ABSTRACT-Mixed metal oxides are synthesized from corresponding oxides and are used as pigments in paints which constitutes the Nanoformulated paints. The behavioural studies of these Nanoformulated paints are investigated in various aspects. The studies show better hiding power and enhanced glossiness. Nanoformulated paint coatings are done on mild steel plate and the coatings were tested in corrosion atmosphere. The results of corrosion tests were compared with commercially available red and white paint. Also the corrosion behaviour was studied for TiO 2 and Fe 2 O 3 formulated paint along with TiO 2 .Fe 2 O 3 . The mixed metal oxides TiO 2 .Fe 2 O 3 shows better corrosion inhibition efficiency. The particle size of the prepared oxide nanoparticles are confirmed with SEM. The structural and functional purity of the oxides were confirmed with XRD and FTIR respectively. Furthermore the studies were extended by evaluating the photocatalytic behaviour of the prepared oxides. It is found that upon UV irradiation on the dye the photocatalytic degradation was significantly increased. This studies confirms that incorporation of these nanoparticles in paints enhances the photocatalytic activity which results in the reduction of volatile organic compounds

Effective Scheduling of Multi-Load Automated Guided Vehicle in Spinning Mill: A Case Study

In the Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS), where material processing is carried out in the form of tasks from one department to another, the use of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) is significant. The application of multiple-load AGVs can be understood to boost FMS throughput by multiple orders of magnitude. For the transportation of materials and items inside a warehouse or manufacturing plant, an AGV, a mobile robot, offers extraordinary industrial capabilities. The technique of allocating AGVs to tasks while taking into account the cost and time of operations is known as AGV scheduling. Most research has exclusively addressed single-objective optimization, whereas multi-objective scheduling of AGVs is a complex combinatorial process without a single solution, in contrast to single-objective scheduling. This paper presents the integrated Local Search Probability-based Memetic Water Cycle (LSPM-WC) algorithm using a spinning mill as a case study. The scheduling model’s goal is to maximize machine efficiency. The scheduling of the statistical tests demonstrated the applicability of the proposed model in lowering the makespan and fitness values. The mean AGV operating efficiency was higher than the other estimated models, and the LSPM-WC surpassed the different algorithms to produce the best result

Love, Kindness faithfulness and tolerance are widely recognized traits of feminine sensibility. Women have multifaceted personalities. Many are able to tune themselves according to the ambience they live. Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni throws light on immigrant women. She picturesquely portrays the South Asian women’s plight, violence and individuality in a foreign land. The reader may never miss to notice the autobiographical elements in her works. She never misses to take us to her hometown Kolkata in her works. Women and particularly immigrant women are vibrant in her novels. She never portrays women as a weak sex. They strive to establish their identity at home, work place and in a foreign land. Divakaruni vividly portrays how women have to undergo a sea of pain to carve her own identity in the midst of gender and race dominated society. This paper ponders the introversion of immigrant women in Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni’s “The Vine of Desire

A class of isochronous and non-isochronous nonlinear oscillators

In this work, we present a method of generating a class of nonlinear ordinary differential equations (ODEs), representing the dynamics of appropriate nonlinear oscillators, that have the characteristics of either amplitude independent frequency of oscillations or amplitude-dependent frequency of oscillations from the integrals of the simple harmonic oscillator equation. To achieve this, we consider the case where the integrals are in the same form both for the linear and the nonlinear oscillators in either of the cases. We also discuss the method of deriving the associated integrals and the general solution in harmonic form for both the types. We demonstrate the applicability of this method up to 2N coupled first-order nonlinear ODEs in both the cases. Further, we illustrate the theory with an example in each case
