Construction of exact solutions to eigenvalue problems by the asymptotic iteration method

We apply the asymptotic iteration method (AIM) [J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 36, 11807 (2003)] to solve new classes of second-order homogeneous linear differential equation. In particular, solutions are found for a general class of eigenvalue problems which includes Schroedinger problems with Coulomb, harmonic oscillator, or Poeschl-Teller potentials, as well as the special eigenproblems studied recently by Bender et al [J. Phys. A: Math. Gen. 34 9835 (2001)] and generalized in the present paper to higher dimensions.Comment: 10 page

Delbr\ufcck’s work about Indo-European syntax, especially his contribution to the analysis of Vedic syntax, is still a useful tool for those who want to deal with the study of ancient Indian syntax, with particular reference to methodological analysis of constituent order. In fact, the notions of basic and marked word order of sentences are already present in Delbr\ufcck’s perspective, along with the idea of constituent movements motivated, albeit through mechanisms of prosodic order, by the interface between syntax and information structure of the sentence. His most general law of Occasionelle Wortstellung should probably be differentiated into a set of movements of constituents, which can correspond to sentence orders functionally differentiated. However, the idea of reducing the apparent constituents order freedom of Vedic sentence to the interaction between a general basic word order and a general principle of movement determined by sentence information structure, makes Delbr\ufcck a true founder of the modern studies about sentence syntax

, Background problem in this study originated from differences in the location of the school, students\u27 physical activity, facilities and infrastructure in schools so that the resulting differences in physical fitness level of the students of SDN 012 Harapan Jaya and SDN Karya Mukti 0101. However, in the absence of accurate data on the level of physical fitness student researcher interested in conducting research on these issues. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine whether there are differences in the level of physical fitness at students class V SDN 012 and SDN 010 Harapan jaya Karya Mukti Rokan Hilir District. This type of research is classified in Comparative research, Sugiono in Ridwan (2002: 50) argues that "Comparative research is research that aims to compare the results of the two groups of data". The research data was obtained from the measurement results TKJI test. The sample in this study is the female students class V from each school totaling 28 people (purposive sampling). Based on the research results can be concluded as follows: Once t test then obtained thitung (2.49)> t table (2.179), where Ho is rejected and Ha is received, it can be concluded that there are differences in the physical fitness of students SDN 012 Harapan Jaya SDN 010 KaryaMukti Rokan Hilir District, where the level of physical fitness of students SDN 012 Harapan Jaya better when compared with students of SDN 010 Karya Mukti Rokan Hilir

L’evoluzione dei pronomi personali soggetto in milanese

The Milanese dialect has undergone a great deal of change with regard to subject-pro- noun organization: after the Middle Ages and until the 17th century, it went through a period where the subject clitic system was far more developed than it is now. Among the various stages that occurred during the course of this evolution, I shall give con- sideration to the following: i) the ancient subject pronouns in nominative case have become the modern clitic sub- ject pronouns; ii) in the documents dating from the 14th-15th centuries a process begins whereby the order between subject pronoun and pre-verbal negation changes; the first evidence of clitic “a” also appears; ii) in the 17th century, the Milanese dialect had a scl system much richer than now: the presence of scls in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and the 6th person (as far as the 4th is concerned, the scl of the 1st person applies; by the end of the 18th century, scls system has acquired a typology similar to that of contemporary Milanese

The study of the structure of correlative sentences is of great importance in the context of Indo-European syntax, since this strategy of relativization is present in all earliest attested Indo-European languages, or, at least in the archaic phases of some of them. Interestingly, the model of external-headed relative clauses is present today in Hindi, but it seems not to have ever developed in Vedic (nor in Hittite), in which any expression of (explicit) relative clauses must make use of the correlative constructio
