    The purpose of the article is to examine global trends in the development of information and communication technologies. The research methodology is to study reports, news, and statistics on information and communication technologies (ICT) from reputable sources. The world costs of ICT and individual countries are investigated. A great need for qualified IT professionals caused by the development of new technologies has been revealed. The most popular IT professionals were identified. The article confirms the hypothesis that investment in new information and communication technologies is an integral part of economic growth.Целью статьи является рассмотрение мировых тенденций развития информационно-коммуникационных технологий. Методология исследования заключается в изучении отчетов, новостей, статистических данных по информационно-коммуникационным технологиям (ИКТ) от авторитетных источников. Исследованы мировые затраты на ИКТ и отдельных стран. Выявлена большая потребность в квалифицированных ИТ-специалистах, в связи с развитием новых технологий. Определены самые востребованные ИТ-специалисты.     Purpose: At present, high and sometimes record indicators have been achieved for the individual branches of agricultural production. Further intensive development of agriculture is due to the search for new ways to increase labor productivity and lower production costs which is the main aim of this research. Design/Methodology/Approach: The methodological basis served as a systematic approach, which ensured comprehensiveness and purposefulness. Analytical, abstract-logical, economic-statistical, monographic and experimental research methods were also used in this work to examine problems and prospects of sectoral digitalization. Findings: The agro-industrial complex demonstrates the growth of production indicators and is on the rise. The target indicators, laid down in the Food Security Doctrine, have already been achieved by many indices. To a large extent, it is due to a significant increase in the agro-industrial complex. Practical implications: A proposed platform that would ensure a breakthrough in further technical modernization of production, can be created only if the technologies are improved based on their digitalization and orientation towards a specific consumer. Originality/Value: The pin-point introduction of digital technologies in agricultural production confirms the high efficiency of the full innovative technical modernization. The proposed digital transformation of management in the agro-industrial complex of Russia is the value of this research with its originality compared to other ideas. © 2019 International Strategic Management Association.     Metal nanoparticles as effective promotors for Maize production

    Zero-valent metal nanoparticles (Cu, Fe and Co) were prepared by the reactive method from their oxide with hydrogen. The energy-rich solutions of metal nanoparticles were used for treatment Maize seeds prior to sowing. The treatment significantly improved the germination rate and early growth. Furthermore, both SOD and APX enzyme activity in leaves were improved, and enhanced the metabolism of superoxide, leading to increased drought resistance. The method was applied to the field over three seasons and greatly improved the harvest. In particular, the implementation of Cu particles at 4 mg/kg increased the productivity of the two Maize species more than 20%

    Spectral Engineering of Tamm Plasmon Resonances in Dielectric Nanoporous Photonic Crystal Sensors

    Vol. 14 pp 22747-22761Model light-confining Tamm plasmon cavities based on gold-coated nanoporous anodic alumina photonic crystals (TMM−NAA−PCs) with spectrally tunable resonance bands were engineered. Laplacian and Lorentzian NAA−PCs produced by a modified Gaussian-like pulse anodization approach showed well-resolved, high-quality photonic stopbands, the position of which was precisely controlled across the visible spectrum by the periodicity in the input anodization profile. These PC structures were used as a platform material to develop highly reflective distributed Bragg mirrors, the top sides of which were coated with a thin gold film. The resulting nanoporous hybrid plasmonic−photonic crystals showed strong light-confining properties attributed to Tamm plasmon resonances at three specific positions of the visible spectrum. These structures achieved high sensitivity to changes in refractive index, with a sensitivity of ∼106 nm RIU−1 . The optical sensitivity of TMM−NAA−PCs was assessed in real time, using a model chemically selective binding interaction between thiol-containing molecules and gold. The optical sensitivity was found to rely linearly on the spectral position of the Tamm resonance band, for both Laplacian and Lorentzian TMM−NAA−PCs. The density of self-assembled monolayers of thiol-containing analyte molecules formed on the surface of the metallic film directly contributes to the dependence of sensitivity on TMM resonance position in these optical transducers.     On the way to autonomous model predictive control: a distillation column simulation study

    Model Predictive Control (MPC) is a powerful tool in the control of large scale chemical processes and has become the standard method for constrained multivariable control problems. Hence, the number of MPC applications is increasing steadily and it is being used in application domains other than petrochemical industries. A common observation by the industrial practitioners is that success of any MPC application requires not only efficient initial deployment but also maintenance of initial effectiveness. To this end, we propose a novel high level automated support strategy for MPC systems. Such a strategy consists of components such as performance monitoring, performance diagnosis, least costly closed loop experiment design, re-identification and autotuning. This work presents the novel technological developments in each component and demonstrates them on a distillation column case study. We show that automated support strategy restores nominal performance after a performance drop is detected and takes the right course of action depending on its cause

    Measuring ground subsidence in Ha Noi through the radar interferometry technique using terrasar-x and cosmos skymed data

    International audienceMultitemporal synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometry (InSAR) is a widely used technique to measure the ground subsidence and has already shown its ability to map such phenomena on a large spatial scale with millimetric accuracy from space. In Vietnam, to have independent SAR data for surface risk applications, a new X-band SAR mission (JV-LOTUSat) has been scheduled for launch for the 2019-2020 timeframe. However, Vietnam is located in tropical regions where their conditions are impacted by strong atmosphere. The aim of this article is to provide a better understanding of the capabilities of the X-band for estimating the ground subsidence under tropical atmospheric conditions. Analysis is carried out on two stacks, TerraSAR-X and Cosmos SkyMed X-band, from 2011 to 2014 in Ha Noi. We show that the results on the ground subsidence from InSAR processing can describe consistently the subsidence area based on ground measurements. This article demonstrates that the InSAR technique can be effective at detecting and estimating the subsidence phenomena even with the X-band and under conditions typical of tropical regions. The displacement results from TerraSAR-X and Cosmos SkyMed datasets are consistent, with a correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.91 for the period during which their coverage overlaps. Groundwater overexploitation is one of the main causes of the ground subsidence in Ha Noi. This study provides strong support for the scientific potential of the X-band SAR space-borne mission in Vietnam and other tropical countries because it demonstrates the feasibility of the ground subsidence estimates by the X-band SAR, even in conditions impacted by strong atmosphere
