The article deals with the essential-content characteristic of ethno-cultural educational environment, on the basis of which the conclusion is formulated that it has a sufficiently large impact on the formation and development of the student's personality. With its correct organization, the procedure for adapting the student to the learning process is simplified. In this regard, the personality of the teacher, who, in turn, performs not only an educational function, but also an educational one, passing to students the Toler antenna attitude to other ethnic groups and their cultures, is of great importance. As a result, we come to the conclusion that only in such conditions we will get specialists adequate to the current realities of life.В статье рассматривается сущностно-содержательная характеристика этнокультурной образовательной среды, на основе чего сформулированы вывод о том, что она оказывает достаточно большое влияние на становление и развитие личности студента. При ее правильной организации упрощается процедура адаптации студента к процессу обучения. В этой связи колоссальное значение приобретает личность преподавателя, который, в свою очередь, выполняет не только обучающую функцию, но и воспитательную, передавая студентам толерантное отношение к другим этносами и их культурам. В итоге приходим к выводу, что только в подобных условиях мы получим специалистов, адекватных нынешним жизненным реалиям

In this article the necessity of realization of ethno-cultural component in the system of higher education is justified. The author examines in detail the essence of ethno-cultural education in the context of the implementation of the Federal state educational standard. The essence of this category is considered. Special attention is paid to technologies that allow the most successful study of the history, culture, customs and traditions of their people and other ethnic groups. The issue of efficiency of ethno-cultural education through the disclosure of the main parameters of efficiency is touched upon.В данной статье обоснована необходимость реализации этнокультурной компоненты в системе высшего образования. The article deals with a problem of relationship between the concepts of multicultural and ethno-cultural education. Scientific interest to this theme is caused by the need to address the challenges of educating the younger generation in culturally diverse environment and globalized world. The authors substantiate the importance of multicultural and ethno-cultural education development, taking into account the current trends in state educational policy. The article presents the results of the comparative analysis of education concepts of “ethno-cultural” and “multicultural”. The problem of their interaction and correlation is revealed. The authors focus on the tasks and contents of ethno-cultural and multicultural education. The key questions and the framework of ethno-and multicultural education are defined.Научный интерес к проблеме обусловлен необходимостью решения задач обучения и воспитания подрастающего поколения в условиях культурного разнообразия и усиления глобализационных процессов. Авторы обосновывают актуальность развития концепций поликультурного и этнокультурного образования с учетом современных тенденций государственной образовательной политики. В статье представлены результаты сравнительного анализа понятий «этнокультурное» и «поликультурное» образование, выявлена проблема их взаимодействия и соотношения.
