Elaboration of Comparative Analysis of Selected Firms Providing Parcel Distribution

Doručovací služby využívají lidé čím dál více. Je to způsobeno především globalizací a technologickým pokrokem, který dělá lidem doručovací služby dostupnější. Cílem této práce je provést analýzu vybraných firem v tomto odvětví a porovnat jejich ekonomickou situaci mezi roky 2017 až 2020. K dosažení tohoto cíle je použita finanční analýza a metody mezipodnikového srovnávání. V práci je využíváno především poměrových ukazatelů, které poskytují přehled o vývoji zkoumaných firem. Dále jsou použity metody jako index IN99, Spider analýza a SWOT analýza. Pomocí těchto metod byly zjištěny silné a slabé stránky srovnávaných firem, jejich finanční výkonnost a na základě těchto dat jsou zde také popsány jejich přístupy k finančnímu řízení.The use of parcel Distribution is more often nowadays. It is mainly caused by globalization and technological advances, that are making parcel Distribution more available. The aim of this work is to analyze selected firms providing parcel Distribution and compare their economic situation between years 2017 and 2020. There are used financial analysis and comparative methods to achieve this goal. In this paper are used mainly financial ratios, which are providing an overview of development of selected companies. Methods such as IN99 index, Spider analysis and SWOT analysis are also used. There are identified strenghts and weaknesses of the firms using these methods. Operating Characteristics of a Timber Trailer with a Hybrid Drive

This paper deals with the design and operational evaluation of a timber tractor-trailer unit with a hybrid trailer drive. The source of electrical energy for the two induction motors driving the front wheels of the tandem trailer axle is a battery, which is recharged by an induction machine operating as a generator during periods of a lower demand for power from the tractor diesel engine. An electric drive was designed for the defined working cycle of the tractor-trailer unit, and its loading characteristics were tested in the laboratory. The parameters measured on the field tests during timber forwarding were battery voltage and power, and the energy balance. Three adjustment levels of the potentiometer controlling the trailer hybrid drive (50, 75 and 100%) were tested at three different forwarding distances of 100, 500 and 1000 m. Additionally, any slippage of the prime mover wheels and trailer was measured. The maximum peak power taken from the battery was ca. 33 kW during the field tests, whilst the drive was able to deliver a peak output of up to 72 kW for 10 s and permanently up to ca. 50 kW. Even in harsh terrain conditions, the electric drive assisted the combustion engine only when the loaded tractor-trailer unit was travelling uphill. The hybrid drive operation was sustainable for the whole working shift, without the need for recharging when the potentiometer was set to 50%. This appropriate setting of the potentiometer controlling the trailer's hybrid drive reduced the slipping of the driven wheels of the tractor-trailer unit whilst travelling uphill.O

Import 04/07/2011Obsahem této bakalářské práce je popis průběhu mé odborné praxe, absolvované ve firmě XEVOS Solutions s.r.o. Je zde také bližší seznámení s firmou, jejími projekty a mé pracovní zařazení. V další části této práce nalezneme popis přidělených projektů a úkolů, na kterých jsem v průběhu odborné praxe pracoval a způsob jejich řešení. V dalších kapitolách shrnuji, jaké vědomosti získané studiem na VŠB jsem použil při řešení zadaných úkolů a jaké vědomosti mi pro změnu nebyly dostatečné nebo zcela chyběly. V závěru hodnotím přinos jak z hlediska získaných vědomostí, tak z hlediska praktických zkušeností práce ve firmě.The content of this bachelor thesis is the description of progress in my practical experience in the company XEVOS Solutions Ltd. There is also deeper familiarization with the company, theirs projects and my job position. In the next part of this work it can be found a description of the assigned projects and tasks which I worked on during the professional practice and their solutions. In other chapters I sum up the knowledge gained by studying at the VSB which i used for solving tasks, and also knowledge which have not been sufficient or completely missed.
