Determinants of Cloud Computing Intentions to Use: Role of Firmâs Size, Managerial Structure and Industrial Sector
Currently many companies are adopting cloud computing to accomplish their diverse purposes and to create an elastic and responsive environment that can rapidly respond to new business requirements. This paper attempts to investigate the factors influencing cloud computing adoption from the managerial perspective with inclusion of size of firm, organizational structure and type of industry as control variables. The model is developed with various technological, economic and cognitive factors that affect the behavioral intention to use cloud computing using technology acceptance model (TAM).Questionnaires were randomly distributed to around 1000 senior managers of various firms in India. Hierarchical multiple regression (HMR) was performed to test the impact of control variables on the factors that influence managerial intention to adopt cloud computing. The result showed that all the independent variables (perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived risks, perceived benefits, perceived ubiquity, perceived costs and job relevance) explain additional 32.3% of variance in intention to use cloud computing. Based on standardized beta coefficients (ÎČ) values, the result showed that the impact of firm size is found highest among other control variables in explaining the amount of variability in behavioral intention to use cloud computing. The result of this study will enable the firms to focus on managerial perspectives of cloud-based applications and their attitude towards adoption

Determinants of Continuance Intention to Use Mobile Wallets Technology in the Post Pandemic Era: Moderating Role of Perceived Trust
The Covid-19 pandemic amplified the volume and importance of mobile payments using digital wallets and placed a basis for their continued adoption. The objective of the study is to formulate and test a comprehensive model by integration of the technology acceptance model (TAM) and expectation confirmation model (ECM) with the addition of three constructs, namely perceived trust, perceived risk, and subjective norm, to identify the determinants of continuance intention to use mobile wallets. Questionnaire-based survey method was used to gather the data from 550 users having experience using mobile wallets for more than six months. The data were analyzed using the partial least square-structural equation modeling to investigate relationships between variables and test the hypothesized model. The proposed model showed a 53.9% variance in satisfaction and a 36.2% of variance in continued usage intention. The construct âperceived usefulnessâ emerged as the strongest predictor, followed by perceived trust and confirmation. This study also examines the moderating role of perceived trust on the relationship between perceived risk and continued intention to use mobile wallets. This study helps service providers and policymakers in improving mobile wallet services related to their execution and deployment

Moderating effects of age and experience on the factors influencing the actual usage of cloud computing
Cloud computing technology (CCT) has attracted extensive attention of organizations to enhance their agility, flexibility and competitive advantage. Successful implementation of CCT depends on its acceptance and useby senior IT managers in the organizations. This study proposes an extended technology acceptance model (TAM) to predict actual CCT usage by the managers. A questionnaire is used to collect the needful data. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses are performed to analyze the factor structure and measurement model. Structural equation modeling is used to analyze the structural model. The results supported all the hypotheses of the model. The moderating effect of experience and age is also tested through multi-group analysis. Based on findings of the study, implications for CCT usage in the organizations are discussed

Understanding the determinants affecting the continuance intention to use cloud computing
Cloud computing has been progressively implemented in the organizations. The purpose of the paper is to understand the fundamental factors influencing the senior managerâs continuance intention to use cloud computing in organizations. A conceptual framework was developed by using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a base theoretical model. A questionnaire was used to collect the data from several companies in IT, manufacturing, finance, pharmaceutical and retail sectors in India. The data analysis was done using structural equation modeling technique. Perceived usefulness and perceived ubiquity are identified as important factors that affect continuance intention to use cloud computing. In addition, perceived ease of use is found having indirect influence through perceived usefulness. The validated model can be used as a framework for managers to ensure successful implementation of cloud computing. The study extended TAM by incorporating additional variables like perceived ubiquity, perceived costs and perceived risks to explore the determinants of continued intention to use cloud computing

Evaluating the factors influencing Alignment of IT and Business in a Cloud Computing Environment
Aligning IT with business strategically is the recent area of attention among researchers and practitioners because of its potential impact on organizational performance. Currently, large numbers of enterprises are migrating towards cloud computing as on-premise implementation of Information technology (IT) infrastructure is expensive. The purpose of this research is to examine the factors that influence the alignment of IT and business in cloud computing environment. Therefore, this study used the Strategic Alignment Maturity (SAM) model as a framework to validate the evolution of IT-business alignment in a cloud computing platform. A questionnaire-based survey method was employed for data collection. The respondents are IT and business executives of adopter firms in India. The structural equation modeling technique is used to statistically validate the model. From the results, it is found that all the constructs contribute significantly to business alignment with cloud computing except partnering and skill maturity. This study contributes to the research related to the application of SAM model in investigating the alignment of cloud computing with business. Software vendors and information technology consultants can utilize this study in assisting a client in the alignment of business with IT strategically in a cloud computing environment
Determinants of Cloud Computing Adoption: A Comparative Study
Background: This study investigates the determinants that influence the user\u27s behavioral intention to use cloud computing in adopter and non-adopter firms. The research model is based on the theory of the Valence Framework of Behavioral Beliefs and Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The present study examined the factors of perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, perceived ubiquity, perceived benefits, perceived costs and perceived risks in determining behavioral intention to use cloud computing for the adopter and non-adopter firms.
Method: Data were collected using a questionnaire-based survey method. The valid responses received were 458. The sample size of adopters and non-adopter of cloud computing were 239 and 219, respectively. Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used for data analysis. Data analysis was done separately for both samples of the adopter and non-adopter firms The results showed that, for adopters firms, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, ubiquity, perceived benefits, and perceived risks were found to have a significant and direct influence on behavioral intention to use cloud computing. For non-adopters, perceived usefulness, perceived ubiquity, perceived benefits, perceived costs, and perceived risks were found to have a significant and direct influence on behavioral intention to use cloud computing. A comparison testing was also performed by examining the difference in the strength of path coefficients between adopters and non-adopters firms.
Results: The findings showed that the impact of favorable factors of perceived ubiquity and perceived benefits were found relatively more significant in the case of adopter firms than negative factors. Likewise, the impact of negative factors of perceived risks and perceived costs were found relatively more significant in the case of non-adopter firms.
Conclusions: The major contribution of this study is that it contributes to the understanding of progressive changes in the impact of behavioral beliefs and cognitive factors on behavioral intention to use cloud computing in adopter and non-adopter firms. This study also provides managers\u27 practical understandings for cloud computing adoption during each phase of the adoption process.

Assessing Performance Impact of Digital Transformation for Instructors in the Covid-19 Era
Digital transformation has evolved as the main issue for higher education institutions (HEIs) across the globe due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The purpose of this study is to investigate the performance impacts of digital transformation for instructors of HEIs during the pandemic. The technology-to-performance chain (TPC) model pursues to predict the influence of an information system on the performance of an individual user. Hence, TPC model is used to evaluate the performance of instructors due to digital transformation in the institutions during the Covid-19 pandemic. The data is collected from instructors of higher educational institutions. Recently, partial least squares path modeling (PLS-PM) has found extensive application for causal information systems (IS) research. Hence, Smart-PLS is used to analyze the data. Five constructs (task-technology fit, social norms, facilitating conditions, utilization, and performance impacts) are used to develop the model. The results showed that task technology fit (TTF) has a significant effect on performance impacts whereas utilization does not have an influence on performance impacts. Facilitating conditions and TTF are found to have an influence on the utilization whereas subjective norms do not have influence. This study contributes to the knowledge on the factors that matter to instructors of HEI in improving their teaching productivity, communication, and co-ordination during the Covid-19 pandemic
An overview of the genus Dioscorea L. (Dioscoreaceae) in India
The present paper depicts an overview and elucidated assessment of published data and herbarium records on the diversity, distribution pattern, endemism and threat status of Dioscorea spp. to get availed with extant stature and design strategies for its effective conservation. Dioscorea nested under family Dioscoreceae is a pantropical genus comprising about 682 species. In India, the genus is known to possess 42 taxa (41 species and one variety). Dioscorea L. is highly regarded for its nutritional and medicinal values having a significant role in pharmaceutical and nutraceutical industries. Several species of Dioscorea contain various biologically active molecules that show anti-arthritic, anti-inflammatory and anti-fertility effects and thereby known for alleviating medicinal curses
Documentation of ethnomedicinal plants for the treatment of skin diseases from Pangi valley, Western Himalaya
The present study deals with the systematic documentation of medicinal plants utilized by the indigenous inhabitants of Pangi valley to treat various skin problems. A total of 61 plant species belonging to 56 genera and 30 families have been found to be useful in the treatment of wounds (30 sp.), boils (27 sp.), cuts (24 sp.), burns (17 sp.), itching and pimples (05 sp. each), skin eruption, leukoderma and eczema (03 sp. each), pus removal, injuries (02 sp. each), skin pigmentation (01 sp.), etc. A table is provided including their botanical names, families, local names, habitat, altitude range, life form, nativity, threat status, uses, parts used and mode of preparation
The International Natural Product Sciences Taskforce (INPST) and the power of Twitter networking exemplified through #INPST hashtag analysis
Background: The development of digital technologies and the evolution of open innovation approaches have enabled the creation of diverse virtual organizations and enterprises coordinating their activities primarily online. The open innovation platform titled "International Natural Product Sciences Taskforce" (INPST) was established in 2018, to bring together in collaborative environment individuals and organizations interested in natural product scientific research, and to empower their interactions by using digital communication tools. Methods: In this work, we present a general overview of INPST activities and showcase the specific use of Twitter as a powerful networking tool that was used to host a one-week "2021 INPST Twitter Networking Event" (spanning from 31st May 2021 to 6th June 2021) based on the application of the Twitter hashtag #INPST. Results and Conclusion: The use of this hashtag during the networking event period was analyzed with Symplur Signals (https://www.symplur.com/), revealing a total of 6,036 tweets, shared by 686 users, which generated a total of 65,004,773 impressions (views of the respective tweets). This networking event's achieved high visibility and participation rate showcases a convincing example of how this social media platform can be used as a highly effective tool to host virtual Twitter-based international biomedical research events
