis of genes associated with SCA, revealed the c.1121T>C [p.V374A] mutation in KCND3. Discussion This report consolidates the pathogenicity of the V374A KCND3 mutation and suggests that the ataxic paroxysmal exacerbations are not a key phenotypic feature of this mutation

    Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student interest in sports extracurricular activities. This research is a descriptive study using a survey method, and collecting information or data using a questionnaire. As for the population in this study were all students of SD Negeri Sudirman 1 Makassar City. The sampling technique for this research was purposive sampling where the sampling technique was based on considerations with a total sample of 40 people. Collecting data in a study is very important, because the data collected is material for testing a research hypothesis that has been proposed. Data collection in principle must be in accordance with the desired target. Data collection was carried out as follows: observation/survey, questionnaire/questionnaire and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used descriptive data analysis techniques. While the calculations in the questionnaire use a descriptive percentage. The results of this study explain that students' interest in sports extracurricular activities at SD Negeri Sudirman 1 Makassar City out of 40 students, 22 students (55.0%) have a very high category and 18 students (45%) in the high category while the average score results -the average obtained is 75.8750 or 76 (rounded value). Thus it can be concluded that students' interest in sports extracurricular activities at SD Negeri Sudirman 1 Makassar City is categorized as very high. Keywords: Interests; Extracurriculars; Sport
