Surface reactions with participation of oxides of molybdenum and tungsten: the influence of external factors

This work is a continuation of the article “Surface reactions with participation of oxides of molybdenum and tungsten”, published in the previous issue of the journal. The influence of the electric field and the pressure of oxygen in the gas phase on the rate of surface reactions for the synthesis of molybdates of manganese and copper were investigated. It’s found that for the synthesis reaction of molybdate of copper the nature of the dependency of the rate of synthesis and rate of surface reactions from the external parameters are the same, indicating the crucial contribution of surface diffusion to the reactive mass transfer. For the synthesis reaction of molybdate of manganese the dependences of the rate of synthesis and of rate of surface reactions by external parameters differ, indicating that for this reaction, surface diffusion isn’t the main mechanism of mass transfer

Indigenious water microflora as well as the presence of metal- and xenobiotic biotransforming bacteria were investigated in waters near the KCM Pb-Zn smelter, South Bulgaria. Content of As, Hg, Cd, Mn, Pb, Cu and Zn exceeded in times the maximum permission standart. Absence of some microbial groups demonstrated a change in the microbial community structure in the region. Ecotoxicology test ISO/DIS 10712.2 displayed toxic environmental effect of the polluted waters, especially one of them which demonstrated 72 % of ecotoxicity. More than 20 ecologically relevant new bacteria were cultured. Three of them demonstrated tolerance to Cd, Cu and Mn and five- a tolerance to 2,4-dichlorphenoxyacetic acid. Our result revealed that the heavy metal pollutions reduced the microbial diversity in the studied waters, are ecotoxic as well as that some of newly isolated bacteria possess a capacity for a clean-up biotechnologies in the region. . 1, . 2, 2., 3, 3, .

Johann Christoph Glaubitz is considered to be one of the most famous names in the architecture of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania of the 18th century and one of the founders of the so-called “Vilnius Baroque”. The architectural heritage of J.C.Glaubitz has been variously interpreted in Belarusian, Polish and Lithuanian historiography. An analysis of these research materials allows to evaluate it most adequately

Siberian Research and Design Institute for Nonferrous Metallurgy (JSC “Sibtsvetmetniiproekt”) was established in August 1949 for the technology development for the nonferrous ore extraction and treatment as well as for the engineering of mining plants in Siberia and the Russian Far East. Nowadays JSC "Sibtsvetmetniiproekt" continues to develop the quality projects and actual technology for material treatment for new mineral companies as well as reference materials for composition of technological conversion products. During 1970-2012 JSC "Sibtsvetmetniiproekt" developed 83 reference materials which includes 42 types of State reference materials for silver, cuprum, silver alloys with noble metals, cuprum alloys with noble metals, ores, mattes, sludge, concentrates etc., State reference materials for fluorites as well as 41 types of in-house reference materials for the following companies: PJSC "Mining and Metallurgical Company 'Norilsk Nickel'", fluorite branches companies, OJSC "Gorevsky Gok" and others. All developed reference materials are high-demand and used by analytical department and testing laboratories of Russian and foreign leading academic and research companies, geological enterprises.
