The role of chemokine genes in the formation of terminal stage of chronic renal failure

The data on the role of chemokine genes (+1931A/T CCL4, A/G CXCL11 (rs4512021), -403A/G CCL5, C/G CCL2 (rs2857657), -801G/A CXCL12) in the formation of terminal stage of chronic renal failure, in patients with chronic glomerulonephritis, is presented in the work. It was established, that the allele A CXCL11 (rs4512021) (OR = 1.65) was the marker for the development of terminal stage of chronic renal insufficiency, and the genotype GG CXCL11was a protective factor for the development of terminal stage of chronic renal failure (OR = 0.22

Identification method based on Zadeh filter models

Mathematical modeling which provides the description of objects and proper organization of control operations in future is an integral stage in the automation of production. One of the approaches to build a mathematical model of an object is to represent nonlinear systems as combinations of inertial and nonlinear inertialess elements. The models thus obtained are called block-oriented. In this paper, we consider nonlinear dynamic objects represented as the models of the Zadeh filter class. In the process of the method development the identification equations were derived for the case when the test signal is a single sinusoid. Then the case of two sinusoids was considered. Such investigations allowed us to identify the patterns and describe the general case for several test components in the signal. The results of digital modeling using the sum of harmonic signals confirm the feasibility and validity of the proposed approach for identifying nonlinear models of the Zadeh filter class

On EPR paradox, Bell's inequalities and experiments which prove nothing

This article shows that the there is no paradox. Violation of Bell's inequalities should not be identified with a proof of non locality in quantum mechanics. A number of past experiments is reviewed, and it is concluded that the experimental results should be re-evaluated. The results of the experiments with atomic cascade are shown not to contradict the local realism. The article points out flaws in the experiments with down-converted photons. The experiments with neutron interferometer on measuring the "contextuality" and Bell-like inequalities are analyzed, and it is shown that the experimental results can be explained without such notions. О СОЗДАНИИ ИНФОРМАЦИОННОЙ СИСТЕМЫ ОТЕЧЕСТВЕННЫХ ДИССЕРТАЦИОННЫХ ИССЛЕДОВАНИЙ ПО НАУЧНОЙ СПЕЦИАЛЬНОСТИ 14.02.01 «ГИГИЕНА»: СОСТОЯНИЕ И РЕШЕНИЕ

There have been provided an analysis of the digitized full-text abstracts and dissertations on the official websites of institutions with dissertation councils on hygiene, in the digital libraries of the Russian State Library (RSL) and the National Library of Russia (NLR) and the website of the Higher Attestation Commission at the Ministry of Education. An array was formed of 1446 theses on the specialty 14.02.01 (old code – 14.00.07) «Hygiene» for 2000–2012. Doctoral theses comprised 19.8 % – significantly more than cumulative biological and medical theses (14.8 %) for the same period inRussia. Polynomial trend with a coefficient of determination (R2 = 0.73) with statistical significance indicates a decrease in the number of theses. Every year inRussiadissertation councils on hygiene received (111 ± 9) theses. It is established that in 76.9 % of abstracts are digitized in NLR and 63.7 % in RSL. Digitized documents can be accessed in the halls of the library for free, and in a mode of remote access – for a fee. Measures to optimize dissertation documents digitizing by librarians are described, as well as to seek opportunities to create a unified information system of dissertation research in Russia in the Scientific Electronic Library within the reference-analytical system Science Index for dissertation councils, free subscription of national research libraries to digital full-text databases of abstracts and dissertations and integration of Russian scientists in the international scientific community.Представлен анализ оцифрованных полнотекстовых авторефератов и диссертаций на официальный сайтах учреждений, при которых созданы диссертационные советы, в электронных библиотеках Российской государственной библиотеки (РГБ) и Российской национальной библиотеки и сайте ВАК Минобразования РФ. Сформирован массив из 1446 диссертации по специальности 14.02.01 (старый шифр – 14.00.07) «Гигиена» за 2000–2012 гг. Докторских работ было 19,8% – значимо больше, чем в сумме биологических и медицинских диссертаций (14,8 %) за аналогичный период в России. Полиномиальный тренд при коэффициенте детерминации (R2 = 0,73) со статистической значимостью свидетельствует об уменьшении количества диссертаций. Ежегодно в диссертационные советы России по гигиене представлялись по (111 ± 9) диссертаций. Установлено, что в РНБ оцифровано 76,9 % авторефератов, в РГБ – 63,7 % диссертаций. Допуск к оцифрованным документам осуществляется в залах библиотек бесплатно, а в режиме отдаленного доступа – за плату. Раскрыты мероприятия по оптимизации оцифровки диссертационных документов библиотечными работниками, изысканию возможностей создания единой информационной системы диссертационных исследований в России в Научной электронной библиотеке в рамках реферативно-аналитической системы Science Index для диссертационных советов, бесплатной национальной подписки научных библиотек к оцифрованным полнотекстовым базам авторефератов и диссертаций и интеграции отечественных ученых в мировое научное сообщество

Nonlocality, Bell's Ansatz and Probability

Quantum Mechanics lacks an intuitive interpretation, which is the cause of a generally formalistic approach to its use. This in turn has led to a certain insensitivity to the actual meaning of many words used in its description and interpretation. Herein, we analyze carefully the possible mathematical meanings of those terms used in analysis of EPR's contention, that Quantum Mechanics is incomplete, as well as Bell's work descendant therefrom. As a result, many inconsistencies and errors in contemporary discussions of nonlocality, as well as in Bell's Ansatz with respect to the laws of probability, are identified.
