    Quasifission at extreme sub-barrier energies

    With the quantum diffusion approach the behavior of the capture cross-section is investigated in the reactions 92,94^{92,94}Mo + 92,94^{92,94}Mo, 100^{100}Ru + 100^{100}Ru, 104^{104}Pd + 104^{104}Pd, and 78^{78}Kr + 112^{112}Sn at deep sub-barrier energies which are lower than the ground state energies of the compound nuclei. Because the capture cross section is the sum of the complete fusion and quasifission cross sections, and the complete fusion cross section is zero at these sub-barrier energies, one can study experimentally the unique quasifission process in these reactions after the capture.Comment: 3 pages, 3 figure

    As part of a generalized ”prisoners’ dilemma”, is considered that the evolution of a population with a full set of behavioral strategies limited only by the depth of memory. Each subsequent generation of the population successively loses the most disadvantageous strategies of behavior of the previous generation. It is shown that an increase in memory in a population is evolutionarily beneficial. The winners of evolutionary selection invariably refer to agents with maximum memory. The concept of strategy complexity is introduced. It is shown that strategies that win in natural selection have maximum or near maximum complexity. Despite the fact that at a separate stage of evolution, according to the payout matrix, the individual gain, while refusing to cooperate, exceeded the gain obtained while cooperating. The winning strategies always belonged to the so-called respectable strategies that are clearly prone to cooperation

    Two-level model for land degradation mapping on multispectral satellite imagery of low and medium spatial resolution is shown. First level model applies several different thematic classifications of source multispectral images, e.g. vegetation change, soil erosion etc. Second level gives data fusion of specific thematic classifications of the first level into final thematic map to improve accuracy and reliability of wing to joint interpretation.
