Educational technology applied to adult education

Adult learning has been ubiquitous not only in the institutions of higher learning but in the lower learning institutions. As shown by many authors, adult learners often bring with them a high level of experience and higher expectations that positively reflect their performance in their classroom-based activity. This study is done explicitly on educational technology applied in adult learning to enhance the learning activities and increase the level of enrollment in adult learners. Also, the study brings tolight how significant technological advancement in education is to adult learners since a higher percentage of students are busy people with different sets of commitments. The study suggests that faculty members' attitudes toward instructional technology, particularly those geared at adults, need to be re-evaluated to serve their students better. Instructors need to think about how technology might affect the development and use of andragogy in the classroom to help adult learners.Campus Arequip

Responsible leadership: a comparative study between Peruvian national and private universities

Purpose: A university community that works for and supports students along their developmental trajectory through responsible leadership is important for a sustainable and accountable educational environment. Public and private institutions differ in their student leadership responsibilities. In light of this, the objective of this study is to analyze the level of responsible leadership between public and private colleges in Peru in 2022. Design/Methodology/Approach: This study employs quantitative and descriptive-comparative research methods. This study's sample included 459 instructors from six public and private institutions in Peru. The survey-based method was used to collect data on responsible education leadership. Findings: The study's findings emphasized the importance of responsible leadership in colleges. This study shows that private institutions in Peru have a better level of responsible leadership than governmental universities. Practical Implications: This study underlines that strong leadership should always seek innovation in the field of education, keeping current with the most recent achievements and collecting feedback from university teachers and students. To obtain a higher education level, institutions should therefore foster responsible leadership. Originality/value: This research contributes to a previously unexplored section of the literary canon. Several prior studies have researched responsible leadership; however, the context of the present study is neglected by those prior studies. Previous research neglected the significance of responsible leadership within universities. Rarely have past studies compared national universities in Peru to private ones. Therefore, this work made a substantial contribution to the corpus of knowledge.Campus Arequip

The present study was carried out with the objective of knowing, making visible and articulating how family enterprises are presented in two communities of Peru, one from the north: Cascas (La Libertad) and another from the South: San AgustĂn (Arequipa), allowing the construction of synergies with a territoriality criterion. The solidarity economy achieves the support of people, promotes the development of initiatives, becomes a generator of economic income, a source of skills development, creation of more community economies and extension of the middle class. The methods used are inductive - deductive and analytical - synthetic, which allowed an analysis of the content of family economies, using the techniques questionnaire of closed questions and in-depth interviews, with 100 families from each of the selected communities as the object of study. and autonomy of the family members, allows the equitable distribution and management of resources, bringing as a goal the well-being of these families

CRITICAL ASPECTS IN THE FORMULATION OF THESIS PROJECTS IN CONTEMPORARY INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING

The aim of the study was to identify the key components to formulate a thesis project in industrial engineering to address current challenges from a perspective that responds to the demands of sustainability and global development outlined by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is achieved through an exhaustive review of the literature and interviews directed at both mentors and students, investigating the main potential elements of improvement in the formulation of thesis proposals, based on the ODS. 5 important sections were taken into account for the thesis project: topic, introduction, justification, literature review and methodology. Each of these had relevant criteria to write the project. In short, the formulation of a thesis project in Industrial Engineering emerges as a multifaceted effort that requires rigorous attention to several components. Adequate groundwork, mentoring and training in research methods are vital elements in addressing these challenges and ensuring superior quality in thesis proposals. This study should not only be considered for industrial engineering, it can be used as a basis for other areas such as civil
