Formation of sustainable development strategy of credit organizations based on balanced scorecard

This article covers the problem of forming sustainable development strategy of credit organization. The authors develop the model of sustainable development strategy for solving this problem. The idea of the model is to determine position of bank and formation of the strategy which depends on balanced scorecard components (finance, clients, staff, internal business processes). The level of market orientation in Tatarstan high technology companies (Russia)

This article aims to give high technology companies in Tatarstan (Russia) a better understanding about the concept of market orientation and their level of market orientation in total and also depending on the number of employees, years in business and the type of ownership. It shows the importance of implementation of the market orientation concept regarding better company's performance. This study validated Kohli and Jaworski's market orientation scale in high technology companies, particularly in small and medium high-tech companies in Tatarstan. The findings show that the level of market orientation in high-tech industries in Tatarstan is low. The article provides the recommendations for the managers of high-tech companies to improve the level of market orientation. Implementation of the market orientated strategies, putting emphasis in conducting effective market research and be strong in customer and competitor orientation, is important for hi-tech companies to improve their performance

Tools for assessing and forecasting financial stability of the commercial bank under conditions of instability

The authors developed the indicative model of assessment of the bank financial stability based on calculation of the integral indicator for solving this problem. Advantages of model are the high speed of analysis, accessibility for understanding, the possibility of use by a wide range of the interested users, and also cosmparison of credit organizations indicators. Using indicative model on a regular basis will allow not only to reveal problems of commercial banks, but also to take timely measures to eliminate them. We had approved this model for assessment of regional banks of the Republic of Tatarstan financial stability. Summarizing the results of analysis of financial stability of regional banks we can make up a conclusion about relative stability of the banking sector of the Republic of Tatarstan

Comparative analysis of impact of crises of 2008 and 2014 on banking capital in Russia

The objective of the article is to determine key factors which affect banking capital on 2014, compare its' influences with 2008 crisis. In 2014 banking sector faced with increased impact of political factors, therefore we will try to reveal conditions and terms of possible stabilization and reaching pre-crisis level of banking capital in Russia. The article comprises the analysis of main macroeconomic factors and their influence on aggregate banking capital. These factors are: USD exchange rate against rouble, EURO exchange rate against rouble, crude oilBrent price, russian Gross Domestic Product at 2008 prices, russian consumer price index. In addition, the article contains information related to the dynamics of stock market. The study revealed that the effects of the crisis of 2014 are more significant for the economy and its recovery will take more time than after the 2008 crisis. This conclusion is confirmed by the results of the SWOT analysis

Stages of biotechnology commercialization in the system of interaction between financial and innovative industrial structures

Stages of the commercialization of biotechnology in the system of financial cooperation and innovation and industrial structures is currently not sufficiently explored and require careful consideration. The international practice shows that currently the most efficient method of transition from research and development of biotechnologies to bringing them to the ultimate customer is mutually advantageous commercial interaction between all participants. This process is called commercialization of scientific research and development results. All its participants are economically motivated that is they are highly motivated to promptly attain commercial success resulting from use of new technologies. This interaction will allow Russia to compete in the global market and increase the prosperity of the country. However, at the present stage is a not established effective mechanism of cooperation and financial innovation and industrial structures. Stages of the commercialization of biotechnology are not consistent and not developed. Current projects on biotechnology commercialization require substantial financial investment and professional regulation of both the state and the private sector

Transport infrastructure as a driver of sustainable development of regional economic systems

The purpose of this research is to study the dependence of social and economic development on the regional transport infrastructure. The authors' position is based on the fact that it has a complex impact both on the general vector of the region' development, and on the functioning conditions of individual economic agents. This influence is manifested through ensuring the needs of spatial economic structures in advanced development; coordination of social and economic processes development; adaptation of global economic processes in transport sphere to regional conditions, as well as meeting the needs of economic agents in transport and logistics services. The study presents a methodology of integral multi-level assessment of the development level of regional infrastructure based on the capacity of the transport system, covering various aspects of its operation and promoting complex vision about the prospects of its further development; it serves as a basis for calculating the indicator on the example of the Republic of Tatarstan. The methodology enables to evaluate not only the development degree of individual indicators of the regional transport infrastructure, but also the level of its development in general. This approach helps to identify aspects that impede the effective development of transport infrastructure and to take measures to eliminate them. In addition, this technique enables to rank the regions according to the development degree of various functioning aspects of their transport infrastructure
