    Design of a structurally optimized bioinspired structural arrangement of Π° polymer composite regional aircraft tail fin

    Aircraft frame elements are highly responsible elements. They are subject to stringent requirements for strength, stability, resource. Often these requirements contradict each other, especially if it is necessary to ensure the minimum mass of the product. However, it is necessary to improve the characteristics of aircraft. Nevertheless, the optimization of the frame has almost exhausted itself. The power frame consists of longitudinal and transverse elements. It is possible to improve the characteristics of structural arrangement by using polymer composite materials based on glass and carbon fibers. This will improve the design characteristics due to high specific properties. In addition, one of the directions is the development of new bioinspired structural layout based on natural analogues. The work is devoted to the actual task of searching and choosing new structural arrangement for the aircraft tail. The paper considers five variants of structural layout, including the classical original design. The advantage of the bioinspired variant in terms of mass and displacement is shown

    Developing trends in designing and manufacturing products made of polymer composite materials allow us to create previously unattainable structures. These include bioinspired structural layouts inspired by objects of nature, for example, the wings of insects, plants, and others. In turn, the structural layout of the wings of aircraft has reached its limit in terms of optimization in its classic form. The work is devoted to an urgent task –the choice of a bioinspired layout for an aircraft wing. A comparison of classic structural arrangement with a bioinspired structure is carried out. The total number of options considered is 14. The structure of the bioinspired wing was chosen based on the action of the load and stress distribution according to the results of preliminary calculations inspired by insect wings. The advantage of wings of a bioinspired design over classical ones by weight up to 32% is shown. The results of the initial stage of studies of bioinspired wings are presented

    This paper classifies a class of holomorphic D-branes, closely related to framed torsion-free sheaves, on threefolds fibered in resolved ADE surfaces over a general curve C, in terms of representations with relations of a twisted Kronheimer--Nakajima-type quiver in the category Coh(C) of coherent sheaves on C.     The article deals with the results of the development of monitoring system of potentially dangerous hydro-objects. The formal statement of the problem, models of the monitoring scene and its participants are presented. The scene is initially focused on the gradual replacement of participants-people on systems with artificial intelligence. The models are unified and can be refined to the level of program code. On the basis of models the proactive algorithm of monitoring providing fixing of dangerous situations at an initial stage of their emergence and operational synthesis of the corresponding managing decisions is constructed. The algorithm uses a knowledge base containing formalized expert knowledge about the features of the observed objects and resources of the regional administration to combat catastrophic phenomena.To automate the solution, a hardware and software system using domestic intelligent sensors has been developed. Programs are written in the console version, require a minimum of computing resources.     SAM was developed as a data handling system for Run II at Fermilab. SAM is a collection of services, each described by metadata. The metadata are modeled on a relational database, and implemented in ORACLE. SAM, originally deployed in production for the D0 Run II experiment, has now been also deployed at CDF and is being commissioned at MINOS. This illustrates that the metadata decomposition of its services has a broader applicability than just one experiment. A joint working group on metadata with representatives from ATLAS, BaBar, CDF, CMS, D0, and LHCB in cooperation with EGEE has examined this metadata decomposition in the light of general HEP user requirements. Greater understanding of the required services of a performant data handling system has emerged from Run II experience. This experience is being merged with the understanding being developed in the course of LHC experience with data challenges and user case discussions. We describe the SAM schema and the commonalities of function and service support between this schema and proposals for the LHC experiments. We describe the support structure required for SAM schema updates, the use of development, integration, and production instances. We are also looking at the LHC proposals for the evolution of schema using keyword-value pairs that are then transformed into a normalized, performant database schema

    In the present study the distribution of long-lived radionuclides between the drug product, recovered water [ 18O]H2 O and solid phase extraction cartridges was studied in [18F]fluorocholine production process. Isotopic composition for long-lived nuclides (half-lives = 10–312 days) was determined, the mechanisms of their formation and accumulation on cartridges are considered. It was shown that in the batches of pharmaceutical produced the content of long-lived nuclides is by 5 orders of magnitude lower than the limit value specified by the appropriate 07/2016:2793 European Pharmacopoeia article.     Nonlinear solar cycle forecasting: theory and perspectives

    In this paper we develop a modern approach to solar cycle forecasting, based on the mathematical theory of nonlinear dynamics. We start from the design of a static curve fitting model for the experimental yearly sunspot number series, over a time scale of 306 years, starting from year 1700 and we establish a least-squares optimal pulse shape of a solar cycle. The cycle-to-cycle evolution of the parameters of the cycle shape displays different patterns, such as a Gleissberg cycle and a strong anomaly in the cycle evolution during the Dalton minimum. In a second step, we extract a chaotic mapping for the successive values of one of the key model parameters – the rate of the exponential growth-decrease of the solar activity during the n-th cycle. We examine piece-wise linear techniques for the approximation of the derived mapping and we provide its probabilistic analysis: calculation of the invariant distribution and autocorrelation function. We find analytical relationships for the sunspot maxima and minima, as well as their occurrence times, as functions of chaotic values of the above parameter. Based on a Lyapunov spectrum analysis of the embedded mapping, we finally establish a horizon of predictability for the method, which allows us to give the most probable forecasting of the upcoming solar cycle 24, with an expected peak height of 93±21 occurring in 2011/2012
