Interstitial Granulomatous Dermatitis: Another Clinical Variant

A 70-year-old female patient presented with an eruption consisting of symmetrically distributed erythematous papules around the umbilicus 1 month after the cessation of adalimumab for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Biopsy of a papule showed an interstitial granulomatous infiltrate in the dermis, without deposition of mucin. The lesions cleared only after re-initiation of treatment 2 months later. Interstitial granulomatous dermatitis is thought to be a distinct histopathological pattern, either drug induced or associated with rheumatoid arthritis or autoimmune collagen diseases. In our case, there was a distinct clinical presentation of interstitial granulomatous dermatitis, composed of symmetrically distributed indurated papules around the umbilicus as well as a mild granulomatous reaction pattern

L'analyse des résultats est révélatrice de la vie économique, sociale (composition des richesses) et religieuse (mariages, pélerinages) de l'époque, mais aussi du mouvement démographique. La présentation, accompagnée de nombreux tableaux et graphiques très utiles, n'en donne pas moins une impression très vivante des hommes et de la ville de Damas au XVIIe siècle

L'étude intéressante de « l'Echelle de Smyrne au XVIIIe siècle » qui s'ajoute à la série des monographies parues ces dernières années sur les Echelles du Levant. La documentation est en grande partie française. L'auteur décrit le port de Smyrne, qui devient, surtout à partir du milieu du XVIIIe siècle, avec ses nombreux marchands et financiers de plusieurs nationalités, un des plus importants de la Méditerranée Orientale. Le commerce de toutes sortes de produits venant de l'intérieur du pays mais aussi de la Perse (textiles, soie en particulier) aboutissent au port pour être exportés vers l'Occident, et surtout vers la France qui, à cette époque, a un grand besoin de matières premières pour ses fabriques en plein essor. En même temps tous les produits, en particuliers manufacturés, de l'Occident arrivent à Smyrne pour être par la suite redistribués à l'intérieur de l'Empire

Primary energy consumption and economic growth: the case of Greece

This paper examines the relationship between primary energy consumption and economic growth in Greece for the period 1965-2019 by using annual data. The main objective of this study is to investigate whether there is a causal relationship between economic growth and energy consumption. In terms of econometric specificity, ordinary least squares regression (OLS) is used to determine the model in the first step, while the vector self-regulating model (VAR) and the Wald test are used to detect causality. The study differs from the literature in terms of examining the individual energy sources. Total primary energy consumption in Greece is examined in relation to economic growth and individual energy sources separately. According to the results, primary energy consumption in Greece has a big impact on economic growth. The energy derived from non-renewable energy sources has the highest consumption rates. Causality tests show that there is a causal relationship between wind energy consumption and the GDP per capita while causality is observed from the GDP per capita to oil, coal, solar and hydropower consumption
