    The basin approach and mapping to the anthropogenic impact assessment on the east of the russian plain

    Β© Research India Publications. The given paper considers the methodological aspects of the Atlas mapping for the purposes of Sustainable Development in the regions of Russia. Requirements for the Atlas’s structure and content were outlined. The approaches to mapping of "an ecological dominant" of Sustainable Development conceptually substantiated following the pattern of a large region of Russia. The Atlas proposed to be developed, can be considered by its spatial scope as the regional one and by the content as the fundamental complex science-reference mapping guide which characterizes the environment situation in the east of Tatarstan, the conditions and factors that determine it, the tendencies to the change of the ecological state in the territory and in the centers, the measures to reach an ecological equilibrium. Several maps were built as example of regional mapping to estimate impact of oil and gas industry on the environment and to develop solutions for natural resources optimization on the study territory. The complexity of natural systems and the need to integrate large number of factors required the use of modern methods of geoinformatics, information technology, mathematical and cartographic modeling. "Map of cumulative anthropogenic impact" allows through the selected parameters to identify the impacts caused by agricultural activity and "Integral environmental assessment map" – oil and gas industry impact on the environment.     Application of GIS in interpretation of the results of multistage hydraulic fracturing monitoring by surface microseismic method

    Currently, the problem of interpretation of microseismic monitoring data is a critical task. Along with the improvement of field survey technologies and data processing, as well as with the development of realtime hydraulic fracturing monitoring by microseismic methods there are several problems to solve, such as objectivity of geological data, the data reference with the local and regional stress-strain state of the rock massif. The aim of this work is the post-processing of surface microseismic monitoring results with the use of geographic information systems. An analytical basis of data processing is spatial statistics set of tools of ArcGIS ESRI software, which is traditionally used to identify the patterns in the spatial distribution of any point events containing georeference component. The paper shows an approach to process an interpretation in complex situations, such as fracking pump failure, when the cloud of microseismic events shows a random distribution. Main attention in the work was paid for geological interpretation of the results obtained and their relation with the results of regional stress-strain state investigation. Significant convergence is detected for the orientation of natural fractures defined by surface seismic surveys, microseismic monitoring of hydraulic fracture propagation and regional lineament analysis basing on satellite images

    The analysis of horizontal drilling using for deposits at the late stage of development

    The paper contains an analysis of low specific oil production from horizontal wells at the date of analysis with a review of geological and technological factors affecting the efficiency of each well separately. The object of analysis is an oil field in Tatarstan, where 8 horizontal wells were drilled to produce bobrikovskiy horizon sand reservoir. Detailed analysis of field development parameters of each well shows significant efficiency of horizontal drilling for horizon considered after 45 years of field development. However, the reducing of performance for the horizontal wells appeared because of changing of operating parameters of wells (depression increasing more then 1.0-1.5 MPa). The range of depression given below is maximal for the well profile analyzed and for this reservoir. This is caused by depth of reservoir (less than 1000m), rock permeability (can be more than 1 Darcy), reservoir rock, stress-strain state along the well which reacts strongly on energy changes in zone of horizontal part and leads to the destruction of cement sheath and its connection with the casing and the rock. Finally, it's concluded, that efficiency of horizontal drilling depends strongly on the quality of geological and technological analysis conducted for both, whole deposit and zone of drilling
